Holiday rentals with a patio in Ocean Beach, San Diego

Perfect spot for dogs! My pup loved the private patio area where he could easily go inside and out the house. Dog friendly neighborhood/town! Very clean, comfortable, cozy with restaurants and little cafes nearly on every corner. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful stay! Exactly as described with all amenities! We utilized the bikes a lot to get around the beaches! It was lovely and I will certainly remember the spot if we’re in the area again and recommend to friends! Thank you again Rex!!!

Angels place was a little rough to find at first, but it's a great little oasis in SD on the bay side. Responsive host and good amenities. Great to have chairs and blanket for the beach...beach towels would've been a nice touch. Overall, good experience in a nice centrally located place.

I enjoyed my quick stay here! As others have described, it’s quite small but I found it a good size for a solo traveler and would do for a couple. A nice feature to have the kitchen and outdoor space, although I didn’t find myself using either as I was out and about all day exploring SD! The place was clean, the ocean beach location is fun and quirky. Walkable to dog beach which was the best! It’s a noisy area with flyover from plane and walls are thin so I was able to hear neighbors very quickly. Wouldn’t be a great fit for those who are noise sensitive, but I slept well with ear plugs! Overall, fair value for the area, clean albeit minimalist listing! I’d stay again.

We loved this place. even though it was cloudy and windy, the porch was our favorite place to be! We watched Sea Lions, seagulls, pelicans and surfers during our morning coffee and dusk wine sunsets. Location was also great, within 15 to 20 minutes we were able to explore so much during the 3 days we were there. If you can only do a couple of things I suggest spending a couple of hours at the Cabrillo National Monument $20 valid for 7 days, you can hike, visit the monument, light house, tide pools, visitor center, The view is spectacular! Then head to Old Town and ride the 2 hours trolley - hop on and hop off or enjoy the full ride. Mexican food galore or stop by Little Italy for some yummy pizza! It was our first time in San Diego, but we will be back for sure, and hopefully Rick's place will be available! also a bonus, you get to use the garage!

I really enjoyed the stay. It's a great listing. It's very clean and spacious. I highly recommend it. I will keep it in mind when I visit San Diego next time.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

This house was great for my family. Right across the street from a park so my little ones enjoyed the easy access to burn off some energy. It’s walking distance to some great restaurants and the beach, and a short drive to the Zoo. The Host’s made communication easy and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Overall had a great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Casa Lotus. Comfy and well-appointed, the house has everything you need in the kitchen and bath. My only additions would be a box of tissues and a bathroom fan. The linens and towels were of excellent quality, though there was only one washcloth. I’m sure if I had inquired, Amir would have provided one. He was extremely responsive any time I reached out. We enjoyed the outdoor space with hammock, fire pit and supply of wood. I would absolutely recommend Amir as a host and Casa Lotus as a destination in Ocean Beach.

This place was great for a girls weekend. Shops and restaurants right across the street. Main busy street of Ocean Beach and the beach itself was a 10 min walk. Ramona was super nice and accommodating. The pull out sofa in one of the bedrooms was very uncomfortable for one of the guests though so they ended up sleeping on the couch which was better. Would stay here again and again!

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

This was our second stay at this property. It was so great the first visit, we wanted to stay here again. The location is amazing! So close to Liberty Station, which has great restaurants, bars and shopping. Also a short drive to Little Italy. The property is dog friendly, and our 2 German Shepherds loved it! The yard wraps around the house and is fully fenced and safe for dogs. It's a very nice and clean casita set back from the main house, so there is a lot of privacy. The hosts are always very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

Michael's place was as advertised! Everything was perfect. I would recommend this spot to any friends wanting to enjoy the Ocean Beach area.

For us, location was key. We easily walked everywhere, to the beach, downtown, food co-op and every restaurant. The garage with ping pong and foosball was fun for the whole family. We even got a free fireworks display from Sea World (highly recommend this experience)! Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic stay! Took me about 4 minutes to reach the sand with toddlers in tow and tons of restaurants within 10 minutes or less walk. If you will have a car the parking space alone should be priority for you in this area as street parking fills up with beach goers, Celeste has ample parking on property! Easy drive to other visits like Padres stadium, Zoo, Balboa park and La Jolla. The place was well equipped (more than your standard Airbnb) and very clean. The back patio and front deck are awesome additional spaces! Celeste was so helpful and nice. If you’re searching for a San Diego stay consider your search done and pick this one!

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Our stay in San Diego was truly memorable, thanks in large part to this fantastic condo. Its central location made it easy to explore everything the city has to offer—SeaWorld, the zoo, museums, Liberty Station, and the beaches—all just a short drive away. One of the highlights for our two-year-old was watching planes take off and land nearby, which added an extra layer of excitement to our trip. The condo was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in it truly made us feel at home. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again—thank you for a wonderful experience!

Amazing stay for me and my boyfriend! The location is central enough to everything we wanted to do and see here in sd. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed! Instructions are listed clearly and communication with Nick was always quick n reliable! There’s some pretty significant construction out in front of the building, so street parking was a bit tricky since the parking space provided in the garage couldn’t accommodate our truck - but that was just a minor inconvenience for our ginormous rental lol.

location was perfect. peaceful. close to beach and shops. liked the layout of apartment. spacious not cluttered. easy to maintain.. appreciated having free netflix and amazon prime. .Lastly Cassandra, generous host. allowed extra time for checkout.

This is our second time staying at Niloofar’s Airbnb and it was, again, a fantastic experience. It is a great location within walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and shops nearby. The Airbnb is clean, matches the photos exactly, and was the perfect base camp for a family of four. Niloofar was also extremely responsive; after an initial mixup she immediately made sure we had a pack n’ play for our son. Everything about our stay was great; we can’t say enough about this location and host—we hope to be back soon!!

Great and beautiful place! So close to the beach! Had all the amenities except a kitchen sponge for dishes. The cleaning crew came a day before check out, which was a little uncomfortable.. but overall the location and place were great and the host was so nice and responsive!
