Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northern Rivers

what a lovely house..sarah was so helpful and kind..home was well equipped and some lovely welcome food and drinks on arrival..peaceful area but walkable to beach and as long as have a car can access loads of local towns etc within 30mins of the house..a real home from home ..and the birds on the terrace at breakfast were a bonus..highly recommended..one of our best air bnb experiences.. thanks again sarah

Matt’s property is amazing! The house is very spacious and has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Being right on the water is delightful, the kayaks and SUPs are great fun. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to try the pool but it looked fantastic. Stayed with our two small children and there was lots to keep them entertained, and everything we needed for an easy stay with toddlers. Thanks again Matt!

Had the most wonderful weekend at Kim’s treehouse for my birthday, it was immaculately clean, peaceful and cosy. It was also a treat seeing which birds came to visit every day 😌✨

Perfect location with the beach so close. We had our baby and 2yr old so the little yard was perfect to keep them contained and not a long walk back from the beach. Minimalist and simple furnishings. Communication was great too. Would stay again!

We had a beautiful stay at Three Palms Escape. The highlight was definitely the sauna and cold plunge, it was such a perfect way to relax and unwind. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and super comfortable for the whole family. Beautiful location and so much to do in the area. The hosts were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Highly recommend 🤍

Recommend the location and accommodation provided for a weekend or longer stay. Central location within short distance to Jetty. Very clean and great value for money. Would stay again

We know this lovely area fairly well and had just cleared out our place nearby prior to settlement of its sale. Steve's place was a lovely place to stay after we had cleared ours out and it just suited our needs. We intend staying again as we will still be visiting close family in the area from time to time and Steve's place ticks all our boxes.

We had such a wonderful stay at Dave and Sallyanne's cottage. The little touches like a bottle of wine and marshmallows to roast made us feel right at home. The hosts were so friendly and provided us with local suggestions during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Tim’s place as we were attending a friend’s wedding at Maroon Hill Estate. Our Adult family joined us. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini getaway and family catch-up. It would have to be one of the best appointed Airbnb we have stayed in. We thoroughly unwound together attended the wedding, visited the wineries, and cooked pizzas in the pizza oven and sat around the firepit! It was exactly like the pictures and more. We will definitely be back, not to mention how beautiful the Boonah town is as well. Thankyou for opening up your home Tim. We loved it!

Andreas place was perfect for a little getaway. We needed somewhere to stay while at the blues festival. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the pot holes in the streets from Bangalow.

Debbie and Graham's place is fantastic; it has everything you could need for a really comfortable stay, including some games, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The view from the balcony is spectacular, where you can see many local birds. It's so peaceful and tranquil. We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

We stayed in a piece of paradise. Beautifully decorated rustic house and mother nature at it's perfection around it. The creek behind the property was the highlight of our stay. We were lucky enough to have the oranges fresh from the trees and organic free range eggs from the chooks as well. The host were very friendly and helpful. Everything that you need is here. We were provided with a whole carton of milk, eggs, oranges and even beer. Very thoughtfully set bedroom as well, even with sleepy mist and slippers. Definitely coming back.

Such a beautiful spot to disconnect and unwind. The place was stunning and peaceful. Loved the layout and the ambiance when the indoor fire was lit. Would recommend 10000% and look forward to booking again.

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry! Can’t wait to come back. This cabin was perfection. Had the best night sitting by the fire. Laura was so great to deal with. The fire kit and kitchen stocked with eggs/fresh bread and cooking appliances was such a nice touch.

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

The cabin was lovely. The photos give a good representation of the place. Everything was clean and modern with a nice feel to the place. Looking out over the green with the sound of the running creek nearby was peaceful. We lit a small fire in the fire pit but it didn’t last as after the rain our wood was a bit wet. It was a great spot for it. The trampoline, soccer net and cubby would be great for kids. Internet is a bit patchy at times but it didn’t really affect us. There were Alpacas that raced to the fence to see us several times, 2 hairy Scottish cows and a couple of friendly horses that we patted which added to our country experience. Killen Falls is a 5 minute drive up the road and it’s not far to Lennox Heads, Ballina or Byron Bay. We had a great 2 night stay.

Had a great stay at Conan's place. Close to where we needed to go and very nice place to stay. Will be recommending this place and staying here again!

Cassandra was kind enough to accept our booking with very little notice after a last-minute cancellation left us without accommodation for the long weekend. We arrived at a lovely little cabin in a super peaceful location - only 5 minutes from the sweet Mylestom General store and beach, 10 minutes from the boardwalk at Urunga and 15 minutes to beautiful Bellingen. Cabin was super warm and cosy, with floor to ceiling glass windows letting in the morning sunshine - such a nice change from the recent weeks of non-stop rain! Fantastic outdoor firepit area and the dogs loved galivanting around the giant grassy paddock.
