Pet-friendly holiday rentals in New Orleans

We had such a wonderful time and the place was close to the French Quarter and we could easily walk. The artwork in the home was beautiful, but I would worry about children around some of the artwork. The host was great and responded quickly to our questions.

We arrived 20 minutes early and were able to get it no problem. The instructions were very clear. The place was clean and very spacious. It made our time in NOLA even better. Close to the trolly that will take you right to Bourbon street. Kurt was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. We will definitely book again when we come back!!

The house is beautiful and well maintained with a great layout for larger groups and families. We loved our stay. The location is also fairly convenient in terms of being close to everything without being right in the middle of it.

The house was so perfect, functional, comfy, and surprisingly accommodated nine people exceptionally well. We felt so at ease and happy that we could all fit so well. We loved the living room couch, multiple naps were taken there and it fit my two aunts side by side on one end! Just can't say enough how family friendly the house is. I felt closer to my family because it was an open concept; however, there was enough space between living and dining room to carry separate conversations. It was also really close to major attractions like Bourbon street, which was not as important for us this trip since tourism wasn't our main focus, but it was so easy to go for a quick jaunt into Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde. The neighborhood seemed so safe, we all felt comfortable going out to our car late at night. And the neighbors were friendly. Also, with such a boisterous family I felt like we were able to still be ourselves. I'd definitely stay here again, we loved it.

Kimberly’s place was perfect for us. Every time I walked in the door I felt peaceful. Perfect amount of decorating, understated furniture with New Orleans flair. The home is immaculate!! Not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are original and wonderful to walk on. The high ceilings and chandeliers made the rooms feel special and even more spacious. Perfect blend of original, restored and updated. Super comfortable beds. Real plants in every room!—all the right touches to make me feel at home. Highly recommend!!

If you want to experience authentic New Orleans vibes in a 100+ year old shotgun, this is the place. The location is near plenty of bars and restaurants without being in the middle of the quarter. The owner was fantastic, and you can tell he put some love into this house. We got in late and had a minor issue, thinking he might respond the following day. Not only did he respond immediately, he fixed it within 15 minutes. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house was in a great, quiet location near Tulane, and close to plenty of restaurants on Freret. It was awesome that the hosts allowed pets, and we were happy with the small fenced-in outdoor space for quick doggie potty breaks. Parking on the street right outside the house was easy with plenty of room for our SUV. While we did not do any cooking, the home has a full kitchen with everything you need. We would definitely like to come back at the start of the fall semester.

We loved Anthony’s place - one of the very few places where we felt welcomed with our dogs, not just tolerated. Anthony’s place was incredibly clean and the backyard was very nice - the automated outdoor lights made the backyard a very inviting space. All of the neighbors (that we met) were very pleasant! It’s in a great location too, walkable to a lot of cafes and a very close drive to Audubon park and the zoo! Next time we are in NOLA we are definitely going to look into booking here again.

Amazing stay - great house, good amenities, and walkable to so many great places.

Everything was exactly as described. Alleshia was very responsive to all inquires. We ended up being there during terrific downpours, so we spent cozy hours indoors. The neighborhood is interesting and some of the properties are undergoing a face lift.

An Amazingly Charming Stay in the Heart of New Orleans! This home perfectly captures the spirit of New Orleans. The exterior has that classic, historic charm I dream about when I think of the city, and the interior beautifully balances vintage character with modern comforts—those beds were incredibly comfortable! The original hardwood floors and thoughtful furnishings made it feel both cozy and stylish. Just a heads-up: this is a true New Orleans shotgun house, so the rooms flow one into the next with no hallways. It’s also a duplex with shared walls, so sound can carry—something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the charm and location more than made up for it. We felt completely safe walking to and from the French Quarter (just a 15-minute walk), even late at night. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made everything easy. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Quiet place. Near establishments. It's an old charming house and the floor is a bit crooked but the kitchen and living room are pristine. Excellent and accommodating communication. The house is good for groups but the 1st floor bedroom is between the kitchen and living room so privacy may be an issue. Our stay was overall good.

Sam’s place was perfect for our group of 8. Everything was very clean and the pool area was gorgeous. We felt safe and didn’t see hardly any wanderers in the neighborhood. The location was convenient and a quick drive into the city. Sam gave clear instructions on getting inside and also checked in shortly after our arrival to make sure we had smooth access to the house. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Also, the restaurant directly across the street had fantastic food as well.

We had a wonderful family getaway staying at this Airbnb in Louisiana. It was a special trip for us, as it was our mom’s dream to bring her 6 kids to see her home state. The home was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished—perfect for relaxing together after our days out exploring. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to local attractions, food, and family-friendly spots. We felt right at home, and it meant a lot to stay somewhere that added comfort and ease to our trip. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The backyard was lovely with the pool and seating for many. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Louisiana—we’d definitely stay again

5 Stars – Fantastic Stay at The Augustin! I had an amazing stay at The Augustin! The location is perfect—right in the heart of New Orleans, with easy access to all the best attractions, restaurants, and bars. The space itself was spotless and incredibly clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was also very welcoming and provided great recommendations for things to do around the city. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in New Orleans! Highly recommend!

A group of my friends and I stay at Var’s place for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the back deck was very comfortable. We were a quick 10 minute uber ride to the French Quarter which was very practical. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great Airbnb in Nola!

Our stay at Kiley's home was absolutely marvelous! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were soft, and the space was clean and decorated beautifully. We absolute loved spending time out on the balcony. The neighborhood was quiet and as two women traveling in an unfamiliar city, we felt quite safe. Kiley was not only very informative but also accommodating to our needs, including providing lawn chairs for our two days at Jazz Fest. She was very friendly when we had the opportunity to meet her. I deeply appreciated our time here and would absolutely stay here again!

We are grateful for Rachel's hospitality and appreciate the space and comfort they provided during our short stay in New Orleans. We look forward to visiting again!

Derin & Heather are absolutely incredible hosts and the space is fantastic! Phenomenal location in a great neighborhood with convenient access to local restaurants/bars and ferry to the French Quarter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Cant’s say enough positive things about the property, hosts & location. Staying here was like a therapeutic retreat.

I have only great things to say about Mathilde! She went above and beyond as a host—we arrived to a house that not only matched the description exactly, but also contained complementary toiletries, fresh snacks and water, extra linens, and a binder full of nearby restaurants and must-see attractions. Everything from day 1 to checkout went incredibly smoothly, and we said several times that we would 100% stay here again if we ever return to NOLA. The location is perfect and very walkable to nearby restaurants and a grocery store. Don’t hesitate to book with Mathilde!! You will not regret it 😄

Great location and nice area to run for a work out. French Quarter was about 10 minutes away. For coffee lovers, PJ’s coffee was about 4 minute drive/20 min walk. Best coffee in that area. Host was very responsive even when it took me hours to respond back. ( didn’t see messages right away) .

A lovely weekend away in this beautiful home! So full of character and very comfortable with everything we could have needed. Great location and walkable into the French Quarter along the river if you’d like a stroll. Couldn’t have asked for a better base for our first time in NOLA.

David and Cassondra were very gracious and set the house up for a good time. My sons fished every morning and every evening. We caught crabs in the traps daily. Plenty of tackle and bait shops nearby. It was a 25 minute drive into downtown New Orleans. So the best of both worlds. The house was stocked with spices and condiments. Really enjoyed our stay and recommend it with 5 stars ⭐️
