Holiday rentals with lake access in Norway

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We have traveled so many countries and stayed in places and yet we truly have no words to explain how beautiful this location and the home is. It is beautiful beyond our words can explain. Flo Bellvue is one of the places I see my self coming back over and over with my family. It was more than big enough for our 3 families with kids. Monica and Vidar have paid so much attention to the details. We felt so home, our kids had the best time of their life, whether it was going outside to play, riding bicycles through the orchards and hills or going down by the water. Our day and evening walks will be the most memorable and this beautiful place will be in our memory forever. Thank you to Monica and Vidar for giving so many people an opportunity to experience this gem.

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The location by the lake was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to questions.

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Wonderful house just next to the sea with plenty of space and a large living room. Great host. We truly enjoyed our time there and felt immediately at home. If we’d ever get back to Fjørdgard, we definitely would stay there again.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

You feel yourself surrounded by a long waterfall with its beautiful water ambience and snow capped mountains. There is a breeze whose freshness is immediately felt once you open your lungs for it. The cabin is noise proof. Bathrooms are in top condition and kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfortable and we never felt tired after waking up daily. The apartment is really great and surrounded by water. We were there over Pentecost and it was wonderfully quiet. Rune's supermarket is right next door and unfortunately was closed over the holidays during our stay. Otherwise, it's super practical. Rune is very friendly and we also rented his little boat to sail across the Lysefjord. A great experience!

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings . Lovely and cosy house. Felt right at home. Well located - close to Leknes (just 15 mins away) and most tourist spots are within 30 minutes. Host is responsive and has an efficient streamlined system. Instructions are crisp and direct. We recommend :)

I've stayed at Anna's place many times now and there's a reason I keep coming back. Anna is a terric host, kind friendly and always helpful. The apratment is neat, cleean, tidy and quiet with everything you need and within close walking distance to the city, and right beside several handy bus stops. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tromso, this one is a personal favourite.

We had a lovely stay! The location is excellent with beautiful surroundings. We received a very warm welcome—our host was kind, eager to show us around, and offered great recommendations. Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We had a great time at Cato and Solveig's house. It felt like home, very pretty, beautiful location and great view. We were able to take a beautiful hike and experience the Vesterålen during these two weeks. The space was very clean and warm. Even though we couldn't meet Cato in person, he was always warning by message and very responsive if we needed him. Thanks again to Cato and Solveig for making this wonderful stay possible! 😊

I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.
