Beach house holiday rentals in Norway

5* doesnt do this place justice. An absolute gem, the best place we've stayed in our two weeks in Norway. The house itself is wonderful, nestled in the trees with views to Hornelen its very well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Siri, Asle and their family were wonderful hosts, Siri provided so many suggestions for things to do and tailored these to the weather and our young child. They werent intrusive but made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, best airbnb hosts we've ever stayed with!

We loved staying at Rønnaug’s beautiful family farm. This was by far the best airbnb experience we have ever had! The cottage was such a peaceful getaway during our Norwegian road trip. Check in was a breeze as Rønnaug was extremely helpful and responsive. The house was gorgeous and spotless, and overall this was just the most peaceful and beautiful spot we have ever stayed. Juv is surrounded by peaceful woods, rolling fields, and the beauty of the fjords, and is a short drive to outdoor activities like the Loen skylight and Briksdalsbreen glacier. We highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful week in Skjold. The view from the living room is truly unique. The accommodation is even better than it looks in the pictures.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

This charming, comfortable cottage had everything we needed, plus great view, easy walk to store, wonderful bakery, lovely walking trails, bus stop. We loved it and Ann Iren answered our questions promptly and clearly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

“Beautiful home on private peninsula” is the perfect description. This is our second stay here at this amazing property. We’ve held very fond memories of staying at Vladimir’s House and we were not disappointed on our return! It is located on its own peninsula surrounded by water, sheep and birds. It had everything we needed and more so. Vladimir was friendly, quick to reply and really helpful. We are already planning our future visits. Thanks Vladimir.

Imelda has been an amazing host and the Airbnb was very nice and clean. The heated pool and the sauna was amazing after a late night swim in the Fanafjord. Imelda was very accommodating and knowledgeable, she also responded quickly to any questions we had. A bonus surprise was; We asked if we could use some of the fishing stuff and they brought kayaks the following morning to explore with. Thank you for a great experience, we will definitely be back.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he quickly came to the place and fixed it. Delightful heated pool. Quiet and peaceful area with short distance to the sea.

Bjorn Harry was very welcoming. We appreciated the welcome basket and special touches. This was a great place to relax after our Norwegian adventure. The kids loved the heated pool and hot tub. Easy walk to a beautiful beach.

We stayed for three nights at Edgars house. The location of the house was amazing. The house is very cosy and you have an amazing view on the river/fjord. In the kitchen we found everthing we needed. We highly recommed Edgars house for a trip to Monsjøen. We were a little bit sad that our stay was so short. We did a circular hiking round including the Helgelandstrappa, which is worth to visit.

We were 6 adults and 4 children, worked perfectly fine. 😊 Very nice with indoor pool. 💦 Recommended.

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

We had a wonderful time here, plenty of room for four adults with room to spare! Nice touches of comfort and style throughout the home. It is important to note there are no restaurants or grocery stores walkable, we appreciated knowing that ahead of check in. The 40 minute ride to downtown Bergen and 10-20 minute ride to food options was minor compared to the wonderful, beautiful place! Great kitchen and outdoor grilling area to prepare food. Responsive, friendly hosts!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Very nice cabin, with upgraded kitchen, living room and bathroom and nice bedrooms. The only thing we thought was a bit poor was the old kitchen equipment and service. Here, you should upgrade this. Otherwise, nice location.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help.
