Morten is a very pleasant host, pleasant arrival and got some tips about the local area. The location was very nice and quiet, short know by car to very mangr sights and Oslo city center. Several bathing places within walking and cycling distance. Great location for us during our stay.

We were a group of 4 people with a kid. The stay was very nice. The landlords were always available for communication. They even offered tips for sightseeing.

Loved the place. Beautiful little house with character. 5 of us stayed and it was comfortable. Host was amazing. Showed the house around and set up the heating etc. The boat was an added bonus. Children had a great time. Just a shame the weather wasn’t the best but we made the most of it.

it's a very beautiful and peaceful place

Johanne’s place is very cosy and was perfect for what we needed - a couple of nights in the area. We stayed with our two children and they loved the pull out beds and the garden. It’s a unique place to stay in Oslo.

everything was perfect. the owners are fantastic, the accommodation offers a unique experience. magnificent view of the fjord and perfect harmony with the life it offers. highly recommended

It has been a great place to stay. Exactly as described. Only at night we did not have the problem of getting to the toilet. Either it was up to us or the door is locked at night. We were looking for something near Oslo because we wanted to visit the city. By car it was less than half an hour to get to downtown. The forest near the cabin was very nice and worth a walk. Many thanks to Stian for the hospitality.

Peaceful and idyllic surroundings, with views from the kitchen over the forest and vegetable garden. Charming decor and the place was experienced as clean and tidy. Helle was also welcoming with check-in time and gave clear instructions on how to get there. When we arrived late at night, the host put out lanterns to show us the way through the garden, which we appreciated. The price is somewhat high given the remote location, but you get peace in return. There is a spinning top and a low bed on the floor, but it works as long as you are aware of it. Thank you for staying in a cozy little place :)

Eric and Gitta's cottage suited us just fine. It was self-contained, located in a lovely garden within a semi-forested setting, and private with all the facilities we needed.

This place is a true harmony. It was lovely to wake up every day to the sounds of nature and the view of the lake. The house is so charming and cozy, and the surroundings are even better. Erik and his wife are great hosts and have been very hospitable and always available. We can highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at The Funny Farm! 2 girlfriends with 5 children. And they have loved to stay overnight on the farm, be part of the morning chores, play with the other children who live there and just have a lot of fun with animals and toys. It's fun that several of the animals roam freely around the farm. The little house offers charm and beautiful colors. A unique place to stay for both young and old. The hosts Hanne and Kjetil are incredibly nice and welcomed our group so well! The kids are already nagging about going back, so we'll probably do that.🌸

Trond was a wonderful and really helpful host! The place is beautifully located close to the nature. It was very clean and I was positively surprised with a small separate room for the children. Definitely can warmly recommend Trond’s guest house!

Pretty amazing little triplex with: 1st Floor: An entrance 2nd floor: dining room, kitchen and bathroom 3rd floor: a small bedroom under the attic. The apartment is connected to the owners house even if it remains independent. However, the partitions are hardly thick. And the big bonus: the great view of Oslo Bay!

very nice experience, welcoming host, sociable but lets you do your own thing. outdoor sleeping area is awesome. the views are beautiful and comfortable bed. the area of Oslo is the new, smart area. you have to travel out a bit from there to get more 'quirky' things. extremely clean. thank you

The Airbnb is really well maintained. It has a full kitchen , the room we got was spacious clean sheets and mattress. Very close to metro station. Overall we loved the stay and will be back soon 🤗

I loved the experience I had at Camilla’s house. People are amazing there, I had such a peaceful time while being there, also had fun! Absolutely recommended, it’s literally 2 minutes away from the metro by foot. Highly suggest to stay here!!

We were initially a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but we ended up pleasantly surprised. The house has several rooms and other guests, but everyone was quiet and respectful, which made for a comfortable stay. While Camilla was away and slow to respond, someone was managing the place on her behalf and was very helpful. The shared kitchen was clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. If you're traveling on a budget and don’t mind a more basic, non-updated room, this place is a good choice.

Leona and Petter are very welcoming and communication with them was quick and easy. Their place is clean, comfortable, and furnished with everything needed for an enjoyable stay (including some bonus astonishing sunsets which flood the house with light). There is an artisan bakery within walking distance as well as a well-stocked supermarket. For those who prefer to stay locally and relax the fjord is lovely of course, but a very short ride to Son train station will then take you to the Oslo Central Station and all the world-class attractions this city offers.
