Cottage holiday rentals in Northwestern Pennsylvania

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

Great place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. Bedding was much better than most AirBnb’s we’ve been to. That was a HUGE plus. Loved the AC In every room and fully stocked kitchen. Loved that they provided snacks. The rainfall shower was a nice touch!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

this place was an amazing stay for me and my girlfriends trip! we were obsessed with the house and the views. tony answered all our questions promptly and sent someone to look at the hot tub while we were there. we definitely hope to be back in the future!

This is an adorable place directly next to a quiet, beautiful beach. They have some amenities for young children such as plastic plates and cups and a high chair, which is nice to not have to pack. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

Parkside cottages are a great place to stay with easy access to the lake. Everything is always clean, peaceful and quiet! Since our last stay we were surprised to see some updates in the kitchen that were simple and nice. If you’re looking for a quick get away in a quiet little cabin environment, this is the spot!

My husband and I loved Sunnys place. Out of all the Airbnbs we have stayed this was definitely at the very top. It was clean and cozy. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful. We felt right at home as soon as we settled in. I love how the house was decorated. Sunny responded as soon as we gave her a call. Awesome with communication.

Sally’s place was beautiful and spacious. It worked well for our family’s mini-vacation. The location can’t be better. I being able to walk right to the shore. This is the second time I’ve rented one of Sally’s properties, and both times Sally was just great to work with. Can’t wait to go back!

We had such a great time staying here! The walk to the cliffs was super muddy, but we still made the best of it. It was shocking to see the sheer drop of the cliffside. We weren’t expecting that! It was a beautiful view at sunset. We were very comfortable during our stay, and hope to come again for even longer!

Loved our stay here. Very close to lakeside and walking distance to the bagel shop, etc. Place was absolutely spotless & smelled so clean upon arrival. Tons of space, kitchen is fully stocked, and lots of room for your family! We loved staying here. Penelope is very responsive & kind!

The photos and description do not fully capture how awesome the cottage actually is! Fantastic decor, comfy bed and high quality linens are a priority for me, and the cottage far exceeded expectations!!! The kitchen had everything we needed! The back deck and balcony were literally inches from the creek. The private beach offered a perfect location for enjoying the lake. We also enjoyed the park and public beach within sight of the cottage. The cottage provided stunning views of the lake. Thank you for sharing this amazing property!

Jan was an excellent host to us - my husband, myself, and our dog Bear. It’s an incredibly dog- friendly place. We read other reviews about the fence but it met our needs perfectly. We maximized our use of the house with cooking breakfast and dinner there, utilizing the outdoor grill and indoor kitchen as well as the firepit. Jan was extremely accommodating and flexible to meet our needs. Would absolutely come back!

This house on the water front is beautiful, peaceful and well kept. Kelly was a great host. Responsive and friendly. She gave easy to follow instructions and i felt that if we had needed something she would have responded immediately. However, due to the excellent condition of the house and amenities we didn’t need a thing! We enjoyed a wonderful weekend and not only would we return but would also recommend this to anyone looking for a waterfront stay in GOTL..

This was our 2nd stay at the Cozy Oaks in the past 2 months. This property is well-maintained and has gorgeous views of the forest.

Such a cute little cottage in a peacefully little neighborhood. Can see the lake from the house and short walk to playground and waterfront. Loved it! Would definitely stay again!

Hidden gem! Private, peaceful, quiet and I loved the view from the deck! A bunch of restaurants within 5-7 minutes driving distance in Ellwood City. Doug was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We lost power, but Doug tracked down the power company & had answers within 5 minutes (tree fell on power wires down the road). We were put at ease knowing it wouldn't be out for long. He left fresh eggs in the fridge from his daughter's farm which was very cool. We were also thankful our dogs could stay with us. We would definitely stay here again when we're in town visiting family, and hope to enjoy the river next time around (kayaks!). Thank you!

We were looking for a retreat for Memorial Day that would keep our toddler busy but offer a peaceful setting, free of crowns for our newborn and Erica’s place fit the bill exactly! The property looked even better in real life than in the photos. The place was stocked with amenities. Every time we said “I forgot XYZ” it was available in the house including: bug spray, firewood, marshmallow sticks, coffee thermos, wine, and more! I’ve never stayed at a place that had so much available. The spring water provided in the dispenser was very helpful, especially with little ones. Our toddler enjoyed looking for salamanders and frogs, splashing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, and bird watching. Cracking the bedroom windows provided the perfect white noise from the creek. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy coffee while soaking in all the nature. We also enjoyed the Amish trail, Ellicottville Brewing, and pastries from Early Bird Ranch. A perfect family staycation!

Had a great stay and fun time in the surrounding area hiking. Nice Airbnb for a weekend getaway, would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in Airbnb worldwide and this was one of the best! Great location. Clean. Newly updated. Nice space. Wonderful view and beautiful friendly community. A frame bedroom had cabin feel. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at Bryce’s charming cabin. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, well designed and full of character. Although a small space, it felt open and comfortable. Bryce was a very responsive and accommodating host, answering all our questions quickly and kindly. The beds were comfortable, the water hot and the cabin was adequately equipped for cooking. We loved the view of the creek from the dining area and sitting by the water and making a fire in the evening. It was perfect for my elderly mom too—no stairs, easy shower access, and peaceful surroundings with birdsong during the day and quiet at night. One note for those with similar needs: the dining table is counter height, my mom either stood at the table or used the sofa chair to eat. This wasn't a problem for us at all, but might be helpful information for others. She loved the space and didn’t want to leave. We couldn't have had a better experience and we’d gladly return!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home! The views of Lake Erie were absolutely stunning—sunsets from the porch were a highlight of our trip. The house was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty of space for our group of six adults and one child, and we especially appreciated the cozy common areas where we could all gather. Janelle was a responsive and gracious host, making check-in and communication seamless. We would absolutely love to return—this home is a true gem in Erie!

Alyssa and Brian were great! They were very responsive! The place was just like the pictures and everything was clear!! They had everything you needed to cook! They had toiletries in bathroom! I brought my own but it was all there! Thank you! I hate to recommend bc I want it available for when we want to go again! lol! All seriousness definitely would recommend!!!

Beautiful lakeside property, clean and comfortable, fabulous view, great location. We prefer a quieter stay and Steve’s place was perfect. We enjoyed a campfire several nights and walks down the trail to the lake. Steve is easy to communicate with and the home provides all the amenities we needed. We had a great stay. Thank you.
