Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Oban

Mark greeted me with a smile and showed me around. Having my own sitting room with TV, tea/coffee and small communal fridge to help myself and store my food. My quaint bed room was very large & bed comfortable. My own bathroom had a large bath and individually heated. Anne's dedication to ensuring her visitors have a positive experience was very much appreciated. I felt like I was at home. 35 yrs in the Air BnB industry is a testament to their passion. I wish them all the best .💓

Margret und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich! Wir konnten uns gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Die Unterkunft einfach, aber sauber.

It was a fantastic couple of nights away. Full B&B service with a wonderful host. Very close to the beach and not too far away from Oban. Would 100% recommend this home to stay, whether for one person or a whole group.

Anne nous a réservé un très bon accueil à notre arrivée (polie, le sourire et quelques mots de français). Sa petite maison est charmante, avec en prime des attentions pour ses locataires (pain frais, confiture, beurre, fromage...). J'étais un peu effrayé par la circulation pour sortir et entrer dans la propriété. Mais comme les écossais sont beaucoup plus courtois et patients au volant que les français : tout s'est bien passé 😅. Un dernier mot pour préciser que le logement était super propre. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful appartement. Erin & B were very kind and welcoming and made us feel at home. They gave a lot of good tips on what to do in the neighbourhood, and are friendly hosts who are very open to meeting new people! The room itself was comfy, and all the facilities needed are there. All in all a great place to stay!

Huone oli rauhallinen ja viityisästi sisustettu. Oma suihku/wc käytävällä oli suuri ja kaikki toimi moitteettomasti. Aamiainen oli runsas ja monipuolinen. Ann neuvoi mukavia kävelyreittejä ympäristössä. Käveleminen kohteeseen (n. 20-25min) vaatii hyvää kuntoa, mutta maisemat ovat hienot. Majoitus oli todella erinomainen.

Stuart ist äusserst freundlich und hat viele Tipps für Stirling parat. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr lecker. Wir waren extrem zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Danke Stuart! ☺️

Melanie’s place is beautiful - a stunning historic Croft that’s been lovingly restored with amazing attention-to-detail. The original features are complemented with minimalistic yet quirky design elements, that give a unique yet cosy feel. You can really tell that Melanie has an eye for design; it’s such a well-thought-out place to stay. We loved the room, which even had a view of the loch. Melanie was a really warm and hospitable host; welcoming us with coffee and a chat, but being equally happy to give us space to relax in front of the fire. She is very into yoga and wellness, so if those are your thing, this is the place for you! It is worth noting that there is a cat and a dog - the dog was very friendly and did scratch at our bedroom door in the evening, and woke us up being quite chatty at about half past five. Great for animal lovers, but worth knowing in advance if you have allergies or phobias.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and it was a truly memorable experience. The location was peaceful, the surroundings were stunning, and the home itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming throughout the booking and stay. They clearly care about their guests and the property, and it shows in every detail. Rosemarie und Donald waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben alles dafür getan, dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Gerne kommen wir zurück und schauen auf einen Aufenthalt auf Islay zurück, bei dem die Unterkunft die schöne Insel perfekt gemacht hat.

Absolutely fabulous and great value for money. Welcoming hosts and full of useful advice for our ongoing travel around Scotland. The surroundings are breathtaking and the food we had was beautiful. Such good value for money. Roland was even kind enough to lend us his kayak to go exploring. We had a wonderful time, thank you to you both.

Our stay was fantastic. The house was perfect! Warm, airy and great views! The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Loved seeing the sheep and often a highland cow walk past! It was a quiet location but easy to get to lots of great spots on the island. The local beach a 15 min walk away was a delight and the Calgary beach only 20 mins drive away was beautiful. Beccy was super helpful from the moment of booking and during our stay. Highly recommend Beccy’s place and the location. Would definitely like to visit again! 🌸

Karen is a wonderful host and her house quite stunning with fantastic views and very tastefully decorated. Our room was large and very comfortable..light and airy. We had many and varied conversations over a lovely breakfast. I cannot recommend more highly and would return tomorrow if I could!

We can see why Laura is a Superhost. She reached out to us the day before check-in to see if we had any questions and to offer suggestions for places to dine upon our arrival. When we arrived she was there to greet us and to acquaint us with the accomodations. Her place is comfortable and inviting, located in a peaceful scenic setting, yet close to what the city has to offer. After we enjoyed a good night's rest, Laura served us a delicious breakfast in time for us to depart to the airport.

What a perfect little stop! The room was clean, larger than expected, and otherwise exactly as described. We even had a lovely view of the marina and Dunstaffnage castle. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. It’s a few short minutes out of Oban, and we loved getting out of the tourist bustle. The restaurant was clean and well-appointed, the hosts were clear and friendly, and overall everything was great.

Good deal and excellent service. They let us check in early and we enjoyed the lovely space outside! Super convenient to restaurants and the WHW.

Ended up arriving later then anticipated, great communication everything was perfect for when we got there. The room and bathroom were immaculate with gorgeous welcoming communal lounge warm and comfortable with access to everything we needed. Breakfast was sublime including the continental Buffett very high quality produce hosts very welcoming and attentive. This please represents excellent value for money, couldn’t fault anything about this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Laura and Castlecroft B&B were a welcomed rest after a long travel day. Laura greeted us and gave us a quick tour and let us get settled in after arriving later than expected. She pointed us to a wonderful dinner spot and the next morning we had the best breakfast! We also came with our toddler and Laura made her feel right at home. Highly recommend Laura and the Castlecroft for a stay!

I had to get used to the new style of B&B nowadays in Scotland. You get everything but a breakfast. This is quite useful, if you like to do some walks that are taking some hours and you don't like to wait for a normal breakfast time to start your walk. Staying with Robert was great, as you have a lot of space. A big kitchen for your own style of breakfast, a living room to meet other guest. Thanks a lot, we would love to come again.

Ottimo alloggio per una notte. Host super gentile e disponibile. Alloggio facile da trovare con le indicazioni fornite. Camera con bagno privato. Camera e bagno piccolini ma noi avendo solo trolley piccolo e zaini piccoli siamo stati abbastanza bene. Ottima la colazione.
