Really enjoyed our stay with Matakana Estate. They were very accommodating, and the house itself is fantastic. Nice and distant from neighbouring properties so noise isn’t an issue, and the proximity to Warkworth is also very handy. Would highly recommend staying!

The villa was one of the best places we stayed on our extended trip to NZ. The fruit and groceries provided were very welcome after a busy day of traveling. Each bedroom was a master suite with beautiful bathrooms. The location was wonderful, with easy access to a private part of the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and location. Home is spotless, modern, but feels very homey. We had 8 adults and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were perfect. Kitchen is gorgeous and wish we had stayed longer to cook. They had bottled water, coffee and tea available for us. Stay Luxe is wonderful to work with. We arrived in Auckland at 2am and Erik was so kind to meet us at 2am to let us in the home. The team went above and beyond to make our vacation the best!

The house was spectacular - views of the lake were stunning, house was beautiful, cosy and spacious. Large comfy bedrooms all with amazing lake views. Lots of walking tracks along the lake which the kids and grownups all enjoyed. The area was very secluded but was also a short drive into town. We stayed with our family (three generations) and it was the perfect set-up. The host Sylvie was really responsive to any questions through out the stay. She has set-up the house up amazingly for guests to having a relaxing holiday - home away from home! Would highly recommend.
