We had a fantastic anniversary getaway at Happy Goat Retreat and stayed in Good Smoke! The tiny home is beautifully designed with a modern touch and luxury amenities that made our stay special. The rooftop deck offers stunning views, and we loved having our own Kamado BBQ smoker for grilling. The stocked ponds and the adorable goats added a unique charm to the experience. While our TV didn’t work, and the pool water was too warm to swim in, these were minor inconveniences in what was otherwise a perfect retreat. The overall ambiance and thoughtful details more than made up for it. Highly recommend for a romantic escape!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful home. The property was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We truly enjoyed all the amenities the home had to offer, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Our hosts were also fantastic—very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. This was a great stay from start to finish, and we would absolutely return again!

The stay at Robert’s place was perfect. We will definitely book again when we need accommodations. The home is very well maintained, clean and had everything that we needed. The area was awesome with great water views and lots of wildlife. We enjoyed watching the deer walking around and eating everyday. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

5 Stars – A Perfect Lakeside Getaway! We had an amazing stay at Williams’ Airbnb on the lake! The views were absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of the water and sky. The space itself was very cozy but also surprisingly roomy, with more than enough space to relax comfortably. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and you can tell the hosts really take pride in keeping the place clean and welcoming. One of our favorite features was the pool—it was perfect for hanging out in the hot sun, and it really added to the vacation vibe. The location was ideal too. Everything we needed—shops, restaurants, and activities—was just a short drive away, which made things super convenient. We’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat! Host was super responsive and very friendly! Thanks for everything!

We absolutely loved this place! It didn’t feel like we were staying at a typical airbnb - it felt like we were staying at our most thoughtful and stylish friend’s house. Everything was labeled for easy access, and the nightlights (!!!) were a great touch, especially since we were there with smaller kids. Everything was clean and very well-maintained. The location was perfect and so quiet. If we are ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay here another time. Thanks Amanda and Mark for a great experience - you guys knocked it out of the park with this one!

Such a beautiful lake home! It was exactly what I needed for my vacation, safe gated community, access to a dock, everything I needed basics wise. Super pretty views and stay! Thank you!

This was a last minute get away and everything was perfect! This place is amazing and everything was thought of by the owners including a playpen and highchair for the baby!

Jennifer was great! She responded promptly, and was even accommodating for a slightly earlier check-in. The house is in a great location. It was the perfect house for my group. If I'm ever back in the area (which is very likely) I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was nice and clean and we had everything we would need away from home. The home had a great patio that backed up to the national forest and there was a park like swing area to the side that the kids loved. The home was located close to campus which made drop off at volleyball camp super quick and easy! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location with an amazing view of the lake! Our kid's loved the game room and the rope swing. We had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. I highly recommend Betsy's place if you are in the area and want a peaceful retreat to enjoy!

We had the BEST time at Stargazer Ranch. I wanted a peaceful place where my kiddos could run free and really be kids and not get bored and we got just that! We fished, made smores in the fire pit at night uner the stars, loved on the cows, played on the trampoline and swings, enjoyed the hot tub and did lots of bird watching! My kids never once got bored and left behind their screens to dig for worms and play outdoors in nature. :-) Danielle was an amazing host. Super responsive and kind. The house was fully equipped with everything you'd need. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. We can't wait to return one day! 10/10

Amazing place. This was a chance for me to unwind in nature and work on my business and it was exactly what I wanted. You have the sounds of nature, you have a nice patio, and you really are alone by yourself. It is highly recommended for a romantic weekend or just a way to get away. Be aware-I brought lots of bug spray. Just put some on yourself every three hours and you’ll be good. I love the additional touch with the Keurig coffee machine, and the snacks on the counter. They even had water bottles, which was really nice!

What a comfortable , quiet and fantastic place to stay with great views of the Lake and Golf Course! The house had a great layout, comfortable bed, and was very clean and uncluttered. Everything was in the unit was in working order, and coffee supplies were provided. I loved my stay here, and will definitely book again!

House was perfect for a lake trip room for cozy and comfy. One of the better parts of the house was the party barn to hang out and Cook. The boat slip had an extra spot to dock your boat plus private boat ramp.

Had a nice stay, house was clean and settup well. I am in the are alot so i will stay here when it is not booked up.

We were traveling with 5 kids and wanted a house to keep them busy - this place DID NOT disappoint! My littlest two were so excited to find Legos and Barbies downstairs! We had endless Ping Pong tournaments! And the star of the show?? The rope swing on the dock! I can’t think of the last time they had so much fun! I’m talking hours upon hours of swinging into the lake. We caught lots of fish as well - both big and small. The hosts seem to have thought of everything that you might need for a vacay on the lake. There were floats for the water, fishing gear, life jackets, and of course kayaks. The house itself was also well stocked and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, yet busy, few days in Texas. We come to this area often, and my kids have already asked if we can rent this again! 5 STARS!

So much room! Wonderful kitchen to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Be prepared to bring your own paper products and anything you’ll need for cooking beyond salt and pepper. Wonderful dishes, mugs and glassware. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the big dock for fishing and getting in and out of our kayaks. The yard is nice and big and the fire pot was enjoyable. The garage apartment worked perfectly for our overnight guests. We can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great stay at Rocking D Ranch! It felt like being at home—the house was super clean and outfitted with everything we needed (especially the stocked kitchen). Dana was incredibly flexible when we asked to extend our stay on really short notice, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful, spacious stay.
