Family-friendly holiday rentals in Onsernone

The apartment was cozy, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen, in particular, offers many possibilities. The outdoor area is very well maintained and the view is breathtaking. Due to the fact that the apartment is located on a slope, the walk to the village is of course a bit exhausting, but still quite doable. Monika was quick to reach and always warm and helpful.

Luka is a very friendly and pleasant person. as soon as you arrive, he is there to welcome you and explain the entire stay in French or English. We only stayed one night but it was very nice... Thank you See you soon ✌️

Very spacious apartment with a lot of rooms, nice big balcony. The temperature of the apartment was comfortable, not to warm despite the temperature outside. The apartment is close to a few nice restaurants, the lakeside, a supermarket and gelatostore. It is also possible to cook yourself in the kitchen, there are enough utensils etc. We slept really well because the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. We were happy with the free parking spot in the garage. Decent pricing. We would definitely recommend.

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

The place was just as described: good location, clean and very, very spacious. We did our research before reserving Lisa's apartment, so we knew the place was walking distance to some events we had to attend that weekend. Lisa was extremely helpful, patient with us (we changed arrival time last minute) and flexible. The bathrooms were modern and clean, and so was the kitchen. Very spacious and with really high ceilings. It all went very smooth during our stay. A great asset to Airbnb.

The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.

A great house for large groups (8-10 people). Especially the huge living area with panoramic windows and the well-equipped kitchen were unbeatable. And of course the pool in the lower part of the wonderful garden. Many thanks to you, Sebastiano and Guido, we all felt very comfortable!

We were very warmly welcomed and super instructed. A wonderful place to unwind, right from the house you can hike wonderfully. The view on the lake is magnificent, for us with two dogs the location was perfect, everything easily accessible and yet completely relaxed. The equipment is great, from hot water bottle to lemon press, everything is available. We enjoyed the stay to the fullest, but unfortunately a week was much too short. 😁 Everything was tiptop!

Had a great stay at Olga's place, views and garden are spectacular and the house as listed so perfect for either a short or long stay. Olga was great at communicating. Steps down to the property are steep but doable with care. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great whilst we were there but under cover outside seating area and table helped with this. Would recommend 👍

A Hidden Gem on Lake Como – Unforgettable Stay at La Cava, Pognana Lario We spent 4 nights at La Cava in Pognana Lario, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This unique property, seemingly built around the 1960s, is unlike anything we've seen before. Anchored into the mountain itself with dramatic concrete beams and columns, the building has a bold architectural character that blends surprisingly well into the natural surroundings. It’s something you truly have to see to appreciate. The apartment itself carries a charming, historical vibe—perfect for those who appreciate classic design over ultra-modern aesthetics. It's well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. But the absolute highlight of the stay was the breathtaking view of Lake Como—an unbeatable panorama that alone is worth the trip. If you're looking for a place that offers tranquility, character, and unmatched views of Lake Como. Highly recommended!

Moreno warmly welcomed us and directly explained everything in the apartment and gave us tips for the area. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Between the apartment and the lake runs the "main street" which is a bit noisy, but you quickly get used to it. Supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car, as are small towns with beach promenades. You are very dependent on the car, but that did not necessarily bother us. Unfortunately, the WLAN is unreliable, it often fails, but that did not necessarily bother us. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed our time in Moreno's apartment.

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had an accommodation with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to fully enjoy the environment. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a baby bed... even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of little touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruits, yogurts, beers... And for those who like their peace, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, it would really be the icing on the cake. But otherwise, everything was great, a real little corner of paradise

We spontaneously decided to spend 2 nights in Ticino on the Pentecost weekend and came across Eva's apartment. Shortly before departure, we made the booking, and although so short notice, we quickly received a response from Eva that the apartment was ready when we arrived. We were then also warmly received by her personally and she showed us the apartment. We are a family with two small children and the apartment was perfect for such a short stay. Once again, many thanks to Eva!!

After you hike the small path trough the woods you get rewarded :-). Its about 30 min hike, so take all your things you need for couple of days. The place and view is unique, you will enjoy nature and mountain vibes at its purist. Enjoy day-hiking further up he mountains and you will be in the park. Host are very helpful and polite, we had some challenges ourselves but hosts super responsive. The hut is basic but nice and very functional, al works wel! Event making hot water with fire is easy to accomplish. So its an experience you won't forget. go for it

A real favorite for this house perched on the heights with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore, all in a peaceful and privileged setting. We were delighted with our stay, everything is there: comfort, space, view, amenities, everything you need is there. We didn't see our host but we could easily communicate with him. We will be happy to return to this little haven of peace.

Beautiful view and big apartment, i highly recommend

Friendly and helpful Paola was the perfect hostess. My sister and I were looking for peace and relaxation, and we really got it while sitting on the apartment balcony, surrounded by greenery and beauty, enjoying the magical evening sun. There is a lot to see and experience in the area. We returned home relaxed, with wonderful memories.

Absolutely LOVED staying at Anna's apartment! We adored Argegno - a lovely historic town that was much quieter than surrounding towns. Anna's apartment was spacious and the terrace and views were breathtaking. Anna was a wonderful host who was very quick to communicate. We would definitely stay again.

It was a very nice stay. We liked the location, the view of the lake and the beautiful pool very much. Only the parking spaces are a bit too small. Many thanks to Alberto, who is an excellent host.

Perfect place for our group of 2 couples. One bedroom large and the other small but had a bathroom each. Air conditioning was welcome as it was warmer than we were expecting. Very small, one person kitchen that had everything we needed. Amazing dining room in the tower and very special balcony where we had dinner each evening. A bonus for an airbnb was the included buffet breakfast in the hotel.

We had the most incredible stay at Villa Nila in Torno, Lake Como – it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, who was not only kind and gracious but went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Whether it was offering local recommendations, helping with transportation, or just checking in to ensure we were comfortable, their hospitality was heartfelt and exceptional. The villa itself is breathtaking – elegantly designed, immaculately clean, and positioned with the most stunning views of Lake Como. Waking up to the peaceful sound of the lake and enjoying breakfast on the terrace was like a dream. Every room was thoughtfully appointed with luxury touches, and the overall atmosphere was serene and private. We can’t recommend Villa Nila highly enough – it was one of the highlights of our trip, and we are already dreaming about coming back. Thank you again to our wonderful host, Nicola!

We made a stop here in transit. Elena and her family are very nice, friendly hosts. The property is very tastefully decorated. An extraordinary highlight is the piano in the apartment. The surrounding park and the view of Lake Maggiore are phenomenally beautiful! We'd love to come back, hopefully with more time next time!
