Great places to stay for a trip to Europa park. Highly recommend

This is like a dream. I regret that we booked only three nights. We wish we could be here forever! The place is in the middle of Black Forest, close to all places that beat represent the culture and nature of Black Forest, and far from tourism places. The house, the decoration, and surrounding nature and setting are very charming and magical, makes you feel like you go back in time. The place is also very clean which is very important to us. The host very responsive and provide best instruction and guide to local places. We already plan to come back! Highly recommended! ❤️👍🏻

The property is highly recommended. Freudenstadt (the nearest town) is easy to reach on foot or by bus. The tourist tax definitely makes it worth using public transport. (Stop directly at the house). Freudenstadt offers great restaurants, a huge market square, some museums and all kinds of shops for strolling. For all nature lovers, you can either start immediately from the accommodation or explore the Allerheiligen waterfalls by car, for example. The apartment is well furnished with everything you need. There is even a wood-burning stove for the cold days. Sara and Tassilo are very nice hosts and definitely worth one (or more) visits! A very clear recommendation for us :)

The apartment is located in one of the most charming alleys of the old city, caressed by a suggestive canal overlooked by the three bright windows (which can be darkened at night). Next to the entrance, there are two beautiful places to eat and drink something good; the general atmosphere is soft and the night is very quiet. With a few steps - or by using the tram, two minutes away - you have all the most significant places in the city at your disposal. The accommodation, on the first floor, is reached by a short flight of stairs. The interior is excellently maintained and cleaned with great care, tastefully furnished, with warm tones and materials, and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen is small but functional. Ultimately, a very charming stay but, at the same time, very practical and pleasant. Check-in was held remotely due to my delay, but everything went very well: Christine is communicative, kind, and ready to give directions. Thank you very much, I will be back

We had a pleasant stay in this very clean, peaceful and neatly decorated accommodation. The environment is conducive to relaxation and disconnection. Hosts are welcoming and responsive. We can therefore only recommend this accommodation!

We had a lovely few days here, it was just what we needed to start our Black Forest holiday and relax in nature. We walked in the national park from the door. The hosts were super friendly and really helped us settle in: the home made apple juice was a particularly nice touch. It was easy to get back onto the main road for days out or trips to the supermarket. We’d recommend this to anyone who needs to take it slow and relax for a few days.

Beautiful apartment in the lovely and historic Petite France neighborhood. A few minutes' walk (or just down the stairs!) to great restaurants, cafes. Don was always communicative and attentive to needs.

Great place and attention

Karin and Wolfgang welcomed me very warmly and I immediately felt welcome in your house. They are very helpful and always available, wonderful conversation partners and tipsters and you feel comfortable and arrived from the beginning. It's all absolutely straightforward and it's the perfect place to relax or be active in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is optimal. Super clean and tidy, friendly furnishings and flooded with light. The sunny balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and invites you to relax. The kitchen and bathroom leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The bed is very comfortable and guarantees a good night's sleep together with the incredible silence. You can park right at your doorstep. For me, it was the absolute right decision. I'd love to come back. Many thanks, Karin and Wolfgang, for the exceptionally beautiful week!

How can you not give 5 stars here? It was very nice, great, well-kept accommodation equipped with everything you need and beautiful, huge, very well-kept garden. We were there with three dogs, everyone had a lot of fun and we had a relaxing time. Pauline's mother is very nice and explained everything to us super, a really great welcome. The koi carp were also great. Right across from the accommodation, there are beautiful forest paths and a beautiful lake in the village. The only point of the accommodation, the previous tenants unfortunately did not remove some dog poop. But the landlords can't do anything about it. From their side, everything was really wonderful, we would definitely like to come back and can only highly recommend the accommodation. Especially if you are looking for a quiet place with one or more dogs.

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

A beautifully converted dairy stylish and chic. Lovely setting on the family farm. Warm welcome and great to be able to buy locally made produce direct. Well placed to visit sights in the Black Forest. Would visit again

Accommodation is very well located if you are looking for nature and peace with good amenities in general. The sauna is a real plus. The only small negative point is the lack of a telephone network, but it forces us to refocus on what is necessary 👌 The host came several times to see if we were missing anything and was lovely. I highly recommend it.

After a short instruction from Verena, we found the cottage, it is quite hidden but fantastically located. Frog croaking and cricket chirping are part of it. There is everything you need in the house. Some things need renovation, but everything works. I would have liked a little more cleanliness only on the floor! The large double bed let us sleep well. Otherwise, with the summer weather, we had every opportunity to eat outside, and depending on the position of the sun, we chose the dining area at the house. There are many excursion destinations within reach, and if you love nature, you are in the right place. I've never seen so much forest with beautiful forest paths! Small towns can also be visited, even in France. A fun bath with sauna in Dahn was worth a day's holiday. People are very friendly everywhere, it's easy to strike up a conversation. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

This was a lovely stay in a historic building, also very clean and convenient interior. The host is friendly.

Very quiet location in a beautiful area. Perfect for unplugging.

This is a great place to stay in Colmar. Although parking is a bit of a problem and very expensive.

Torsten and Simone were wonderful and very attentive hosts. The apartment and the location were perfect, we lacked nothing. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

Marvellous hosts who couldn't do enough for us. They welcomed us in person and gave us some wine and beer! They were always available to answer any questions and to make suggestions as to what we should do. We loved the position by the little Brook and the balcony was really nice to relax on after a long walk! We loved the area and will definitely try and return in the future.

We enjoyed everything very much. The apartment is in a very quiet and picturesque location, away from the hustle and bustle. We felt like we had visited very close friends. Anika and her family are very friendly. We would love to return

Enjoyable stay with nice hosts. Parking directly at the property, quiet location and easy to reach. Full apartment, which I would not have needed - the price always worth - if necessary, gladly again!
