Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Louisiana

The location was great for our trip. It was away from town, but also close enough if you like the city. The house has two washers and dryers, which was awesome, since it was HOT, when we visited, and we glistened ALOT. Great front porch to sit on and enjoy a good southern rain shower. Bedrooms were roomy and quaint. Would stay there, again.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

Everything was as starting in the description. Great house with all you need and more. Highly recommend.

A cozy home in a quiet neighborhood with just as the description said “everything you need”

If you are looking for peaceful and beautiful surroundings, this is it. The home was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The host was responsive to any questions that we had and made the check in process very easy. All in all, I highly recommend.

This house was beautiful and had plenty of space. It had everything that you could need. It had a whole coffee area with almost 10 different types of coffee cups, also regular coffee grounds if you wanted a pot, purified water machine, condiments in the fridge, all seasonings that you would need to cook, and last in a wonderful neighborhood. Also host was very nice. I would definitely stay again.

Place is HUGE! Very comfortable, plenty of room for us, and very quiet. Place had not been swept or vacuumed, bathroom sinks were not clean but no big deal, the microwave was dirty-it looked like Alfredo sauce all over. My kids did find some meds under one of the couches and a few other things under the bed. Definitely a very small town with not a lot to do but it was nice to have some peace and quiet after having softball tournaments all day. Debbie was very responsive and very accommodating, let us check in a bit early since we arrived earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend and consider staying here again!

This was an amazing house - it felt like home walking in the door. Gregory was amazing; made our stay a 10/10 weekend. We would definitely recommend to you this home…absolutely wonderful place and host!

Johnnie was very sweet and welcoming. We enjoyed getting to stay here for a nearby wedding. The space was totally separate and private. The location was convenient for all things Ruston.

Second visit staying at Kellie’s place. This place/host never disappoint. Beautiful loft, great area, lots to see/do. We are already planning our next trip there and will definitely stay with Kelle again.

Everything was just as pictured and described! Only thing that was confusing was that it says 11 check out time but we were told 10. Note walls are thin (because house is older) however we never heard the family next door so it really just depends. Curtains on the house are a thin white curtain. I loved the natural light but note it gets very bright in the house (especially early in the morning). Stores were close to the location so if we needed anything, that was easy. We went mostly for 4th of July and for the battlefield and historical sites. This was an amazing place for that! The literal next door neighbors were setting off commercial grade fireworks so that was interesting 😳. But it was a great day for the 5 days we were there!

Marius and Angelina were exceptional hosts and their place was just has described. Very peaceful location close to everything. They both were quick to respond and kept an eye out for packages that I got delivered and then placed them inside my residence. Exceptional stay. Charles

This has been one of the most pleasant trips I’ve had. From the time I walked in I felt right at home, the place was just as described and to be honest the pictures doesn’t do this place its true justice. Very comfortable and cozy and this will definitely be my go to place when in Shreveport.
