I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb on Macrossan Street in Townsville! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything I needed and surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of the area. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The host was fantastic—responsive, welcoming, and clearly put a lot of thought into making the experience as seamless as possible. I truly appreciated the little touches that made the space feel like home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in Townsville. Highly recommend!

The Ants Nest is a beautiful old cottage that felt homely as soon as you walked through the door. Perfect for family with the beach located directly in front of the property and the lovely foreshore park and playground viewing distance from the front veranda. Highly recommend a stay there

A great home away from home for family + furbaby in Mareeba!

Very cosy home. Had everything we needed and was great to be able to bring our puppy along with a big yard to play in.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside property! The setting was peaceful and relaxing, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. We really appreciated the ample supplies; things like bin bags, dishwashing powder, paper towels, and spray and wipe were all stocked, which made our stay so easy and convenient. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept very well. A fantastic experience overall - we’d happily stay again!

The house was a great find. Centrally located in Ingham, Comfortable, well appointed with everything you need. Perfect for a short or long stay, and plenty of room for a boat. Ours was a fishing trip. A shortish trip to Lucinda to put the boat in. Close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I have two dogs. They loved the space to chase tennis balls and going for walks in the wetlands across the road. Karen was incredibly easy to communicate with. She is friendly, responsive and gracious. Sarah's place was just as described, perfectly simple and just as you would expect and hope for a chill beach holiday or weekender. We all slept well in comfortable beds and enjoyed having meals in the lovely modern beachy kitchen.

A great location for exploring Picnic Bay and the rest of the island! Thank you for allowing our pet to join us for a long weekend. It’s hard to find a spot on the island that will accept pets but is also conveniently located close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

We loved Richard’s beautiful home. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is beautiful and practical, with the two pavilions offering space and privacy. Beautifully clean and in such a handy location to town. Everything about this has the wow factor. We loved the pool, the indoor-outdoor aspects of the decks hallway. Thank you for hosting us. Had a great stay at Shane’s place. Location was perfect being not too far from town but still private enough and pool was great. Nothing was a hassle and Shane is easily approachable for any problems. Most cleaning was perfect with just a few small issues in kitchen and nothing to stop us from visiting Shane’s place again. Great accommodation. Had everything we needed to attend a sports tournament. Laundry, bathroom and kitchen facilities were perfect. Elisabeth and Dillon were welcoming and friendly hosts. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

We loved Andrew’s place. It was only a ten minute drive from anywhere we had to go. We loved the styling it was warm and friendly. It had everything we needed. The kids loved swimming in the pool. Off street parking was great. We will definitely be back.

Walked in and settled just like being at home. Much more comfortable and spacious than a motel. Lots of items displayed that showed the history of the place. Great to be able to have our dogs inside with us. Thank you Milena we will come again

Mia’s place is perfectly located on The Strand - if you have not visited Townsville, this is precisely where you want to base yourself. The apartment is on the second level with views of the ocean and Magnetic Island. It sits across from a water playground (free) and public lap pool (fee-based). The place is easy walking distance of a Coles supermarket and multiple cafes, restaurants and bars. You are also only a short walk to the Magnetic Island Ferry Terminal and Casino. Inside, Mia’s place has every amenity needed to feel at home. Both beds were very comfortable and sit at the rear and away from the bustling esplanade. The place is air conditioned and has fans in the bedrooms and living space. There is a reserved, secure carpark available and a couple of shared visitor carparks (with plenty of street parking out the back for bigger vehicles / trailers). Mia was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay - particularly when we accidentally misplaced the key. We will be back!

Toma was so very accommodating and kind. When we needed help with something she was only minutes away. Toma seemed like a very reasonable person. We loved the Nook. There were so many spaces to retreat to. I read in bed, my partner watched TV and we both spent time on the deck. I thought the Nook was also in a great location. We felt like we had so much privacy too. Thanks for a great stay Toma!

As always, we had a lovley stay with Sally. We stayed in a different room this time, which was excelent as always! Great place for a stop over....great company....very peaceful! We've Sally's!

Really enjoyed our stay at Salt Ayres. We had so many different outings planned on the island but ended up spending most of the time just hanging out at the home, especially in the outdoor and pool area. Such a fun and interactive space for my little family, and an amazing vibe. This is a beautiful and well thought out space, one of the best I've come across. Host is very attentive, thoughtful, and very proactive. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to relax, accommodated two families easily. Everyone loved the space, views, and easy access to the swimming hole. Can 100% recommend!

Lynne and John were great hosts- they were super friendly, very responsive via message and they even kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the bus stop. The studio is a lovely space which was spotlessly clean. It is very well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen as well as beach chairs and towels. The outside terrace is beautiful and a nice space to relax in. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and is only a 15 minute walk from the beach. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!
