Holiday rentals with a fire pit in New Orleans

I don’t even know where to begin — I’ve been coming to New Orleans for over 20 years, and Margeau’s Airbnb is hands-down the best place I’ve ever stayed. We were two couples and stayed extremely comfortably. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and spacious, and it’s in what I consider the perfect location — walkable to everything, with a Whole Foods nearby for anything we needed. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee and ending our evenings with wine out on the charming front porch. As for the host, Margeau was simply wonderful. She was incredibly responsive to all my (many!) questions before our trip, checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, and was always available with a great recommendation. Everything you could want in a host, truly. I’m already looking at dates to book again — this is where I’ll stay every time I come to NOLA from now on. Thank you, Margeau and Vince, for making our stay so memorable!

Great stay! The host was extremely accommodating, very professional and had great communication! The home was very clean and easy to access.

Home has plenty of space safe, clean, and very central to enjoying the city. Very walkable and only a quick Uber if otherwise wanting to venture a little further. Would look to stay here again in future visits!

Lady's place was amazing. Very clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. Had plenty of room for the 4 of us. You provide your own code to access the residence. She reached out to me, prior to getting to the house, so I even felt the "Southern Hospitality" prior to reaching the residence, even getting into Louisiana. The neighbors were so nice and friendly. We were here for a quick getaway to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday and surprised her with this weekend getaway and Lady's place was in a perfect location to everything. We went to the Jazz festival, took in all the sites, ate all that New Orleans had to offer, and even enjoyed a recommendation offered when I made the reservation (so again "Thank You"). I already know my older sister and none of us will never forget this trip, and have made memories that we'll forever and always cherish.

We stayed for a girls weekend and would recommend the location for anyone out of town needing to uber from Bourbon and popular restaurants. The fenced in yard for parking and personal leisure was a plus for our stay. Ms. Karen had great local recommendations as well. We will definitely book again!!❤️

Great stay! Great communication from Joseph. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and looked just like pictures. Fully stocked on anything you may need.

Loved this place in New Orleans Bywater district. Short walk to crescent park, nice neighborhood with cafes and clairvoyants. Fun outdoor garden with plenty of seating. The house itself is full of character with eclectic furniture and decorations. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

My Family, Friends and I took a Girls Trip to New Orleans and we stayed in this BEAUTIFUL HOME while there and EVERYTHING was exactly what other guest described so if you are EVER in New Orleans and looking for somewhere to call HOME for the weekend, definitely book with these WONDERFUL people…

Came to New Orleans for a wedding and was so happy to find George’s place. Both my kids have pet allergies so I was so happy to hear that his place was not only pet free but he had very high quality air filters! We slept great and enjoyed neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!

A lovely weekend away in this beautiful home! So full of character and very comfortable with everything we could have needed. Great location and walkable into the French Quarter along the river if you’d like a stroll. Couldn’t have asked for a better base for our first time in NOLA.

This was probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. It was huge, clean, and comfortable. The private parking was a giant plus, and the drive to the French Quarter was really short even with traffic. Our host was extremely responsive and very friendly, especially when we requested another night because we loved the place so much. I hope to be able to rent this place again when we return to NOLA!

Darleen was very friendly and hospitable. We were unpleased with a separate airbnb situation across town and needed a new spot quickly. Darleen had us in there in no time and we were very pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend!

This spot was lovely - quiet, clean, and well-curated. the decor was playful and charming, the backyard was extremely nice, and Natalia provided plenty of little things like laundry detergent pods that made our stay easier and stress-free. Parking was always available and convenient. The neighborhood was consistently quiet. Overall a great find.

I really LOVE this place! It's definitely a hidden gem! It's very cozy, like a tiny house situation and beautiful inside and out. It is walking distance to everything my partner needed for his vlog "Swaganese Travels": Louis Armstrong park was right up the street, the Treme recreation center was right across the street, French Quarter, Gladys Bar over on Saratoga, Riverwalk, Canal Street, Caesar's casino, Caesar's Superdome, Smoothie King Arena, hell, we even took the 1 minute ferry ride to Old Algiers from Riverwalk to a taco bar and walked that area. I've read a few reviews about not walking the area but we're from NYC, we walk from the Bx(Bronx) to BK(Brooklyn) (iykyk) with no problem so walking was cool for us, even at night. The coffee house across the street was a nice situation too, very good people. We were welcomed everywhere we went in the city. P.S. don't pay $10.00 for a slice of pizza in the FQ. The guy clearly told us we were messing up his hustle when we said no thanx 🤣

Its a wonderful, old, quirky space that has been updated and is totally functional and roomy. The location is perfect for access to the various neighborhoods in NOLA. Very close to good restaurants, short walk to the Quarter etc. The C unit is up three flights of stairs (which I missed in the pictures and description) which wasn't really a problem except we had one person in a "boot". Otherwise it was clean and safe, functional and historic. So all in all very nice.

We have been coming here for years and will continue for more to come. Peaceful, secluded and the best place to come for respite but only a short drive to New Orleans(if you want the hustle and bustle)..

My husand I enjoyed our stay. it was as described. I appreciated the privacy and it was close to where we wanted to be. Fatimah was responsive to questions and helped solve minor issues we had with some of the remote controls. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great stay away from crowed after going to Mardi Grass. The atmosphere was very pleasing. It's like 31 minutes from Bourbon street

We spent a month at Catie's cabin on the river and couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin is rustic and comfortable, not unlike something you would have been happy to find a generation ago, but absolutely modern with great wifi and cable TV. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, everything (and I mean everything) you might want. Very quiet on a dead-end road meaning there was no vehicle traffic. Just the occasional boat drifting by. Catie responded immediately if we had a question. This property is a real find and a bargain. We were delighted to find it.

One of the best hosts we have ever had! Annalea worked with me for check out for our activities and our pups. Awesome communication throughout! This place is truly a GEM with so many little touches full of character. The property is so well taken care of and she shared she is always making improvements, and you could really tell. Bay St. Louis Beach was so calm and clean, and my dogs loved it. Another great place to add to our favorites. Annalea, thank you so much again for making my Mother's Day weekend as perfect as possible. The girls and I look forward to staying with you again when we are back on the MS Gulf Coast!

Great place. The house is older and it’s been enjoyed for 20 years by outdoorsmen. Everything you could ever need to clean cook and eat the local fauna is there and it’s in a great spot.
