Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Orleans

It was wonderful staying at this air bnb. There is a shared porch and backyard with the other tenants in the other unit. They were all super nice and had great conversations when we saw them!

This is a fantastic space in the Bywater. Conveniently located to lots of entertainment. Walkable. Bathroom is fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

This place was exactly what we needed. It was close to public transportation if you don’t want to drive to the busier parts of the city. We walked to the bus stop and to eat breakfast and dinner. The area feels very safe. The home is spotless and very comfortable. It’s part of a duplex so there were times you could hear the people next door but it wasn’t loud or disturbing in any way. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at Jason's place in New Orleans. This 1920 house has been creatively re-invented into a luxury one bedroom apartment. It features immensely tall ceilings, and has been fantastically decorated with all sorts of interesting details and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would def stay again.

The house was extremely comfortable and a short uber to all tourist attractions.

Probably the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The sanctuary/pool was so well-equipped and we had such a great time relaxing at the end of sightseeing days. The inside was super cool as well, with tons of themed and thoughtful decorations. The Airbnb itself is very convenient to Magazine St, with tons of shops. Also very convenient to the stop for the hop on / off bus which we also used. We were nervous about not having a dedicated parking spot, but it ended up being totally fine with easy parking, and we were able to just park the car and forget about it, with cheap Ubers around $15 to get into the French quarter. Great stay all around !

Had a wonderful stay here! The hosts/hostesses were responsive and, while we did not have any issues during our stay, I'm sure they would have worked to swiftly address them. The location was awesome and within walking distance to a lot of great places, including the French Quarter, the WWII museum, the St. Charles Trolley line, and the riverwalk area. I felt safe at all hours of the day/night in the surrounding area, and the Airbnb itself was secure with the main door building lock and deadbolt/regular lock combo for the unit. The outside surroundings were a bit loud throughout all hours of the day, but that's to be expected with its close proximity to the French Quarter (i.e., we knew what we were signing up for when we booked this place, worth it for the close proximity to the French Quarter). Overall a wonderful stay and I would recommend this location to future visitors!

Would stay again! Steven was very helpful with instructions on check in, and we were able to store our bags early and after check out since we had a later flight. Could walk literally everywhere you would want from here! (We truly did) Everything was clean, and though we didn’t use all the amenities, they are nice to have. Neighborhood felt safe, even being directly across from the highway, we never felt uncomfortable walking around, even at night. There’s a restaurant across the st but we didn’t end up checking it out as we had other places in mind. It did get a bit noisy at times due to traffic/construction etc but that didn’t bother us too much, just keep in mind if you are looking for complete silence from the elements around you! Overall wonderful stay and would happily rent again!

The apartment was a perfect location for our planned activities in New Orleans. Jesse (& family) were welcoming and caring. The space was perfectly appointed and had every amenity one would need. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Little apartment was perfect for my visit with my Tulane student. Close to everything and lovely neighborhood. Only set back was the ongoing construction in the neighborhood which led to some noise and road closures. Parking would have been an issue but I was usually walking to where I needed to go so not a major set back. Appreciated the extra touches like the water and ample coffee and tea supplies! Would recommend for up to two people looking to visit local sites.

This space was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to New Orleans! Quiet, peaceful and beautiful-just outside of the hustle and bustle of bourbon street and the French quarter but not so far that these places were not accessible with a quick uber/Lyft or street car ride away! Layla was extremely responsive and accommodating when we encountered some unexpected itinerary/travel issues easing a bit of the stress at the time. I would absolutely recommend this bnb to anyone looking for a truly comfortable, nice and peaceful place to stay in such a busy place such as New Orleans! We will definitely be returning again.

We loved Tim’s place! I work in New Orleans often, and this is one of the most convenient and comfortable homes I’ve Airbnb’d. Tim was helpful and responsive and it’s clear that he puts a ton of work into making folks feel welcome in the crescent city.

We stayed for 3 days and overall an awesome experience! Beautiful home—cozy and spacious enough for our family of 4 that include two little boys who need room to roam freely. Everything was clean and provided, including shampoos and mouthwash which can’t always be found with other hosts. Wonderful parking in front of the place. Getting in and out was easy, had a nice little patio. It’s mosquito season so, of course they were bad, but nothing drastic. The only real issue we had was having internet problems with the TV—we were able to connect it the day we came in but later had to use our hotspot. Doris had mentioned they had just gotten a new system so it’d probably be a little funny. Honestly, wasn’t even that big of a deal and we simply appreciated their honesty and how well they communicated! Wouldn’t take longer than about 15 minutes to respond to a text, which is helpful. Great experience and hope to stay again.

I recently stayed at Erin’s 's apartment and had a fantastic experience. The place was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and attractions within few min of driving distance. Erin’s was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and stylish stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Michelle’s place was as advertised with lots of room, clean, relatively quiet for its location and a great Mediterranean restaurant right next door as an extra bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close location to the French Quarter but far enough away from the crowds.

Stayed at this property for a 4 person bachelorette party. Plenty of space, clean and bright. Comfortable beds. The pool was great for a relaxing day. Walkable restaurants and bars within 10-15 mins. The French Quarter is a 10-15 minute bus or Uber ride in. Highly recommend this location if you want access to the Quarter without the noise.

A perfectly appointed, spotless, HUGE apartment located steps away from the French Quarter. Safe and secure. Street noise at night so if you need perfectly quiet to sleep, that could be an issue but with earplugs, it was okay for us! Would stay and reccomend to anyone.

I enjoyed everything about my stay here the place was as described nice and clean. The host offered extra linens and covers I just loved everything about the place! They offer a pool & gym on site we didn’t have to drive far for anything & it was a quiet neighborhood

Nice and new condo. The surrounding area is a mixed bag depending which direction you walk in. Not much to walk to immediately nearby. My only concern was never hearing back from the host. I sent one message asking about a late check out prior to check in and it was radio silence. I saw it wasn’t booked after our stay so figured it couldn’t hurt to ask since we had late flights. Even if the answer is no I would have appreciated a response saying that. Other than that we loved the condo itself. It was a great deal especially during jazz fest.

This is a lovely spot in a great location, right on Magazine street in the heart of the Garden District. Walkable, with restaurants, coffee shops and sweet shady neighborhood streets showcasing New Orleans' architecture. The space itself was exactly like the photos - very stylish, comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Jo Ann was very accomodating, responsive and an excellent host. It was a fun stay for our first trip to NOLA and we're glad to have had the chance to experience it.
