Holiday rentals with a kayak in North Louisiana

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

This place is beautiful! Enough room to not feel on top of anyone. Bedrooms spacious and bathrooms good room. See was very responsive and answered very quickly. Would definitely stay here again if I was coming back

BDH Ranch provided a very tranquil getaway for our family. Us city folk loved being greeted by the cattle when we arrived, and the long drive from the gate to the house really made us feel like we were on a ranch. The pond looks beautiful at sunrise, the patio is deep and spacious with a grill area and fireplace, the grass was soft and green - perfect to play catch with our dog - and the gated pool was big and deep. The house was very clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Even though it was private and secluded we always felt safe, we could easily see neighbors from across the pond, and it was just a short 15 min drive to get back to city amenities. Kaleigh was very responsive and kind. Thanks for a great stay!

We slept like the tide at rest, deep and undisturbed, wrapped in the stillness that only true peace can offer. Waking up to soft light and birds singing was the perfect way to start each day. We had a great stay! Beautiful lake view out the back, and very relaxing atmosphere. Several fun things to do on the property. We enjoyed our time at Alana’s!

Bouji overload. this place has us looking for tiny homes to buy and live in. we absolutely loved our stay. just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we started noticing the high quality beds and bedding. Egyptian cotton, sleep number, UGG bedding. it was hot outside but the house was ice cold. closest house on the water to the water. great outdoor living space and while it was not private the neighbors were very friendly. and it's pet friendly. no judgement on the dog type which was huge as as we have a 11 year old boxer that we never leave home. can't wait to go back.

It was a great place to stay for a local tournament

The cabin was amazing and the amenities are amazing. There was a nice place to fish. Great canoes and paddle boards! My kids won’t stop asking when we are going back!

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

Jennifer’s Tiny Emerald backs right up to the bayou! It’s so peaceful and beautiful in a unique kind of way. The cabin is very tiny for six, but our children really enjoyed the top area. The mattress in the main bedroom and top is very comfortable. It’s decorated very cute! It rained a lot while we were there, so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors very much. It looks like there would have been a lot to do if the weather would have been warmer and dryer. But we enjoyed the view and ambiance. Rain hitting the roof, while watching ducks swim around was great for a relaxing December afternoon.

Good communicate, clear instructions, great view and great inlet location 2-3 ft water tons of cypress trees, kayaking was a blast, good fishing areas, cabin is small, but it's newer, clean, and nice quality. Solid place to stay.

Loved this place so much!!! The screened porch on the bayou was EVERYTHING!! :) it’s so peaceful and gorgeous!!!! Love love loved it :)

The place was very spacious, and Beth was a wonderful host! When we had an issue with the AC, she was super responsive and offered a solution right away. The location is convenient, with grocery stores nearby, and the lake view was a lovely bonus. Highly recommend!
