Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ocean Beach, San Diego

Loved my 2 week stay here. Walked every day at the beach which was barely a block away. Comfortable home. Aaron was very relaxed and super communicative. Loved that I parked my car when I arrived and didn’t get back in it until the day I left.

This is the second time we stayed here.  That says it all !!!  We wouldn't have come back if we hadn't loved it.  Has all you could want -- fully equipped kitchen, private outdoor spaces, comfortable beds and furniture, off street parking, close to all OB has to offer.  Adam was quick to respond when we had a question.

Great location and very well kept. Beach bungalow/ cabin vibe. Walking distance to anything and everything around Ocean Beach, which is so fun and lively but still peaceful! The cliffs down the road are a bit dangerous and windy but with the right shoes, so worth the views. We didn’t realize the hot tub was shared with 2 other units on the property but we got lucky and had no trouble using it when others weren’t and barely noticed our neighbors- they were very quiet. Owners were great and responded within seconds!

We loved this place! Perfect space for our family of 3. Close to tons of restaurants and an easy walk to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the place was very clean. Comfortable beds, too! We enjoyed the board games they had as well! Hope to stay there again in the future.

My Uncle passed and Dominic’s bungalow was one street away from the celebration of Life. Had a somber but peaceful And Happy stay.

Great stay, felt very safe and at home. So much to do at a walkable distance, very close to the beach, 10/10 would definitely stay again. Albert was awesome, proactive at check-in, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Jennifer and Chris’s place was truly a gem! The listing was spot on- accurate photos and description, and the space was spotless upon arrival. Jennifer and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay, including towels, a cooler for beach days, cleaning supplies, and plenty of toiletries. The location couldn’t have been better- we were able to easily walk to restaurants, Target, and the beach. One of our favorite features was the private driveway, which made parking stress-free (a huge plus in San Diego!). This was the perfect place for my friend and me on our first visit to SD. It felt safe, clean, and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend- thank you, Jennifer and Chris!

Lori’s place was wonderful to stay at, just as described! Very private and walkable to many restaurants as well as the beach. Lori was very communicative before and during our stay. Everything was spotless and the amenities were amazing. The beds are so comfortable, kitchen and living room are spacious. Great place for us to have as home base while exploring California. The parking spot was great. She was so thoughtful, we loved the keyless entry, book of recommendations, and flexibility with arrival/departure. Thank you so much Lori, we hope to be back soon!!

Very clean and comfortable space. Bed was comfy and we really liked the space!

We really loved staying here. it was sooo close to the beach and awesome coffee shops. We will most definitely stay again!!!!

JB and Ana were great hosts and were wonderfully accommodating. This was a great private room in a very convenient location. I was definitely satisfied with my experience, especially the ease of check-in/out.

Kai and Bev were lovely hosts, so kind, accommodating and communicative. The home was nice, with free bikes to use which was a great addition. Overall would definitely recommend this place! Thank you for your hospitality

Great stay for 4 nights! Safe, secluded, quiet neighborhood. A little further out than where we last stayed in OB, but we didn't mind and the area is still extremely walk able. We appreciated being checked on (via message), but nothing extra was needed -- we had everything! Make sure to check out the Farmer's Market on Wednesday's and Hungry Lu's (down the block). Thanks so much, we will be back!

Perfect little hidden gem. Easy one block walk to the beach. Not far from downtown OB and all the restaurants. Rental unit was amazing and included a garage. Unit had every amenity needed. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely rent again.

Tiny but very comfortable beach spot! Feels very private and safe and I loved the little carriage house doors that open to the parking spot. No kitchen and limited storage so this is better for a short stay which was perfect for us. 15-20min walk to downtown OB, we did not need to drive at all! Thank you :)

This is the prefect place for a little getaway. It was clean and had the perfect location. We literally walked to the beach. They had chairs, umbrellas, and towels to use at the beach as well. The host was very responsive and the parking spot was a huge plus. Definitely recommend booking here. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

My daughter and I spent time here in a girls trip. The condo was gorgeous inside and the view was incredible. It was so peaceful to listen to the waves crash as I fell asleep. We hope to be back!

The kids and I really liked the house. Great neighborhood and location! I really appreciate that the hosts sent us check-in information well ahead of our stay; it's way less stressful than waiting until an hour before check-in like some hosts do.

Stayed for a weekend and wished it was longer! The location was absolutely fantastic. A short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, and some fun shops. Very quick drive to SD Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World. The parking was a little tricky and if you have anything larger than a sedan it would be difficult to navigate, but there seemed to be street parking available often and we didn't end up moving the car much since the neighborhood was so walkable! House was just as cute as the photos and the couch was super comfortable!

Great location! Property was a little smaller than anticipated, but the deck and patio made up for it. Would recommend this property and stay again.

We had a great stay! loved the patio and being able to enjoy a view of the ocean. walkable to resteraunts and shopping and having a dedicated parking spot is great! Would definitely recommend staying !

We greatly enjoyed staying at this beautiful place. It’s right on the beach with one minute of walk to the sand. It’s also close to a great selection of restaurants and stores. A Target and a grocery store are just 5 minutes of walk away. The inside of the house is exceptionally clean and well decorated. The towels are clean and plenty to use. The washers, dryers and coffee machines are all ready to use, very convenient!
