Just fantastic! Everything about our stay in the Bower House was just wonderful. From the accommodation to the surrounding scenery and beautiful native forest, it was just magical. The house was well equipped and we found the two trundle beds/matresses very useful for our two little children. We were lucky enough to see 2 tree kangaroos and platypus during our stay but will have to return again to see the elusive Cassowaries! Thank you Daniel and team for a wonderful stay!

Lovely house and great location at Machan’s beach

The pictures on the listing don't really show how nice this unit actually is. It exceeded our expectations and we were really happy with our stay. The pool and laundry were excellent amenities that were very useful as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dandaloo Gardens. Only a 5 minute walk from bus station making it convenient to get to. Spacious cabin with all facilities needed for our stay including a TV, sofa and a comfortable bed. Great location to explore the island and only a 10 minute walk from the Rock Wallabies. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful stay! Too many great things to list here, however the highlights for us were the friendly staff, gorgeous pool and incredibly comfortable bed! Oh and a 5 min walk to the CBD... it truly is an Oasis in the City. See you guys again soon :)

Well located and perfect for a stopover on a trip. The price is very fair.

I have stayed in Airbnb accommodations all over the world, and the Commonwealth Pub is easily the best I have ever stayed at. The room is in a traditional Australian pub built over a century ago. The rooms are basic but clean, the bathroom is shared and spotless, and the staff are first-rate. The Commonwealth Hotel is a working pub that has an amazing chef who serves incredible restaurant-quality food. There is a pool, a children's playground onsite, and a huge eating area out the back of the main bar. There is live music on weekends and an in-house cafe. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the centre of Townsville City, and it is in a quiet and peaceful part of Townsville with very little noise from the street and traffic. If I could rate the Commonwealth Hotel higher than 5 stars, I would. In a single word, staying at the Commonwealth Hotel was Lovely and I will certainly be staying at the Commonwealth Hotel again in the future.

I visited Townsville to watch NRL and stayed at The Commonwealth. Friendly venue, traditional pub with great menu, cold refreshing brews perfect in the heat. This is great value accommodation. Clean tidy basic living, very functional, ideally located to watch your team play Cowboys. Shuttle bus to and from stadium. Helpful knowledgeable staff, great set up if you have to depart early for flights. Locals love their footy but were philosophical when we won. :D Looking forward to my next visit. Cheers

So hospitable and very helpful. Great budget accommodation. Good rooms, and hot showers. 15 minutes walk to rodeo ground and 20 minutes walk into the centre of Mt Isa. Highly recommended for a budget stay.

Had exactly everything I needed for a simple stay. No frills and great value.

We could not have selected a better place to stay had everything we needed. You were greeted every time you saw a staff member with a smile and a hello 😀Coffee at 6 am morning swim then breakfast all with out leaving the accommodation. Bus stop 200 meters away Bowls club close and really made our stay in Townsville. Thank you Commonwealth Hotel for our stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from us all the way

It would be hard to find a better place to stay! Clean, quiet, fabulous outlook over the ocean, convenient location just a few minutes walk from the ferry, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again 💖

Stunning apartment! We were blown away by how spacious, clean and big it was. Reception were really helpful with recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Excellent location right near Ferry terminal, shops & restaurants. Amazing views of ocean, and excellent pools.

Villa room. 4 bed rooms with 3 separate showers. The place is right in the heart of thr city and very near to the magnetic ferry terminal. Room is a little dusty but otherwise everything is good
