perfect place, perfect host

The surroundings with the view look very nice and the pools have delighted us. The path on foot from the village center is steep, with stairs faster but exhausting. But with very nice views. We loved the stay and the provider was accommodating with all the information we needed.

The house at the upper village of S. Abbondio is a very well-maintained, thoughtfully decorated private retreat that offers unique views of the lake, a pretty garden and spaces with all the necessary comforts and plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank the host family.

Very lovely chalet with a hot tub - right next to the train and very central. Breakfast in the morning sun, starry sky in the hotpot. Simply wonderful!

Serge proved to be an outstanding host, not only extremely friendly and likeable, but also extraordinarily helpful and always committed to our well-being. Right after our arrival, Serge took the time for a detailed house tour and gave us valuable insider tips for the area. His recommendations for restaurants where to dine well, as well as for interesting activities and worth seeing excursions were helpful. The view from the property was breathtaking. A special highlight was the hot tub, which was just the place to relax after an eventful day. We are sure this was not our last visit with Serge and in his fantastic accommodation. We can fully recommend this place and Serge as a host!

Everything tiptop. Place was very nice, super equipped and very clean. The bakery is just a stone's throw away, so we always had fresh bread for breakfast. Alfred was very accommodating, helpful and flexible, we will be happy to come back.

Very cozy accommodation in the Vercasca Valley. If you like it quiet and secluded, you've come to the right place. The property is equipped with everything necessary. It is worth shopping ahead, including firewood. Very recommended.

You were so pleasantly surprised that what a clean beautiful spacious apartment this was. And that there was free parking. It’s very close to the Lido and a fabulous saltwater spa in town. Locarno, is a nice smallish town. Easy to get around. You must take some boat trips on the ferries, even if you just ride them from place to place.

Simona’s place was very comfortable and cosy it has everything you need and it is a very quiet and peaceful place with a beautiful garden and a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

We stayed for 3 nights in Michael's beautiful and charming villa. We felt very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. The view is fantastic and the pool is wonderful. We received answers to our questions within a short time. We are thrilled and would immediately go on vacation again in this great villa. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Michael's house with three more friends. We loved the charm of the house. There was everything you need. The view is breathtaking and the area is a dream. You can do a lot or just spend the day in the garden/pool and fire up the grill. As a small note : Michael's sister lives on the top floor of the house and in the annex. You share a piece of staircase. But that didn't bother you at all because you have the rest of the house and the garden completely to yourself. We were very pleased and highly recommend it.

Great location, quiet away from crowds and great location for exploring the area. Lake access is immediate.

we had a fantastic time. interaction with interhome and the local keyholder is never easy because communication with keyholder is not done with the airbnb app but usually with external e-mail or phone (so you communicate with interhome agent trough the app; and parallel you try to establish contact with local keyholder through other channels). check in once connection is established works well. payment of local tax is not organized and the work in order to pay it is passed on the guest - local taxes should be included in the air bnb fee.... appartement perfect. location perfect we had a wonderful spring holiday in locarno. kind regards christian

Very nice surroundings and a perfect garden to relax. No complaints except for the kitchen. The kitchen is a bit small for 8 people to cook. But it's doable.

Our time at Casa Lucertola was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Especially the view from the bedroom into the beautiful Verzasca Valley appealed to us - simply paradise.
