Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Canada

The A Frame getaway Nordic Spa really delivered. It’s a cozy interior and a beautiful spa oasis outside. Everything was decorated with purpose and the space felt very relaxing. We spent a few hours cycling through hot and cold in the sauna/hottub and cold tub. The only downside to the space is the small semi updated single bathroom. Wasn’t a huge concern for us, but I don’t remember any pictures of it and it’s certainly not the focal point of the space or why you should stay here. Overall, the space provided an amazing opportunity to relax, unwind, and refresh. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

We loved our stay here. The view from the full length windows and outdoor patio were breathtaking. We saw lots of wildlife: eagles, deer, seals, an otter and humpbacks. The kitchen was stocked and the bedding was very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. We had fires on the beach each night while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It’s a walkable distance to the Dolphin Resort restaurant where the food was excellent. We would rebook in a minute.

Miles is a fantastic host! Not only was he proactive in communicating details regarding entry and amenities, he went above and beyond with little fresh baked goods, Smart Home instructions guide, and providing literally everything you'd need to feel at home (bathrobes, teas, serving dishes+several cups, even milk and cream in the fridge!) The Hot tub was great, the place was spotlessly clean, and the balcony views were a pleasure to enjoy. This is a great house with lovely sky lights in the kitchen and beautiful location right by the boardwalk! 11/10 ✨

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

This delightful cabin has all the comforts of home and more. I had the most relaxing time. It looks just like in the photos with the amazing view of the lake from the whole cabin, including the sauna. Thank you, Kelly, for sharing your little piece of paradise!

We had a short but lovely stay. The house was very cozy and clean and the view was stunning! Exactly the relaxing getaway we were looking for.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dev’s place! It was very peaceful being right on the water with lots to do in the area! The cottage was the same as the photos and perfect for a weekend at the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Has a real “Wow”factor as soon as you walk in the door. The upper bedroom area is amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The back deck and yard, the view….Wow again. Along with the usual suspects we regularly saw Bald eagles, Osprey, Egrets and a Pelican. The surrounding area is beautiful. I highly recommend Red Door Retreat. Despite how wonderful it shows in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Would not hesitate to return.

We had a great stay at Frank & Zoltan’s! So many thoughtful touches & we really enjoyed the pool and location. Very walkable to the falls, Clifton hill, etc. It was a very nice stay & we loved having what was a calm and serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! We appreciated their hospitality. Great hosts, would recommend

Loved staying here! The place was super clean and the views of downtown were amazing. It’s in a great spot — I could walk to pretty much everything I needed. Very nice discovery, Celine and Gonzague were very friendly hosts, and especially very responsive (I sent a message following a product break, Céline arrived within 10 minutes to satisfy us)! We felt good and safe, idyllic setting, and very well located (and beautiful) house. We would 100% recommend this listing and these hosts!

The apartment suite style of living made us feel at home while on vacation. Upscale finishes and a large shower made it feel like a nice get away! Not to mention the amazing view!

I had a great stay! The location was super convenient, and the space felt so comfortable and homey. Sahiya and Gibran were really responsive and accommodating, which made everything easy. Would definitely book again!

Highly recommend. The dock and the area by the lake are beautiful. And you get the entire view from the unit as well.

This property had lots of great reviews and they were all true!! We were especially impressed with the items in the fridge and cupboards that were left from previous travellers like spices and condiments, teas and coffee. Jenn was always prompt in her replies to my emails and sent Daisy over twice to clean the outside windows so our amazing view was clearer and to provide some extra supplies that were needed. Thanks Daisy for your great job on cleaning and being there when we needed a little help. The condo was spacious and cosy. The back stairs were very handy for parking, just have to be careful on the steps as the concrete is crumbling in places. Loved the outdoor furniture. Used the gas fireplace almost every morning since the weather was pretty cool the first couple of days. Ear plugs came in handy as the condo is not very sound proof. (Not a complaint, just a fact). We could hear the TV, voices and foot steps from the unit above. All was quiet by 10pm. Loved the place!!!

This is a great place to stay. Canmore is well located to be used as a base for 3 or 4 national parks. The view from your private balcony is even better than the photograph shows. Banff is a short drive away, and the variety of things to do is huge. The condo is very well equipped with a big TV (with Netflix, YouTube etc) proper cooking facilities and is a very pleasant place to relax in - if you ever have enough of the great outdoors! The Asian-fusion restaurant in Silver Creek Lodge (the hotel in which this independent condo is located) is highly recommended. I ate there for the majority of my stay. I found the hosts to be very helpful. Overall very highly recommended.

We had an incredible experience ! The breathtaking mountain views from the windows and balcony were truly unforgettable and a perfect backdrop for our trip. The condo was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We are now in love with Canmore and loved running along the Bow River every morning. The host was great, kind, responsive, and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Canmore. A true gem!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another Great Stay – Our Third Year in a Row! This was our third year staying at this condo, and it’s still one of our favorite places to stay. Even though we ran into a couple of minor issues during check-in, the host was incredibly responsive and took care of things quickly and professionally. The condo itself is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—close to everything we love to do when we’re in town and a great base to launch from for those longer driving around days for the beautiful scenery. It’s become a staple of our annual trip, and we really appreciate how reliable and easy the whole experience has been each year. Looking forward to next year already!

We stayed at Mark & Lisa’s place for a night and had a great night. Mark’s very responsive and gave very detailed instructions before the check-in. The place is nice and has all amenities one needs. We didn’t get to use most of them such as BBQ, patio furnitures, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc , due to limited time there, but these are all available.

This place is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils, so we felt comfortable like we were at home for three weeks. It was nice that there was a golf course nearby, and there were walking trails around the ski resort, so we spent time healing naturally while we were there. The accommodation facilities were clean and nice.
