What a great place to spend a few days. Lovely unit that catered for all our needs. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the water and being able to sit on the verandah and enjoy the views. Will come again. Thank you

Had the most fantastic stay here. The lodge was beautiful, fire on waiting for us after biking the Heaphy. Kitchen with everything you’d ever need and clean bathrooms. Stand out was the hot tub on the beach front with a beautiful starry sky. The gardens and surrounds were super well kept and looked after. Simon was a friendly host with good local recommendations. Couldn’t find a better place to stay! Hope to be back!

We loved our stay at Eric’s. It is a perfect base for exploring Abel Tasman which we did. Sharing the kitchen worked well and we met people from all over the world. It is always lovely to chat to people who also love travelling. There was plenty of space to sit outside and the gardens were beautiful. It did look slightly different to the photos as they were obviously taken a few years ago and lots of the bushes etc have now grown quite a bit but I was still able to recognise it from the photos. Breakfast is plentiful with eggs from Barb’s chickens and lots of options of bread, pastries and cereals. The bed was massive and the shower super powerful! We would definitely recommend and will visit again if we manage to return to NZ!

Beautiful rural location with wonderful views across harbour. Cottage immaculate, well appointed. Pool, spa and games room all clean well presented. Gracious welcoming hosts. One of nicest airbnb we have utilised.

I normally leave 5 stars because everything is fine or as expected, but I would leave this place 6 stars if I could. It’s far and away the best AirBnB I have stayed at. The place itself is very tranquil, homey and a great spot to unwind, yet also only 5 minutes into town for restaurants. Melana was such a great host from offering a welcome drink and snack, to giving local restaurant suggestions, to providing a choice of hot breakfast in the morning. I only stayed one night, but would definitely seek her place out again the next time I’m back in the area.

What an amazingly hand crafted house this is!! Jen greeted us so warmly and gave us a wonderful run down of the features and history of the barn. We were really inspired by Dowie and Jen’s creativity and self-sufficiency. Jen’s suggestion to check out a local private hot mineral pool was SO GOOD!! Our family loved the experience of spending time in a naturally heated pool with revitalising minerals. A truly unique experience staying here and a great location to visit Hobbiton!

I think the main highlight was the hospitality of this place. I think we actually checked in 30 minutes earlier than expected due to our bus arriving early. Once checking out the next day, since I wasn’t from Rotorua, the host let me leave my bags at reception and go for a wander to explore. The host also let me stay after my check in time to do work in the office. The only downside was the hotness of the room, they had a fan to combat this. The price was a bit steep but it was a good location.

Amazing place to stay at! Very close to many eating options along the Viaduct, beautiful views with the sunrise and Sky Tower at night. Had a lovely host/receptionist greet us. Will highly recommend to anyone!

Very nice place, friendly hosts and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable and my children enjoyed the space. I liked that they had SKY and the good channels too ☺️ restaurants and supermarket within walking distance! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you!!!!

The Moon Gate Villa completely exceeded expectations. My partner and I were very well looked after. Our room was vey comfortable and cosy, with a lovely garden right outside our door. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful guesthouse adjoining the hosts’ main residence. Private and quiet, with a spectacular view down into the bay – photos just don’t do it justice! We opted for the delicious continental breakfast. Kitchen facilities are basic (no cooking) but were adequate for our needs. Hosts Sharon and Andrew were lovely and on hand if we needed anything. Overall a lovely stay.

Stayed with Jeanette for one night and it was delightful. Herself and her husband were a pleasure to talk to. The place was spotless, private and gorgeous and they made me feel right at home.

Enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean, room was serviced well on request. The location was great and walkable to many Kerikeri highlights.

A truly memorable stay. The spacious rooms were modern and well presented with luxurious furniture, blinds and curtains creating ambience, yet warm and comfortable. The big bed also had luxe linen and a choice of pillows. The same attention to detail was applied to the complimentary food. We were spoilt with an array of sweets and beverages on arrival. Breakfast was also a feast for the eyes, with a vaiety of flavours and generous servings. The quaint ensuite had the same luxurious linen and bathroom products. The private, large, outdoor spa (and candles) were appreciated and added to our getaway. The location was perfect, only minutes drive to a supermarket, chemist and bar. The lovely, landscaped property was private and secure. Everything we needed and the hosts were very obliging.

Overall I really enjoyed staying here. It was well worth the cost paid, central to amenities, modern. Absolutely loved the shower! Would stay again, highly recommended

Staff had a great stay at the airbnb and the owner allowed pets which was great. - not bad feedback about the place from the staff member. Please make it more clear about the cost of pets as we booked 2 nights with a pet, but this only included a charge for 1 of the nights so was abit confusing. Thanks for having them stay!
