Cottage holiday rentals in Northern Norway

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something a bit more out there - not a typical Airbnb experience but we really enjoyed it. Only real negative was a very creaky bed.

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

Incredible surroundings. We were fortunate to have a crisp clear night when the Aurora appeared above the house. We also had lots of snow which was great fun for walking, sledging and playing. The hot tub is a wonderful indulgence.

The cottage is exactly as described and set in beautiful surroundings. The grilling hut and sauna are great additions and really add to the experience, whilst the location allows for peaceful walks and an opportunity to see the northern lights when down by the frozen sea! Would definitely recommend

Magic place and cottage, Annele are a super host!

We spent our honeymoon in this beautiful cottage. Marja was always responsive, whether before the trip for preparation or during the stay. She recommended many places to us and we were never disappointed! As for the cottage, it is perfect, comfortable and functional (apart from the absence of a shower). It is well arranged and the nature around is magical. The listing photos are good but the cottage is even better in real life! It was a really wonderful week that will have marked us forever.

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

Well appointed and comfortable accommodation. Good bedding and fully equipped. Location is lovely. Christina is very responsive and friendly.

We quickly felt at home with a comfortable space and a typical atmosphere that we like to find in a trip abroad. The location is ideal for ski touring activities in the Lyngen Alps. The owner of the premises is very involved in hosting these hosts and makes sure everything is well. I recommend.

A very nice little house, with all the amenities you need. clean and nice. central if you, like us, want to hike or hike in the area. We needed to park down by the road because the driveway was steep and icy, and we drove a front wheel drive car that we didn't get up the hill with.

The cottage is neat and cozy. Good location, quiet environment and short distances to other destinations.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The view from the house to the fjord is fantastic! The house is very nice and cozy. The sauna is also very nice and also offers a beautiful view of the fjord. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Jusa’s place is set in the most breathtaking surroundings while still being conveniently located near various activities and towns. We had a hire car, which made getting around extremely easy. From the moment we arrived, Jusa and Saana made us feel incredibly welcome. They ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin is serene and tranquil, and we were fortunate enough to see the northern lights on two occasions right from the cabin! The sauna is a beautiful way to unwind after a day of exploring. Jusa kindly provided plenty of firewood for both the sauna and the fireplace, as well as ample water to meet all our needs. A real highlight of our trip was Jusa's snowmobile tour across the frozen sea to the islands. It was a truly magical experience that felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Overall, I cannot find any faults in our stay. We are very grateful for the wonderful hospitality and cannot recommend Jusa’s place enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at Olli and Una’s cabin. The cabin is very cozy - we built fires every night that we were there with the firewood that was provided. The cabin is at the end of the road so it was very peaceful. We ate our breakfast in the cabin very day and felt that the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable!

They were always available and helped us with every question we had, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The cabin offers a great selection of sports equipment, including snowshoes and sleds—perfect for outdoor adventures. The breathtaking nature surrounding the cabin made our stay even more special. We especially loved the stunning view of the frozen lake and the beautiful snow-covered forests, which created a magical winter wonderland. The neighbors were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. This place is safe, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly felt comfortable and would love to come back!
