Excellent place to stay, the place is very comfortable to move from Playa to Playa. Isabelle was always attentive to what we needed and was very patient.

A4x4 is defiantly required and the some parts of the road can be a little nerve racking the first couple of times. However upon arrival you will be glad you made the trip. The place is peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful and you defiantly feel like you are at one with the jungle. Jeffery was there to greet us and showed us everything we needed to know about the house and pool. As well gave us a quick tour of the fruit on the yard and said we could pick as we required. He also contacted us every other day through Air BnB messaging to see if there was anything we required. There is also a maintenance person who lives close by and was there within 5 min after we contacted Jeffery to change the propane tank when our tank had gone empty. We look forward to staying there again in the future

The restaurant and pool are located in the most beautiful surroundings! We saw monkeys, tucans, parrots, lizards and hummingbirds just as we were laying by the pool. So beautiful. Great value! Villa located undisturbed, you can't see your neighbors. Living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. Unfortunately, there is only air conditioning in one bedroom. In the living room and the second bedroom there is just a fan. Delicious and large jacuzzi!

Alonso was a great host with a beautiful home. Such a peaceful retreat from the city and the view was to die for! Must Visit Home!

It's a great place, just what I was looking for

We could write a book about this place! The nearby point break has the most incredible, forgiving left-hand wave & the beach is just a short, beautiful 0.3-mi walk. What really set this trip apart were our hosts, Corynne, Ian & son Finn. Thoughtful, fun & so genuinely welcoming, they made us feel so at home, moreover, they are next-level surfers! They were like personal guides in & out of the water—helping us position in the waves (even giving us a push when we needed it), showing us around town, introducing us to locals & sharing so much! The property is stunning! We loved being able to pick fresh mandarins, limes, grapefruit, bananas, plantains, pineapples & even collect fresh eggs daily from the chickens. Casita is private, beautifully designed & fully equipped—from Vitamix to Berkey water filter (thank god no plastic water bottles to buy!) Love the outdoor shower, pool & playing pickleball with Corynne and Ian. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

Beautiful place, with breathtaking views. Good attention and if they hire the food is delicious. It's not up to the host, but I think it's important to note that the access road is preferably for 4x4 vehicles, and remember that it's a very cold place, especially in rainy weather.

Nice place about 20 minutes from the beach. Walking distance to Nauyaka Falls. Check in was very easy and flexible. Best to have a car when staying here.

Rebeca and Thom were excellent, they welcomed us even in the rain, we were toured around the house they gave us recommendations and invited us to know the property, and even invited us to some homemade snack. The estate is 600 meters from a hidden beach, very alone and bathed in nature, walking to the beach itself is an experience... I would not say that it is a quiet beach, but sitting to read and listen to the sea is something magical We had a May bumblebee invasion, the house is quite sealed, however some manage to pass, so if you had apiphobia, it's good to take that into account... The construction is beautiful, the house is made to enjoy the view both inside and outside it, the gardens are beautiful and even have a nursery on the property, there are almonds very close to the houses so you are likely to enjoy daily visits of lapas. I recommend thousand this place, thank you guys ppor to take such care of this slice of paradise!

2nd stay for us this year was for 3 weeks and we enjoyed every minute of it.

It was a super quiet and pleasant stay

The pictures do not give this place justice. It was very beautiful and the owners were very helpful and responsive.

Brilliant loft bed: downstairs king size and upstairs double bed with super much space. We enjoyed the view over the mountains and were woken up in the morning by macaws and parrots and accompanied at breakfast. The bus towards the border ran directly at the bottom of Panamerica, but not at 8:30 am (as claimed by several locals) and not every hour, but shortly after 10 then a bus to Neily came and from there a bus passed in Paso Canoas every half hour. On the other side of the border, minibuses run virtually every 5 minutes to David for $5 per person.

Amazing place. Jessie and his family are very friendly and helped us out a lot, we got bananas , fruits and veggies , Costa Rican food specialties for free. . We felt right at home. The place is very clean and private . Beautiful sturdy furniture. It has all that it needs. Beautiful nature around. Cozy little village with very friendly people. . Cheap taxi if you want to get to the villages around. There is a beautiful river and waterfall near by to visit . On the property there are lots of banana trees, yukka plants , coffee plants , Jessies Dad has some special bottle on the terras that he fills out regularly with honey, so Colibri birds come to eat. The little magical Colibri are everywhere such a beautiful sight. Lots of fireflies, mini pigeons, beautiful colorful birds everywhere. Pets friendly. Our pets were extremely happy. Our dog had lots of freedom in the yard . We loved our stay and when we come to Costa Rica we will definitely go back.

Wonderful quick review

Jamie and Sonia were excellent hosts, any questions they responded right away. The house was even better in person than the pictures depicted. We stayed at the property for 24 days. Almost every day we had a troop of about 20 white faced capuchin monkeys come through the yard between the house and the beach. There were also scarlet macaws that came through almost every day. The beach was beautiful, very clean and just steps from the back door. Jose Luis, the groundskeeper who lives on the property, was great. He takes pride in keeping the property clean, he cleaned the yard twice every single day we were there. It was the most well kept yard around. There is a convenience store just down the street for whatever you need. We were looking for somewhere that was accessible to touristy places without actually being in a tourist area and we got exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts and Jose Luis for making our trip an amazing experience!

We loved our stay here. The bird life alone was stunning - scarlet macaws, parakeets, toucans and so many more. The pool was everything we needed and the space of the home was well laid out. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a little grocery store just a short walk away where we picked up ice cream and anything we forgot from Puerto Jimenez. It is a little drive out of town but such a beautiful retreat, we rarely left.

Rodolfo and Jessica's house is perfectly equipped; nothing is missing. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen, it has everything you need, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The garden is beautiful and the area for the night campfire is a detail that is greatly appreciated. What I liked the most was the terrace, a space of peace and tranquility where you can hear nature at its best. As for service and communication, both were excellent; they were attentive to our needs at all times. They are two very kind people and committed to customer service, lovely! Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to live this pleasant experience.
