Villa holiday rentals in Ooty

We stayed at the property from 03 May 2025 to 05 May 2025 The property has stunning views from the deck along the living room. It is an absolute delight to wake up in the mornings and observe the early morning sun, the morning views of the mountains and the chirping of the birds with a cup of tea. The property is accessible by car, and the host provided very clear directions to reach the property The caretaker at the property was super helpful and cooked some delicious food for us. She lived in a different part of the same property, hence there were no privacy concerns. The entire property is very clean. The bedsheets, the toilets, the kitchen and all the kitchenware were very neat and clean I have no hesitation in recommending the property to future guests

The stay at the villa was a unique colonial experience and this kicked in the moment we checked in. The rooms were huge and were tastefully decorated with period furniture reflecting the tastes of Rupali. Each piece reflected the warmth of the place and in sync was its experience that we were seeking. On a lighter vein searching for one another gave us 1k steps. The breakfast arrived piping hot and was very tasty. If there is one thing that we would like to improve is to add a cooking facility like an induction cooker or gas stove and also maybe put in a place for the drivers to board in for the night. All in all this has left us with a yearning and we will be back for sure

We recently stayed at Serenity Homestay in Kotagiri, and it truly lives up to its name. Surrounded by tea estates and vegetable farms, it's a peaceful escape from the hustle of Ooty and Coonoor. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures — clean, spacious, and cozy, with enough room for families and plenty of open space for kids and pets to play safely within the secure lawn. Mr. Murali, the host, was warm, cheerful, and always ready to help with local tips or anything we needed. He lives nearby and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The caretaker and cook, Priya, was equally wonderful — she prepared delicious South Indian meals and was always ready to assist us. She even set up a cozy campfire one evening, which made our trip even more memorable. With reliable Wi-Fi, two TVs, and thoughtful touches around the home, Serenity offers a perfect mix of comfort and nature. This has been one of our best Airbnb stays, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kotagiri.

It’s a superb place to stay. Prem was continuously guiding us on everything, specially the TN epass. Place was perfectly clean & had all amenities as mentioned on Airbnb. Caretaker was just a call away for any kind of support. Very comfortable & close to city centre yet peaceful & quiet. Highly recommended

The standout was the exceptional hospitality of our host, Mubashir, whose warm welcome, thoughtful gestures, and valuable local tips enriched our experience. The accommodations were immaculate, blending comfort and charm, and Mubashir’s evening campfire and barbecue under the stars was unforgettable. From exploring nearby attractions like Ooty Lake and the Botanical Gardens to relaxing at the retreat, every moment was memorable. This hilltop haven is perfect for couples, families, or anyone seeking peace and natural beauty. Mubashir’s care and attention made it a truly special stay. A place that felt like home away from home. I don't know where to start. It was that good. The host was very responsive, and the caretaker communicated with me a day before we checked in. The food was soooo good. The house was clean and very spacious. We felt so good about the ambience and everything as a whole. My friends and I stayed here for a day and felt like we should have stayed for one more day. This is just the first of all. Will my friends and I, or their family and friends, definitely come here?. Mist @ Tiverton Bungalow by StayVista A charming escape surrounded by misty hills! The ambiance was serene, and the views from the property were absolutely stunning. The caretaker ensured we had a comfortable stay. Would love to return during monsoon for the full experience.

My recent stay at Tiverton Bungalow was fantastic! The room was impeccably clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I especially enjoyed the [mention a specific positive feature like the pool, breakfast buffet, or view] and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ooty.

Superb location. Completely private and peaceful. Excellent valley views from the pool. Pool is not temperature controlled. But it was clean and maintained well. Reaching the place is only through their 4x4 jeep. Normal cars cant go there. It is totally off road for 15 mins drive. Cook and caretakers are present in the property. Breakfast is complimentary. But dinner is served on request. The food tasted so good. Fire place, Badminton court, and barbecue available. Reaching the uppatty village was challenging. Google maps showed wrong and dangerous off road routes. So ask locals and reach the village to park your vehicle in the owners place. From there they will take us to the property in jeep. Overall worth for money of we go in groups.

Hands down the best AirBnB that I have stayed in India. Every detail is so tastefully done that it accentuates the natural beauty that surrounds this place. No picture can do justice to the beauty of this location. Situated equidistant to both Conoor and Ooty, this place is ideal who want to cover both places in a span of 3-4 days. To top it all up, Simple is an extremely gracious and kind host. She provided us with all instructions and recommendations the moment we made the booking. She also helped us get in touch with a very nice driver who helped us in getting to the location from Coimbatore and local sightseeing. We were visiting to celebrate our Anniversary and she went above and beyond to arrange the best tasting cake for us despite all hassles. All in all, this Ooty & Conoor experience wouldn't have been 10% of what it was had it not been for Simple, Rakesh, and her staff. 11/10 and highly recommend. Cheers, M
