Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northumberland Strait

Gorgeous home. A really comfortable, liveable, well laid out place. Clean and uncluttered. Ben was great to communicate with. We liked the peaceful, remote location. It’s near Panmure Beach which was nice. Didn’t try the kayaks the way our trip played out but the bay would be a gorgeous place to explore on a calm day. Great sunsets on the deck across the bay. Note that it’s pretty far from everything. Just under an hour to Greenwich Dunes or Charlottetown. But the remote location has its own charms. And Montague town nearby has basics like groceries, pharmacy (and walk-in clinic should you need it), liquor store etc. The house next door is close-ish but not too close. We like privacy and didn’t bother us. On the other side there is a house under construction but it looks like they have stopped building and we didn’t see any activity there when we were there. Could be something to ask about before booking though. All in all a fantastic stay. We would come back.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay! The house was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and with a well-equipped kitchen. Our favorite moments were sipping coffee on the porch each morning and winding down by the fire in the evenings. The peaceful setting, with cows grazing in the distance, made it all the more special. Thank you, Lori, for sharing your lovely home. We’re so glad we chose this spot—highly recommend!

We have stayed at a number of lovely properties in the years that we have been using Airbnb and Yellow Door 44 is up there is the best of them. In particular, we appreciated - everything was very, very clean - this cleaner knows their work! - the kitchen is unusually well stocked with more glasses, cups, flatware, cookware, dinnerware, etc. than we have at home - there are lots and lots of towels and extra linens - the rooms are big, comfortable, airy, and bright with really good lighting (hard to get in many properties) - the beds and linens are very comfortable - communication related to check-in and out was very good - the information binder describing how all of the appliances and such worked was excellent. It also included many local restaurant suggestions We enjoyed it here very much and will return next time we are on the Island.

The place was everything that we expected. The hosts were quickly responsive and helpful. I would recommend this property to anybody.

This was our second time staying and it was just as good as the first! Nancy is so friendly and even offered us a late check out without our asking. The house has everything we need for a relaxing end of the school year getaway. We have an annual end of the school year trip and hopefully this will continue being our go to spot for years to come! The views, the layout, the space, the tranquility, the hot tub, 10/10!

This place was great and exactly what we needed. Parking in the driveway and clear instructions with pictures on how to check in. Plus coffee and kitchenette was nice. Bathroom had soap/shampoo and conditioner which I found to be convenient. Towels and linens were fresh and cozy.

A fantastic place to stay, located in a nice spot pretty close to downtown Charlottetown. Hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They went out of their way to make sure we could enjoy our trip without any worries and were always available to answer any questions we might have. A great experience and a lovely area to stay in!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is large and there is everything that you need. Especially nice for children as there were many toys - our son absolutely loved it! Communication with Jeni was flawless and she always replied super quick. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Clarke and Shelley’s! The space was very clean and had everything you need. The VIEW from this listing is unmatched and very peaceful - huge plus! Communication with our hosts was clear and responsive and it was nice to meet them in person too. 100% would book again when I’m back in town!

Enjoyed my two night stay here - lovely accommodation in a central location to explore PEI. A self contained basement unit at the hosts' house in suburbia, it exceeded expectations. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful spot and even nicer than the (already lovely) photos! Terrie and team were highly responsive, accommodating and so friendly. You can tell a lot of time and work went into perfecting this quaint (yet spacious) spot. The proximity to everything downtown was also perfect for walking anytime of day. We truly fell in love with PEI, and this Airbnb was a big part of that. Thanks all! We hope to be back next year!

We were determined to make it to PEI on our east coast trip so we booked Donna’s place for one night—sadly that wasn’t nearly enough time! After a long day of exploring we arrived and saw a nice handwritten thank you card, fruit on the table and charcuterie in the fridge. I’ve never had a more thoughtful Airbnb host. The place was comfortable and clean and we were very interested in the history of this house; one of the oldest in Charlottetown. We will definitely stay here again when we can come back with more time to explore the city and province.

Great views, lovely surroundings and complimentary snacks and bathroom products were much appreciated. Very quiet if the upstairs unit is not rented seperately. We would come again!

Great location. walkable to everything. beautiful and peaceful. my 2 year old son loved the balcony and watching the boats. park close by, coffee shops and shopping.

We stayed for one night to break up a long drive to our destination in Nova Scotia. The place is just as described and perfect for my husband, our dog, and me. Very clean and comfortable, within walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants. Sebastian met us at the unit and pointed out some spots we might want to visit; he was a great host.

Beautiful oceanfront condo with lots of space and access to pool and private beach.

The condo exceeded our expectations-gorgeous property, great view, clean and just as described. Close to everything-beach, great food, waterfront trail, souvenir shops, etc.

This place perfectly fit what I was looking for, and for the price it was good value. It was an 18 min walk to St.FX University where my conference was, and the Brownstone Restaurant a block away had great food, a fun patio, and a truly outstanding stout. It's definitely a main street loft (i.e. sounds of the city), but the central location in Antigonish is unbeatable. The TV is quite small, but that's not what I was there for. The overhead lighting is kinda stark, but I just moved one of the bedroom lamps for a second one in the livingroom. The hosts were always super quick on replies. If I was coming back for a similar visit, I would definitely book it again.

What a view!! the room was clean and cozy. They had everything we needed. very friendly hosts. Gave us good recommendations. location was close to the beach and drivable to the Red Shoe, the Glenora Distillery and a bunch more great places.

This place is beautiful! We really enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend Port Hood Place! Richard was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!
