Farmstay holiday rentals in Ortenau

We spent a few wonderful days in the small, cozy Kota on the horse farm. The Kota is compact, but furnished with a lot of love and homemade dishes by Marie and offers everything you need for a relaxing short break. We were particularly impressed by the warm hospitality of the two hosts – Marie and Michel are incredibly friendly and attentive and immediately made us feel welcome. The location is also ideal: in just 10 minutes you can walk to the nearest S-Bahn station, from there you can reach the center of Strasbourg in 15 to 20 minutes - perfect for excursions into the city without having to do without the tranquility of the rural surroundings. A wonderful place to unplug.

The stay with Barbara was super pleasant. We were warmly welcomed and it was as if we were visiting our grandmother. There were two plates of cake, two bottles of water, and a very tasty, homemade pear jelly in the kitchen, and coffee was also provided. After a brief introduction to the apartment, she gave us a folder with all sorts of useful information about the apartment and the surroundings, which clarified all open questions. Barbara was very courteous and helpful, as was her husband. Even when we had to interrupt our stay for private reasons, Barbara had full understanding and helped us with everything according to the rules. On the second arrival, the welcome was again warm and we were able to enjoy our stay to the end. We were very happy to be Barbara's guests. We will definitely be back.

Great place They have considered everything to make you feel at home. They even had lots of toys and games our 3 year old could play with and kept him busy and happy. Heidi took him to her garden as well to pluck fresh greens and strawberries. Beautiful memories Beautiful people Must visit

Nana's house made the perfect base for our cycling/walking holiday in the Black Forest. The house was beautifully furnished and set in a peaceful valley surrounded by forest. With multiple living spaces to inhabit, the space was more than generous for our group of 4 adults. Kitchen facilities were excellent, and we made the most of the lovely outdoor dining area during warm weather. There was a good bakery and restaurant/bar within walking distance. There are no laundry facilities available to guests, but this is stated clearly on the listing so we came prepared for this. Instructions for the house were extensive, but clear and easy to understand, and they included thoughtful suggestions for sightseeing in the local area. I'd highly recommend Nana's house to others looking for a peaceful base to explore the Black Forest.

We spent a wonderful few days in Russel’s tastefully renovated barn. The house is very cosy, we felt at home right away. There are two bedrooms with double beds, each with a bathroom, and a convertible bed in the living room for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and we even received a nice bottle of wine and milk from the host. It was pretty warm during our stay so the kids even enjoyed the pool! It’s a perfect place to rest before and after exploring the area, without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of other more touristy villages, yet being close to everything.

Claudia's house is a gem - a mix of style icons, museum and antique shop. Those who are prone to too many impressions per square meter will not feel comfortable. Everyone else will be very excited. Big pluses: the well-equipped kitchen, the sociable guest and pub room as well as the garden with diverse barbecue facilities - and if necessary - an outdoor kitchen. We felt very comfortable.

Fantastic quiet place with plenty of outdoor space. Children can have fun, run and discover all sorts of things. Karin was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. We could even do the laundry again. Fresh eggs were available every morning. The kitchen was well equipped and there were also many games, books and DVDs available. The house was very clean and the toilet, bathroom and kitchen seemed recently renovated. From the house, you can almost immediately walk on a hiking track, right up the hill. All in all a very successful stay, recommended!

Great place, peaceful in the middle of nature , short drive to shops and motorway but this is what we wanted , peace and quiet and she has a little shop with essentials if needed . Very helpful and proactive, also the children loved the cats and the playground !

A just perfect stay. The place was impeccably clean, and it had everything you need for a few days. Anna-Maria was attentive to our different needs and always responded quickly.

We had a very nice few days in Durbach. Stefan and Roswitha are great landlords and were always available for questions and tips. The apartment was perfectly equipped and nothing was missing. A great stay on the farm! We had a wonderful time at this apartment on the farm. The accommodation was not only very clean and cozy, but also equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views of the surrounding nature were great, and the tranquility just priceless. The hosts were very nice and attentive.

Our trip to Christiane Paula's place was amazing. It was clean, well-maintained and quite newly refurbished. You can walk to restaurants in Todtnauberg, as well as the Blackforestline and hike atop of Feldberg quickly. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, so in case you wanna have a relaxing weekend in Black Forest we highly recommend this place :)

We were 8 people on site (6 adults + 2 children). The accommodation is exactly as described in the photos. We were informed in good time and questions were answered quickly. We enjoyed it very much. We'll be back.

We felt immediately comfortable with Rosemary. The cottage was nice and warm when we arrived in bad weather and the view was magnificent. Luckily, we had a few warm days to spend on the wonderful terrace. It was not far to Colmar etc, but after the hustle and bustle down in the valley we were able to rest and relax well in the mountains above Orbey. In the kitchen everything was there, the whole house very original. Really highly recommended! Also very dog friendly!

Amazing stay! Elias and Susanne were terrific hosts. The airline lost our luggage and they were so helpful with suggestions on last minute shopping! The house is nice and quiet and plenty of space for our family! Would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time here! Our expectations were far exceeded. We didn't expect such an idyllic place! Situated on a hill, there is a great view everywhere. As far as the eye can see, you can see forests and trees, flowers and shrubs. Everything is very lovingly arranged and you want to do everything to preserve this beautiful spot of nature. The terrace is unique, we grilled every day, and the pool is the absolute non plus ultra! We have also made friends with the chickens. We had attended a congress in Pulversheim and ended up here by chance, but what a stroke of luck! We will not forget our time here! Karin&Lee
