Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northumberland Strait

Very responsive hosts, beautiful cottage and grounds. Everything was as described, there was a nice welcome basket on the counter when we arrived. We had a great stay, would stay here again. We also were given early check in and check out which was a nice bonus :)

We spent five great nights in Brackley Beach. Home is spacious but cozy, clean and well equipped for cooking. Greg responded very promptly when we had a minor issue with the fireplace (all good). Lovely deck to sit out morning and evening. Great location, very close to the national park trails and beaches, coffee shop, etc. Bikes and double kayak were waiting on site as expected (but we brought our own).

We really enjoyed our time in the cottage and would love to return in the summer for a longer stay!

The Yellow Tent Cottage was a great stay for our group trip. Andrew provided amazing accommodations and hospitality. Definitely visit again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. The location was excellent, the house was well stocked and so comfortable, the welcome gift so thoughtful. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend this house to anyone 😊

Our extended family of 8 were disappointed to to leave Blue Heron as it is a home and location that could be grand central for our day-to-day family lifestyle. Jeff and Anita offer an exceptionally clean and fully provisioned home that works in any maritime weather. The high standard of cleanliness, generous inventory of spices, coffee and consumables, high quality of linens and textiles encouraged us to respect and care for the house as if it was our own. The television and sound systems are up to date and the internet service very reliable. When not relaxing after dinners, we kayaked, walked the fields, and roasted marshmallows over an open backyard fire-pit. We all slept well in comfortably spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage space and privacy. The sunroom off the primary main floor bedroom was perfect for morning coffee and reading. We left some prescriptions behind and Jeff kindly mailed them to us. This was a thoughtful and extraordinary effort. Thank you Jeff and Anita!

Absolutely gorgeous setting, and cottage was extremely well kept and well stocked. Pat was responsive and friendly, and we pretty much loved every minute of our time here!

We loved our stay! The beautiful beach is right there and a family of seals lay out on the rocks at low tides:). The home was cozy and well equipped with comfy couches inside and outside. Tamara was super helpful in many ways and even treated us to a bag of PEI mussels! We would definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at Mark’s place, the house is right on the water, very peaceful, and the view is absolutely stunning. It was clean, well equipped, and had everything I needed. Check in and check out were super easy. Mark was very friendly and always quick to respond. I really enjoyed my time and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended

Lisa & Jared were fabulous hosts! Their place far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was clean and comfy. Had all of the creature comforts we could ask for. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck while our dog ran the fenced in yard. Sunrises, sunsets, tides, beach walks and relaxing afternoons sitting on the amazing deck, what more could one ask for!! Thank you for your hospitality! It was a great week!!!!

We had a fantastic time at the Doyle Beach House! Staying there was the perfect way for us to end our Nova Scotia trip as it offered a a great place to relax and as a base for us to explore Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail. The beach is at the bottom of the garden and was perfect for our children with calm shallows and soft sand but also with areas of stones for exploring. The location of the property is perfect for access to the beach at anytime of the day for walks and play and is also a short drive away from restaurants and grocery stores. The sunsets are amazing either from the deck or even from inside and watching over the water was a nightly routine. We couldn’t recommend this property and the hosts more and would love to return in the future.

Great stay at this lovely cottage with own beach. Beach had tons of shells and some crabs to catch which my son loved. Kayaks were a fun addition. Very comfortable stay in a super peaceful area. Lots to do locally and further afield - some gorgeous beaches. Mandi was very helpful and responsive. Would recommend 100%.

This is my second stay at this Airbnb and it was just like the first time that I went. Everything was perfect. The view from this place is breathless and the view of the Ocean to wake up every morning well you just have to stay there to know what I am talking about. Marty and Donna are the perfect host to deal with. Within minutes they would response to me. They accommodated with me as I had to change my date of staying and within minutes I had my new date booked. This cottage has everything you need. Thanks again Marty and Donna for everything and making this Girls week a memory that will last for years.

We stayed 2 nights at the Potter Homestead, 3 couples in total. Lot's of space, all the amenities were there and was a great base to visit some of the local sites and attractions. Lot's of great character in the cottage.

Great little oasis. Very quite and private with close proximity to Charolettetown. Very clean. Stayed for 5 nights , had everything we needed , with extras included like games. Kayaks,and a fire pit. We throughly enjoyed the peace after a day of exploring. We were quite intrigued by the “bug away” , spent hours dicusing what it was, and even sought out to buy multiple to bring back to Newfoundland. Would book again!

We had a lovely stay at Beachcombers - a tranquil, idyllic spot on the island. Brenda was a friendly and responsive host who made us feel right at home, including welcoming us with cookies! The cottage is thoughtfully designed, well maintained and comfortable. Great for a couple or a small family.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in a beautiful spot just steps from a lake that you can do lots of fishing in! If you stay I hope you have the pleasure of actually meeting Lyndy because she is so kind hearted (she also makes amazing cookies that was in the bunkie when we arrived)!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cara and Jeff’s place in Morell. The cottage is beautiful and serene, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a large yard and a fire pit to enjoy in the evening. We enjoyed the adjacent beach as well as trips to nearby Greenwich beach. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Troy's cottage. We didn't use the bikes and kayaks (though we planned to) but we did use the parks pass many times. Thank you for the yummy treats upon arrival. it was a wonderful central location for exploring the island. It was a quick drive to the beach to enjoy the sunset. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to do laundry.

Absolutely outstanding cottage. Very clean, peaceful, great spot right on the water. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. No issues whatsoever, everything was perfect. A great location from which to explore beautiful PEI! Highly recommended!

The Islander Lodge was everything we could have wanted for our stay. The location is very rural (42 kms outside Antigonish in mostly cottage country), the "cottage" is really a log house ( a beauty), modern, immaculate and pristine. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the stars and listening to the hoots of owls nearby. We didn't use the kayaks but they are provided along with life jackets. The beautiful lodge is exactly as described,inside and out. It's magazine gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had loads of privacy and were reassured the host would be around if needed. My only two suggestions would be to bring your own drinking water as this area has very hard water. And don't forget your security code instructions (ha) so you dont inadvertently get locked out. ( my wife has a good memory thankfully ha). We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these exceptional accommodations in West Lochaber.

Lovely cottage and very well equipped and kept. Cottage has a very nice peacefully view of the river. Dara & Harold are lovely people. We were there during winter. PEI weather can be a bit challenging but they were always checking in on us. Made us feel right at home!
