Lake house holiday rentals in Old Forge

The place is great! Very cozy spot on the water. Very neat and clean, and everything was it should be. Its set back in the neighborhood a bit, so if you want to walk into town, its a bit of a hike. Would highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about our stay! The hosts were awesome to deal with...always accommodating and available, the location was perfect...right on the water/ice, the residence exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. The location is perfect with a short walk to exceptional fishing. No need to scramble trying to find parking...its all right there for you. We enjoyed a weekend of ice fishing with family and friends and definitely plan on coming back this year. On a scale of 1 to 10...this is an 11! Highly recommend!

Sweet Adeline Lakehouse has everything! We were looking for a peaceful stay to admire the fall foliage and get away from our high-pressure jobs for a week. This well-appointed lake house met all our needs, with an elevated deck, private dock, kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, and great location near tons of hikes, breweries, and sleepy country backroads. We enjoyed the sunset over the lake, hiked up a mountain for amazing views, and were able to see a comet! The hosts provided excellent instructions and were highly responsive. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake as our yearly family getaway. We had age ranges from 1 to 65 and was great for all ages. The screened in porches are nice to enjoy the lake view. House had all supplies and amenities that we needed for our visit.

The house and Kurt were great. Everyone in our group was able to get their own bed. Drive to Turning Stone for golf and the casino was very easy.

Kim's place on Oneida Lake was fabulous. The house was everything advertised. Check-in was very easy as was Check-out. The house was very spacious for our 10-man reunion. The house was very clean, well-supplied toiletries, and many cooking utensils. The lake view was gorgeous each evening and the closed in porch was perfect for meals and hanging out. If the highest rating is a "10", Kim's place gets a "10+". I would highly recommend this house to and vacation goer!!!!!!!!

My family and I stayed at the lake house for the weekend and we will def be back! The house was exactly as pictured. Very clean, beautifully decorated, nearby restaurants, quiet and cozy neighborhood, you can easily go on a nice walk by the lake we have nothing but good things to say. We really enjoyed all the games they had in one of the bedrooms. We spent a whole night just playing games :) Host was very nice and responsive. If you decide to stay we recommend going to Harpoon Eddies to eat. It was delicious!! The host provided a book with lots of recommendations for restaurants/activities in the area - that was greatly appreciated!

Was a great location, close to everything we wanted to do, 10-15 mins from golf courses, 10-15 mins from casino. Backyard was just big enough for lawn games/activities, hard to beat being right on the water for the price

This was a beautiful place! The rooms are all so nice and spacious. The house was very clean and the hosts were amazing and very friendly when we had questions. We would highly recommend this place for a nice and relaxing vacation!

Staying at Brandon and Corey's place was like the definition of the best AirBnB can be. The house is cozy and beautiful, and we found it totally decorated for the Christmas season and perfect for our party of 6. It's the level of thoughtfulness that made our stay special. 'Emergency' amenities laid out in the bedroom just in case; a kitchen that is very well equipped, well-designed and highly functional; coffee supplies laid out and ready for the morning; a binder of local recommendations, etc. etc. Brandon's communications were also fantastic. He reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed and set a very relaxed and welcoming tone. It is no mystery why he and Corey are super hosts! Thank you, Brandon and Corey, for setting the bar for what other properties/owners can be!!

We had another wonderful stay at the Dollhouse. The weather was perfect and the hiking (which includes a great hike from the front door) was amazing. The sunsets on the back porch were delightful. Evenings in front of the fireplace were a great way to end the day. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The Dollhouse worked perfect for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their visit. Virginia is an exceptional and responsive host. We had a problem with the internet, and she responded immediately and solved the problem. We plan to be back again next year.

It was the perfect location between the ski lodges: Snow Ridge and McCauley Mtn. The rooms were cozy and the kitchen was the perfect size for cooking dinners.

Our stay at Grants Island was just what we needed for a little family getaway! The weather complied, the lake and views from the dock were amazing. The use of the pontoon made for good fishing but even better fishing right off the dock! John was more than accommodating with our needs and communication was easy. The cabin fit 5 of us just fine and everyone enjoyed themselves. The local restaurant had great food and drinks!

Great place in Old Forge. Walkable to everything. Totally exceeded our expectations. Ryan was a great host. We will definitely stay at Camp Rosie again!

We had a great week - great location for kayaking, hiking, and otherwise enjoying the beautiful area. We really appreciated the access to kayaks - this was a key point in booking this location, and the lake was beautiful. The kitchen, and the house as a whole, had everything we needed. We loved having breakfast on the porch. Nice being a stone's throw from Speculator for groceries and anything else we needed to pick up. Lisa and Don responded promptly on the few occasions we had questions about anything.

Exactly what you would want from a lakehouse Airbnb. The home was just about as Adirondack-y as it gets. Modern home mixed with a rustic lakehouse! Greg had kayaks, a peddleboat, a canoe, plenty of chairs for fire-sitting, spacious dock, propane grill and everything was exactly as advertised. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at Caleb's place was nothing short of amazing. Caleb was very responsive to every message I sent and even offered early check in. The house was completely stocked with SO many extra things you may forget to bring and the everyday necessities. The house was extremely clean and very spacious for two families. The neighborhood is peaceful and kid friendly. The two private beaches were not crowded and perfect for our boys to fish, swim and float in the lake! We would not think twice about booking with Caleb again in the future!

Beautiful place, felt comfortable and right at home. Kitchen was fully furnished with all necessary essentials (cooking, baking, coffee, seasoning, etc.) We thoroughly enjoyed swimming off the dock and hanging out on the boathouse deck. Kids loved the playroom/bar area with all sorts of board games. Jason was very quick to respond to any questions. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Tim's house was great. Tim was a joy to deal with and the house has a ton of space and the views of the lake were terrific. It rained all weekend but we still had a good time. Restaurant's and store within walking distance. Thanks again Tim.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved having access to the lake with docks, canoes, and kayaks. House was exactly has it appeared in the listing. It was also nice having the washer/dryer right off the kitchen.

My group had amazing time at this cabin. Beautiful location on the water with a huge new deck over looking it. My cousin camping trip was wonderful here. We had a group of 15 and had plenty of space. Beds were so comfortable and cabin was stocked up perfectly. My group will definitely be returning.
