Beachfront holiday rentals in Northern Norway

This is probably one of the best spots I've stayed at. From the beautiful view afforded by the floor to ceiling windows to the quality of cooking supplies and equipment, everything was great. Highly recommend!

Very large and comfortable flat, perfect to visit the area!

Loved staying in Lars’ rorbu! Spacious, very clean and comfortable, the property is as described. The view on the water and up to Reinebringen is beautiful. As a fishing cabin, it is just that: simple and practical. Lars is very helpful: it was quite chilly when we arrived (for us Aussies!) and he offered to bring firewood for the fireplace: but it was not needed as the heating did the job once it kicked in! Although a 40 min walk to Reinebringen trailhead, it was much easier than to try find a park closer - and cheaper!

Carl's place was a great place to spend some time. We used local buses to get out and about - a nice walk through the woods to the bus stop. After a busy day, back at the cabin we could have a sauna, a swim in the lake and cook and enjoy an evening meal in the wonderful mid June evening light. Did Carl arrange for his guests to have such nice weather...? I'll let you decide ;-)

We had a great time at David's place with a very nice welcome by David's mom. The setting is beautiful with lake views and a superb and protected landscape. The space was very cozy and well laid out. We highly recommend it!

What a perfect end to my Norway adventure. Bodil’s cottage is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful, and she made me feel right at home. She is such a generous and lovely host, I hope to come back here to stay again in the future. The home has everything you need, and more. I spent my last days in Norway sitting in the incredible garden, enjoying the flowers, and the sounds of the birds and river. She also helped me achieve what was my ultimate goal for my trip, and a lifelong dream of mine; experiencing the midnight sun in all of her glory. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you have the means, definitely try to stay at this magical location — you will not be disappointed!

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful view, we swam at the beach and enjoyed the goats and sheep. Lots of space to hang out! The king bed upstairs was very comfortable. Marthe’s instructions were precise and accurate.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Jamies van was just what we needed. It was perfect to see Lofoten on our own pace and explore wherever we wanted. The bed is comfortable which is all you really need.

We stayed for three nights at Edgars house. The location of the house was amazing. The house is very cosy and you have an amazing view on the river/fjord. In the kitchen we found everthing we needed. We highly recommed Edgars house for a trip to Monsjøen. We were a little bit sad that our stay was so short. We did a circular hiking round including the Helgelandstrappa, which is worth to visit.

The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

We very much enjoyed having Raymond’s place as a base for exploring the Lofotens. It was well located for popping into Henningsvær for meals and into Svolvær for groceries, and put most hikes within easy enough reach. The home is striking, and our group of 7 found we generally had enough space. We loved hot tubbing under the midnight sun. Excited to return!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. Superb location and great views. Very nice holiday home with great facilities. Ideal for exploring Lofoten Islands. Fantastic scenery during the summer solstice and polar day! Would love to visit again!

The place was so beautiful! How naturally the cottage and the barbecue area fit into the environment! From the cottage, you could see the lake through the beautifully pruned trees. It was calming to watch the summer life of the water - our time there was filled with sun, fog and rain, which was great. The cottage was very well equipped, clean, cozy, tastefully decorated. The wood was waiting in the wood sauna and at the barbecue area, skillfully arranged. Check-in and communication with Terho went smoothly. Thank you so much for letting us spend the remarkable summer days in your birdhouse!

breath-taking. the mountain fjord enfolds you. just wonderful. if you haven't visited northern Norway, this is your portal. the host was proactive in finding a parade on constitution day. we took hikes -- everywhere leads to water--a cruise, found a great coffee shop in Leknes, visited an old Viking longhouse, had a 5 course country meal from a local farmer and chef and visited the sheep! , and had a traditional Scandinavian sauna . Every turn on the highway is stunning. The farm dinner helped us interact with the locals which made our adventure much warmer. Hope you have a great time.

This house? An absolute hit! Right on the coast, with a view that is so beautiful that you have to pinch yourself every now and then. Highlights? There are many! – The hikes in the mountains? Great! – The beaches? Postcard level! – The island of Leka? An excursion that you can't miss. Sleeping was completely overrated, by the way - we wanted to savor every minute here. Our trick: simply don't go to bed in the first place. It worked great (well, almost...). A big thank you to Snorre and Britta! You have created a real piece of happiness by the sea with this house. We'll be back, whether you like it or not😉.

Such a fabulous and kind host…friendly, welcoming and really helpful with great ideas on places to visit to make my stay special. This was my 3rd attempt to visit after various issues and Anette was so kind to make the process of rebooking seamless- thank you!

Kent’s place is outstanding. It is exactly like the pictures. Amazing water view, easy to find, comfortable bed and great host! Kent was easy to communicate with and was there to show us how to use the Airbnb. The is even a beautiful fire pit with seating. His place has everything you need! Highly recommend staying there!!
