Karen’s place was ideal for our weekend ski trip. Great location, all the right amenities, responsive host. Karen also provided great information on events around town and shuttle services. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Lake Placid and found the place very comfortable and well situated. I would stay here again. Check in was easy, and the property manager was very attentive and helpful. Please note their office closes at 6pm, so be sure to call if you're are not going to be able to check in before then. Thanks Gary!

I recently watched an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. All I can say is "We'll be back". The accommodation was perfect for us. The Guide House felt like a cottage, cozy and warm, within a beautiful town Lake Placid. The host, Karen, was kind and communicative. The location is superb. Our family vacation was great. Thank you.

Highly recommend Gary’s place. Ideal location just off Main St and walkable to everything in Lake Placid plus 15 min drive to Whiteface Mtn. It’s very spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We plan to return!

The place was perfect for our family and their needs! The kitchen had everything we needed to prep a meal and the jacuzzi and sauna were great after a few long days at the ice hockey rink. Very spacious for five. Can't beat the location either!

Very cozy place. The bed was soooo comfy! Kate was very accommodating, friendly and responsive! Would absolutely book with her again!

This is the 2nd time we have rented this house. It is really great for a family stay and really good value.

This was our first trip to Lake Placid so we didn’t know anything about the location of this unit. However we were very pleased as it was within walking distance to many restaurants, stores and attractions surrounding Mirror Lake. The check in process was very easy and we were provided a great packet of information about local happenings for the week. We had a minor issue with an ironing board but it was resolved quickly. Gary’s place was as described and there was nothing out of order. Gary also provided a binder with even more attractions and hiking trails in the surrounding Lake Placid area. There was plenty of parking close to the unit and there was even 4 EV charging stations nearby. We packed our beach chairs and it was a short walk to the beach on Mirror Lake. The unit was clean and very comfortable and it felt like home. I would absolutely stay here in the future.

Loved this place! Perfect for a weekend in Lake Placid with friends. So pretty and easily walkable.

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

Gary’s place was just as described. This was our second time staying in one of Gary’s properties. He was easy to get in touch with. The updated kitchen was great. You can’t beat the location and the views!

Very nice condo in a perfect location

It was overall a lovely stay and the place was perfect for the occasion. Much closer to town than expected, it’s like a 10min walk into the center of town. Felt right at home and made a few meals. The fireplace made it all perfect. Mostly everything needed was available, would suggest bring your own blanket, towels, first aid kit. Everyone was comfortable and just felt lucky to have such a nice spot for the family to enjoy lake placid. Check in and out was easy. Would def recommend.

Great location, very close to Mirror Lake and downtown. Place was clean, well maintained and is what you want a LP stay to be.

Gary’s place was everything we were looking for: wonderful view from the porch, great location, in a quiet area with plenty to do and within walking distance to many local attractions and restaurants. The space was clean, inviting, and well furnished and we would definitely stay again when in the area!

We loved Lauren’s home! We needed a place near Leddy Park for a tennis tournament and a place that would welcome dogs. Lauren’s place was in a peaceful Burlington neighborhood and had a sweet fenced- in yard for the dogs to play in. Lauren was incredibly responsive and allowed us an early check-in, which was super helpful for us. We would definitely stay there next time we were in Burlington.

This house was a great spot for our family of four (and our dog!) to base out of while skiing Gore and Whiteface and visiting Lake Placid. We enjoyed having lots of space and appreciated the modern bathrooms and kitchen. We also appreciated that the house is walking distance from the grocery store, shops, and restaurants. The grocery store in town is good and we had a fun dinner out at Sticks & Stones. The hosts were very responsive any time we had questions. Thanks for a great stay! We’d love to come back in the summer…seems like a great lake town!

David’s place was amazing. It had all the necessary amenities, and plenty of space for everyone. I was there with my family and friends, and we felt right at home. It is in close walking distance to the town park and downtown area. I would highly recommend David’s place to anyone visiting the Schroon Lake area.

I absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. There is plenty of room and it’s the best location. It was perfect to be able to use the garage for our bikes we brought. The bike shop is also next store if we needed anything. I also loved how close the lake was. A hop skip and a jump to get there. The huge deck was fun to hang out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back next year!

The house was very comfortable and well furnished. The Murphy bed in the office/bedroom was not quite as expected. Luckily there was plenty of room in the basement for my kids to sleep on the couch. The Murphy bed was not functional for sleeping. Everything was well stocked and we really appreciated having soaps And items available.

My mates and I had a bit of a spur of the moment adventure to Vermont, and this spot was exactly what we needed! Plenty of space and an amazing kitchen for us to cook and relax. Views outside are gorgeous, and the house itself is too! Wouldn’t mind staying here again if we happen to go back again :)

This house was perfect for our family get together. We had young kids to grandparents and everyone had a great time- there was plenty of space to hang out inside the house and the patio/lawn/dock outside. We loved being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards during the day and have campfires in the evening. Communication with James was very easy, I highly recommend this house!
