Beautiful spot. Clean and modern inside. Perfect location. Loved our time here.

Had a lovely peaceful stay, felt right at home. Everything was clean and as described. The inside outside living is fabulous always being a perfect temperature. Annie had thought of everything even beach towels. She also helped us plan some great excursions that we would have known nothing about . We made a little friend while there a very cute green tree frog.

Mick & Lisa's place was great to stay for my family. It was spacious and clean home. It was memorable stay at this place.

5 Stars – Peaceful Rainforest Retreat We had a fantastic stay at Rainforest House Cairns by Peter. The location was serene and surrounded by nature — perfect for relaxing. The house was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a true escape. Peter was a great host, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cairns! Will definitely gonna come back and will recommend to my family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend. Conveniently located and the hosts were friendly and responsive.

We loved our two night stay at escape to the forest. The photos really don't do it justice! So quiet and peaceful, the house is adjacent to a creek where we saw a platypus. Cate is an excellent host and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. We would love to stay here again someday!

Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful and quiet area. Unit was very clean and tidy. Definitely, home away from home. Host made us feel welcome with instructions easy to follow. We really did not want to leave in the end.

Lola & Wayne's apartment is one of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed in. It's spacious and beautifully furnished; the beds were comfy, and both en-suites had beautiful bathrooms & towels. The kitchen was well set up with everything you would need if you wanted to make a meal. Location was brilliant, many Restaurants & Woolworths were just around the corner & Cairns Aquarium was one of the best Aquariums we have been to. We were picked up for all our tours from the doorstep so those early morning pickups were made easy! Also going to the reef as the boats left from the marina below us. We will miss sitting on the balcony looking out over the marina. Lola so kindly picked up a cake for me that I had ordered, such a beautiful surprise for my sister & her husband celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary, thank you Lola, that was much appreciated. Thank you Lola & Wayne for hosting us in your gorgeous apartment, you made our holiday even better than we could have imagined.

It’s a mini paradise of your own with the self contained guest suite of their family home with an outdoor area facing the beautiful rainforest garden. I could’ve watched the birds cleaning in the bird bath for hours. The access to the Johnson River at the bottom of their property is perfect to watch the world go by or to spot a platypus. They’ve got a beautiful family home in a beautiful part of the world. Close to Malanda and Yungaburra, it’s the perfect out of town retreat but still only a short distance to 2 beautiful little towns.

Libby was an amazing host. She was always very responsive and helpful in her suggestions of excursions to make the most out of our trip. The room felt very special as it featured a lot of her own photographs of the reef. It had everything listed and more, with a handful of complimentary snacks and other cooking essentials already provided (i.e. oil, seasonings, foil, etc). All in all, it was a great value and I highly recommend staying here.

Thank you very much for the much needed weekend away! The trip was as relaxing as we could’ve ever hoped for, the bed was comfy and sitting up in the spa watching the sunset was perfect! Can’t recommend enough.

This was by far the most thoughtfully designed Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Bronte has an incredible sense of style, every single detail in the apartment feels carefully considered. Each tiny item fits perfectly with the overall aesthetic. The space is modern and stylish yet feels incredibly warm and welcoming. We felt so comfortable throughout our entire stay. Bronte was also lovely to communicate with. We truly had a wonderful experience and would always come again.

Thankyou Keith for 2 wonderful weeks staying at Beltana Hideaway. The house is in a beautiful quiet street on the edge of the rainforest but only a few minutes walk from the Edgehill shops and restaurants A bus stop close by gives quick access to Cairns city centre. The magnificent Cairns Botanic Gardens and Tank Arts Centre are only 10 minutes walk from the house. The lush gardens and private pool were always welcome on returning from a days excursions . Keith was a friendly and approachable host, We loved our stay and hope to return next year.

A perfect little flat for a short or long stay. It is clean, cosy and has all the essentials. Corianne and Scott were extremely generous in allowing me to extend my stay - I ended up living in the flat for a year! They are kind and helpful hosts always promptly responding and helping me when needed, as well as respecting my privacy. The flat is in a quiet neighborhood with just a few minutes walk to a few small shops to get your essentials, and down to the Ross river which is lovely for a long run or walk. The flat is also perfectly situated nearby the JCU university, JCU Vets or the Townville hospital with only an easy 10 minute drive on the motorway to get there that avoids the traffic. Highly recommend.

Great accommodation. Had everything we needed to attend a sports tournament. Laundry, bathroom and kitchen facilities were perfect. Elisabeth and Dillon were welcoming and friendly hosts. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

I've stayed in many places in Townsville but this spot has to be the most central to the strand. So close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The property is private and secure. All the amenities you can think of & nice towels. Great spot for a short or long stay. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We are so happy that we found this gem. Eileen was great to deal with and her replys were always prompt. The location was fantastic and felt so private. Perfect for us for our 1 week stay on the island to explore.

I only stayed one night but the place was amazing, Antonella was lovely and was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely come stay again when in the area!
