Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Nosara

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in Samara. The house is very comfortable, with the best beds of our Costa Rica trip. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was as described. The pool, while small, entertained the kids after a half day at the beach. Two things to note if you're going to book. 1) You may think it is walkable to Samara, and technically it is, but in the heat of the day it is not. 2) The public utility infrastructure of Samara is under strain, so expect blackouts and at certain times of the day a dribble of water pressure. This is a Costa Rica thing, not a house thing. We had a fantastic time.

La maison est très agréable, elle est très bien équipée (notamment si vous aimez cuisiné). Il fait vite chaud à l’intérieur mais la climatisation et les brasseurs d’air permettent de bien rafraîchir. La terrasse est très agréable avec une belle vue sur les arbres qui permet de voir quelques animaux (singes, iguanes, coatis et oiseaux pour nous). Les lits sont confortables et le logement parfaitement propre. Le plus est qu’il est possible d’aller à la plage « playa pelada » directement à pied en moins de 10 minutes.

Hemos disfrutado mucho la estancia,Colton y Beto estuvieron muy pendientes de lo que pudiéramos necesitar. La piscina era muy agradable. Sin duda volveremos a reservar. La recomiendo 100%

We had a great time in Samara! The book of local recommendations was such a nice touch - we loved visiting several of the beaches, restaurants, and stores. It was also lovely having the pool at the house to help with the hot temperatures!

Un lugar inigualable, perfecto para desconectarse y pasar unos días increíbles ! A tan solo 15 minutos del centro de Marbella, facil acceso a las demás playas. La casa es tal cual como se muestran en las fotos, vimos unos atardeceres preciosos desde la piscina, con seguridad 24/7 sin duda volvería y lo recomendaría

Wir haben uns in der schönen casita von cally und scott sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf der Terrasse mit dem pool gegenüber vom Regenwald und trotzdem central in Samara und nicht weit vom Strand konnte man sich wunderbar erholen. Und den brüllaffen und Vögeln zuhören. Sogar ein Kolibri kam zum Grundstück. Cally und scott waren super erreichbar. Ihre Erklärungen bezüglich der Schlösser etc. waren einfach und gut. Insgesamt fanden wir für unseren Geschmack ein paar zu viele Regeln, aber dadurch war auch alles klar. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll, was wir liebten.

Excelente ubicación, casa acogedora y moderna , definitivamente volveríamos al lugar , como única recomendación mejorar el cierre del portón de la entrada!

We loved our stay! We were a group of 8 and had PLENTY of space. The place is very private and the beach feels basically private too. It’s not crowded with tourists and surfers like the beaches closer to town. Only thing to note is that the villa is further from downtown Nosara than it looks on the map. You can walk to Nosara along the beach in about 45 min but mostly you have to drive. Also, we had a few power outages which seems like a regular occurrence in this area due to Monkeys tripping the power lines. They never lasted more than 3 hours though. Special shout out to Harold who lives on the property who was INCREDIBLY helpful without being intrusive.

Sherry and Larry were excellent hosts and very hospitable. They take pride and joy hosting their guests which makes the experience staying at airbnb extra special. From the onset, we were greeted at the door and were given a comprehensive walkthrough. The place was immaculate and the views were drool worthy. A gentle breeze on the patio was perfect to stay cool while enjoying the views in the morning or evening. We also enjoyed their pool and their place was fully stocked with all the essentials including beach gear to borrow. We can't recommend this place enough and will be back! Thank you for hosing us :)

Amazing experience! The place is exactly as described, clean, and beautiful. The pool is amazing. Leonie was a very responsive host and meeting us at the property when we arrived made for a great start to our stay. The location is perfect--secluded yet right next to the main part of the town, just 5 minutes walk to restaurants and the beach. Highly recommended!

El lugar es lindísimo, con muchísimas áreas verdes y un jardín precioso. La casa es hermosa y muy amplia, ideal para seis personas. Está súper bien ubicada, a solo unos minutos del centro de Nicoya. Katia y Carlos fueron excelentes anfitriones: siempre atentos, muy amables y respondieron todas nuestras dudas con paciencia. El lugar tiene muchos árboles frutales, lo que atrae una gran variedad de aves. Si les gusta la observación, es perfecto: vimos trogones, aracaris, titiras, motomotos y más. La piscina es preciosa, al igual que el rancho, ideal para relajarse rodeado de naturaleza. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

Blue Sky Lodge en Quirimancito es un lugar especial para descansar y relajarse en las montañas de Nicoya. Pasamos unas excelentes vacaciones en familia. El lugar está completamente equipado, la piscina es preciosa y tiene unas vistas increíbles hacia la ciudad de Nicoya, la cocina muy amplia y equipada. Sandra y su familia nos recibieron muy bien, siempre estuvieron atentos con todos los detalles y nos dieron todas las recomendaciones para aprovechar al máximo nuestra estancia. Seguro que volveremos.

Loved it!

Loved our stay here. The location is great, close to everything, while still being isolated from the traffic and noise of the main Nosara area. The main road is nearby, but the home is up on a hill, so the road noise is minimal. The home is spacious and modern, and the private pool is amazing. Hosts were very helpful. We saw monkeys, lizards, frogs, squirrels, and so many birds just hanging out at the pool!

Wonderful trip to Nosara and Caroline’s place was perfect for our family of four. We loved being able to walk to Playa Pelada, being right above sunrise coffee (a daily staple for us and top place to visit, even if you aren’t staying right above it), and being in a small community of 4 homes with a basically private pool. Tiffany was a great local host who was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the place to others.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

It was exactly what we expected, because all the descriptions fully matched what we got. We were ready that the access to the house is not easy because of the tide, we were ready that the house would be small, but or was ok for us, because we stayed only 2 nights. And we DIDN’T want noisy restaurants nearby, so we got what we wanted, Thank you so much!!!❤️

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place! It was walking distance to everything in Nosara, including the beach, shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the easy distance to carry our surf boards to the beach. It was lovely to swim and lounge by the pool in the hot afternoons. The three separate buildings gave plenty of privacy for three couples. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and there was a lovely covered outdoor dining space. We would recommend staying here to everyone and would love to come back someday!

We had the most incredible time at this gorgeous spot. Daniella was wonderful to deal with, so easy to get a hold of, attentive and great to chat with. Always had excellent suggestions and recommendations, she made our stay feel so easy and she was so accommodating. The house is very well thought out, spacious beyond what the photos show and the most amazing backyard filled with howler monkeys throughout the trees that greet you in the mornings and afternoons. Had absolutely everything you could think of needing for a relaxing adults trip. A 5 minute drive to the beach town of Samara, which was wonderful to adventure around, so many great beach bars and open market style restaurants with fantastic food! Heritage Bar was a favourite with some of the best burgers and Indian food I’ve ever had! Only 10 minutes to playa carillo. I wish we had booked this spot for longer!

Nothing but positive things to say! Ivana was a great host, very communicative and friendly. This is a wonderful location for surfing on Guiones.

Wir waren im April 2025 vier Nächte bei Natalia zu Gast wir hatten einen wahnsinnig schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist super schön und hat alles was man braucht und mehr (Yoga-Platz, 2 Hängematten etc.). Zudem hat man das gesamte, so gut wie nicht einsehbare Grundstück für sich alleine. Alles in allem wirklich klasse und mit dem Auto nur ein Katzensprung bis in die City von Sámara.
