Unique little stone hut in Vivassdalen-Hardangervidda

The old stone rustic arches have been restored and are worth a sight and a stay. Since the cabins are located inside the National Park area, motorized traffic is prohibited here. Peace and Quiet is the watchword for this stay. Nevertheless, the days can be filled with activities from morning to evening for those who desire it. Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.
