Outside, there is plenty more to do with lawn games, and a lake right out the back door and next to a boat launch. And, if you'd like a change in scenery, Livingston is just a 10 minute drive away.

Quiet country setting nestled in the trees. Enjoy your stay in our 2018 modern cabin on 30 acres in the piney woods. Sip your favorite beverage rocking on the enormous porch while your steaks are cooking on the grill. At night you can gather around the lower fire pit and stargaze. It is unlikely you will encounter anyone unless you venture out for walk down to one of the neighboring farms. The cottage has super high speed internet. Make video calls without buffering.

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. House was perfect for a lake trip room for cozy and comfy. One of the better parts of the house was the party barn to hang out and Cook. The boat slip had an extra spot to dock your boat plus private boat ramp.

Our family had the best time! Although it rained our first afternoon there, the upstairs nook was so amazing to sit and read and watch the storm roll in. My kiddos loved getting to go fishing and I appreciated all of the items provided so they could do so. We had plenty of space for our family and the host was very detailed in making sure the home was stocked with things you all the things you might need. Would definitely stay here again!

We were in Livingston for a wedding. We decided to stay here because it was close by and got great reviews. 100% happy with our decision! Jennifer was very accommodating and it was a perfect stay. While there, there was a tornado warning and the owners came over to let us know and to make sure we were set for dinner. Once again, we made a great choice staying here.

Taking a weekend away from city life to stay at Joe’s place was great! The area is quiet and peaceful. Hot tub and deck were a nice place to sit out and relax. One thing we did not realize was the proximity of the rental to the owners home. Owner’s home is very close. Owner is not always around but was during our visit. He also has a dog of his own, in case you are bringing pets. There was a private entrance and gated yard that is shared with the main house. Neighborhood was somewhat secluded and very quiet. Host was very friendly and took extra care to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.
