Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ortenau

We stayed there as a family and enjoyed the stay. The apartment was perfectly and lovingly furnished. There were also play equipment outside and the sauna was great. The excursion destinations are diverse and there are very good restaurants nearby. The hostess was very warm and had some tips and surprises for us. We're already looking forward to your next visit!

Han's place was idyllic indeed. Loved the way he repurposed the furniture. His extensive library was amazing and a variety of subjects! Made me wished I learnt German actually. Was fun to see the Rolling Stones posters and tickets.. and books in the library. The garden was huge and peaceful. Overall, a beautiful place.

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

This Airbnb home was pretty awesome. I am planning to go to Europa Park again, and I will book this Airbnb again. The house is huge with all the necessary things. Oh, the garden area in the background is super cool. Overall it's Awesome.

A very comfortable place in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. A hiking trail that follows a stream to the reservoir is a short walk away. Sabine is very kind and a welcoming host.

Caroline & Olivier are attentive, responsive hosts, doing everything they can to ensure that their guests have the best stay possible. The house is isolated in the middle of the vineyards, we don't disturb anyone! Peaceful setting, very well-equipped accommodation, ideal for a small family. Thank you for this short but nice stay!

Eric's place is really highly recommended. The equipment is great, everything was available & corresponded exactly to the description. Also, everything was very clean. With a large group it is really very convenient, as there are many bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an additional separate toilet. The apartment is in a nice quiet area with a great bakery right around the corner. Communication and check-in were also completely hassle-free. We really highly recommend this place and would come back anytime!

We (my husband, our baby and I) felt completely comfortable with Daniela in Freiburg. The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and well equipped. Daniela was very friendly, helpful and always easy to reach, you can just tell that she cares about the well-being of her guests. The location was ideal for us: quiet surroundings with a beautiful view of the Black Forest and only a short walk to the Dreisam. We enjoyed the time very much and can only recommend the stay!

We wanted a stopover on our trip from the Netherlands to Italy that was more than just a roadside motel, and we found exactly that. The location is stunning, with an easy and scenic drive through charming small towns. Nestled in a lush forest with fantastic hiking paths, the nearby watchtower offers breathtaking views, setting the perfect mood for our stay. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and just as described. Its old-school style enhances the forest cabin experience, complemented by modern appliances. Though it feels remote, we had no issues with water, electricity, heating, or internet. What truly set this stay apart was the warmth of the hosts. Karl, with his deep knowledge of the area, guided us through the best hiking trails, sharing local information along the way. Simona welcomed us like family and prepared a breakfast that felt like home-cooked, complete with homemade blueberry pie and Black Forest cake. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing vacation with Melanie and her family in a really great apartment on the edge of a village. The apartment is half on the mountain and you are directly on the first hiking trail when you go out the door. It was wonderfully quiet here and we can really recommend anyone who is looking for relaxation to spend their vacation here. The apartment itself was sparkling clean and had everything you could want on vacation...very loving furnishings, a large bathroom and even board and card games. We especially liked the beautiful terrace belonging to the apartment. Here you can sit in the countryside surrounded by nut and fruit trees and enjoy a wonderful view of the valley. Above all, we would like to thank Melanie and her family for the many tips on hikes, restaurants and excursions! We felt very comfortable with you and would be happy if we could come back.

We had a fantastic stay in a fully equipped apartment. Everything is provided. The beds are great. It is also really a king size. We always select on that. I am tall and wide, so that was nice. The wifi is very good. The area is beautiful. The view from the apartment is phenomenal and wide. We have seen wildlife from the apartment (deer and various birds of prey). We had a view of the mountains and the cattle of the father of the owner of the apartment. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We regularly had a chat with them. From the apartment, beautiful routes and places are accessible at a reasonable distance, as well as large well-stocked supermarkets and restaurants and terraces. For hikers, this is the end of the line. But when you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place to be. Really a super apartment in a super location. Highly recommended, at an affordable rate.

We can only agree with all the other comments. In the Lerchennest you can feel completely comfortable, Jens is always available and very friendly and proactive. From Aach/Dornstetten, you can also quickly reach and enjoy many excursion destinations in the Black Forest. The animals and the sauna are the icing on the cake for a successful stay.

The cozy log cabin with garden is located in a quiet, green environment. It is very clean, well equipped and pleasantly bright thanks to the large skylight. Wolfgang is a friendly and attentive host who proactively informs and responds very quickly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

It was a wonderful stay with a lot of peace, exactly what we wanted. Relaxation, reading a book, nature, cooking, enjoying the silence. Simply beautiful! Next time I'll take a sleeping mask with me, 😉otherwise everything was super nice.

Last year, my husband and our eldest son liked it very much. This year, the little brother was allowed to enjoy the house with his dad. And thanks to the great weather, the two of them were able to enjoy the great outdoor pool. It was just wonderful.

We had some wonderful serene and sunny days in Pierre and Katia's mountain cabin. Incredible flexible and friendly hosts and we felt right at home from the first second. Beautiful location and spacious cabin. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, the outdoor bath and daily cuddles with Snow (the dog) whom our own dog also found a friend in. Al fresco dining everyday. We had daily excursions to nearby Alsace attractions with advice from Pierre and the children are still talking about the welcome bowl with candy (and Snow of course! ;) Cabin is warmly recommended

We spent a family vacation in Ölbronn. We were six adults and one toddler. We felt very comfortable, everything was available. The kitchen was very well equipped and the outdoor area was our favorite place. Everything our daughter could wish for was there - from a cot, to a high chair, some books, to her highlight - a swing. We took two excursions: to the monastery of Maulbronn and to the nearby lake with a visit to a restaurant. That was also very nice. Karin was always easy to reach, responded quickly and very kindly and gave us many tips in advance :-) so thank you for an all-round successful vacation!

The accommodation is in the garden of the host family. The garden is so beautifully arranged. The cottage is so cute and so cozy. We thank Elias and his whole family for the nice reception.
