Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nottely Lake

Such a perfect and private place to celebrate my 30th birthday with my loved ones. The home has a great layout for a girls trip and so many sweet spots to hang out on the porch. The location is also amazing for nature adventures!

The pictures do not do this place justice. This is by far the most well stocked Airbnb I have ever rented. Brenda really has thought of everything. The welcome basket made my friend’s birthday weekend extra special too. Don’t hesitate to book with Brenda.

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! Lovely home and surroundings. Plenty of room for two couples and private areas to get away from each other. Rained a lot, and we were able to sit and enjoy under two porches if wind changed. Rested & relaxed from roar of water below. Deer everywhere and spring was springing! Would go again.

Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Cabin was clean and stocked. She pays close attention to detail. Really enjoyed our stay, wish we had longer!

We had an amazing stay celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday! The hot tub was a highlight, perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning views. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking a breeze. We really enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery. Our stay at the Bears Den was lovely! It was impeccably clean and we enjoyed the character of the home and decor. I appreciated that they drain and sanitize the hot tub after each guest. The price was very reasonable as well. I will certainly book again if we’re ever that way.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. We enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing on the deck and by the fire pit. The cabin felt like a home away from home.

What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

The cabin was truly "off the grid", as the road to the cabin could use a bit more gravel. However, our Corolla made it up and down with no issues even through some rainy days. The tires slipped a bit and we ended up at some interesting angles at certain points, but it was entertaining. Ensure you arrive with sunlight to help you locate the address. We arrived in the evening. Greg made sure he checked in with us to make sure we arrived with no challenges, which was nice! The area is private and quiet. You are literally in the woods. We didn't see any wildlife, but got spooked by the noises a few barred owls made near us. The firepit was a great addition. Kitchen and rooms were well stocked and clean. Linen and towels smelled fresh. I did end up hearing some buzzing every time I was in the upstairs bedroom and attributed it to the tons of bees in the area, but saw no evidence of anything scary inside lol. We truly did enjoyed our time and explored all over Blue Ridge!

The cabin is super cute, the porch with the creek is what really makes this place. We only stayed 2 nights but spent the last day basically on the porch for the last half of our stay and played Uno at the table! So peaceful with the creek right there. The power was out when we got there, and we didn't have cell service, so we had to walk up the lane to get service to ask about it, but Terry was responsive when we texted. Power came back on, and we were able to get on the wifi once it came back on. Note that the road to get in I would suggest you have a truck or a non-lower car, its bumpy and gravel. Makes for a fun in and out lol. Which that is part of having a place in the mountains. There are two cabins right there beside this one so if you want super private you may want to look someplace else- the neighbors we had left the next morning, so it was quite our last day there. I would stay again just because of the creek!

We have stayed before, and it was perfect. This time the floors weren't clean, and I am guessing it was the housekeeper that left behind a childs tablet and scooter laying on the deck, we left the tablet on top of the fridge with a note left on the fridge. I definitely recommend a safety gate at the top of the stairs, and better child proofing.

Charming home with plenty of space to explore and relax outside. We loved being able to walk down to the creek and picnic down there. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful to find great local stops. Perfect home base to come home to after long days of hiking.

We had such a lovely stay at Moose Tracks cabin. We stayed for a week Memorial Day week for a high school graduation in the area. It rained a good deal but the cabin was so cozy with such a lovely fireplace, we didn’t feel like we were missing out staying inside a little longer in the mornings. The cabin had everything we needed and our toddler looooooved the treehouse. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a cozy stay in the mountains.

This cabin is fantastic and Joeseph and Lorena were great at communicating. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend at this cabin and they were accommodating to make everything perfect. There were so many thoughtful gestures like a personalized sign and have other cool things like deer feed and bird feed. The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice! Views are amazing, clean, and all of the games you could ever want to play. The only thing I would note before you book is make sure you put the correct amount of people staying. Even though the cabin sleeps 8, I only reserved with 2 because I didn’t know how many were staying. There is a fee for anyone over your reserved amount. I ended up having 3 others stay for a total of 5 and still had to pay extra for them. Something to note. Everything was amazing and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Beautiful secluded spot to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Sheree was the perfect host. Thanks for a fabulous weekend!

Place was great and peaceful

The cabin was lovely and in great condition. There were issues of communication steming from what Airb&b shares with the host. If this could get worked out, I would have no complaints. We did have an issue of septic flooding on our final night which the host was highly apologetic about and quick to address even though it was late at night and below freezing. The host was friendly, the resort was nice, and the trails would have been so fun if we had not been too cold to walk to explore them. Had it been warmer, there was beautiful scenery and much to explore. Fair warning, apple maps works great on the resort property but Google maps will take you in crazy directions.

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Great getaway for couples. It was a nice, peaceful weekend.

The Hangout is amazing! Lots to do if you stay there AND lots to do in the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. We booked another weekend while we were still there! The pool is wonderful and the bunk house and main house were comfortable with all of the amenities you need. The bunk house transported us back to summer camp in all of the best ways. Only book if you’re prepared to have a great time in a beautiful area!
