Fuchsia Tree Cottage - relaxing, cosy, intimate.

Fuchsia Tree Cottage is a quaint one bedroom cottage with a sleep out that is 1m from the cottage door. It’s a lovely space for a couple or a small family, particularly in winter. In summer it’s a great space for larger groups as it can actually sleep 11, this is not recommended in winter. We have an outdoor toilet/shower on back deck. A stunning view is a short walk up the section, beautiful for sundowners and morning coffee, (not seen from lounge of cotttage) & a 3 minute walk to the lake.

Beachfront.. 947m site with lawn across to sandy beach for several kms. Great location to relax, take a swim, surf, stroll or catch a fish at your front door. This is as good as it gets beach bach and memory maker. Relax with the family or up to two couples in two double bedrooms. Extra mattress available for children. During winter light the fire, during summer light the BBQ... either way relax & watch the sunrise and set from the perfect northerly aspect. Boat parking available onsite.

The Penthouse Studio at Lake Tarawera

This spacious studio apartment is set in native bush at Lake Tarawera, at the back of a lake-front property. However, it does have great views of the lake. It has one main room which includes a kitchen area, a dining room table, a lounge and beds and there's a separate bathroom. It is accessed up a flight of stairs with a laundry for use downstairs. Wifi is available. There is an outdoor patio, with comfortable furniture, sun umbrella and magnificent views across the lake to the mountain.

Colleen's Cottage

One room up, queen bed, smart TV, ensuite. Room downstairs, full bathroom, laundry, no dryer but a clothesline on the back deck, books to read everywhere. Full kitchen, best view of the street. Should anything break, please leave me a note or text me. Small desk ND printer available. A Heat pump has been installed for your comfort. The remote is handy just inside the door. Press on and wait a few minutes while it heats up. It has been set at a pleasant setting. Text me if you are unhappy.

Suitable for family groups wanting spend time together or groups of friends wanting to catch up. Busy times between December & March & long weekends, prioritory will be given to longer bookings, particularly for January which will be 5 nights or more.

Kawerau is easy driving distance to Lake Rotoma, Rotorua, Tauranga Whakatane and Opotiki for sightseeing or outdoor activities.
