Lovely property and very friendly/ helpful hosts. Left a note for partners birthday which was a lovely touch, and the property was spotless… not even a streak on the mirrors! Very pleased with our stay and definitely worth the price

We had a great week at the cottage,everything was exactly as described and more. There were Two bathrooms which I could see from the photos but an added bonus of a downstairs cloakroom was very useful for me personally. I have osteoarthritis and stairs are extremely difficult for me. The location was perfect most places were just a short drive away. Would definitely book again.

Our stay was great. The hot tub was lovely and the garden was beautiful. Penny also very kindly made us a cake which was delicious. Penny lives at the other side of the house and was there if we needed anything (even sun tan lotion). We booked this place for a chilled hen do and it was perfect. Would stay again. Thanks for having us Penny!

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. What a gorgeous cottage with everything you need. We were looking for a quiet location for walking in the area and this certainly matched that. Sitting on the patio looking at the garden was a joy. Very friendly hosts who were there if we needed them. Highly recommend.

We have just stayed here for our honeymoon, eckington is so beautiful!! it’s a great little lodge to stay in & the hot tub is an added bonus and great after long days of walking etc. it was a good hub for all the outside activities most places like chatsworth, Bakewell, hardwick hall, Matlock and so on were between 20-40mins drive away so perfect for the day trips out. There were some lovely pubs and a little Italian in the village & Aldi is literally around the corner to stock up the fridge! The lodge itself was very clean, and a well equipped kitchen for at home meals/lunch making for days out. The only addition I would say that a spare blanket would be lovely for when chilling on the sofa! Rebecca was wonderful and anything you needed she was more than happy to accommodate! Would 100% recommend for a doggie or non doggie holiday away 🦮🐶

Great cottage in a wonderful location, handy for Chatsworth, Bakewell etc Clear instructions and good communications. The main bedroom was lovely, it is very large and has a wardrobe and drawers. Everything was perfect for us.

We had a lovely time staying at Craig’s very homely place. Great city centre location with bars and restaurants just a quick walk up the road and convenient parking right outside. The flat was comfy and well Equipped, instructions were all clear and I really got the impression Craig cared that we had a good stay. Thanks Craig!

Had an amazing few days walking around all the peaks, with this beautiful place to come back to in the evenings and play some cards and go to the recommended pubs. Really friendly host with lots of good recommendations. Will defo be visiting again! Thank you for a great trip.

Travelling during a heatwave, Flore's pad was just what I needed. A simple, cool, stylish, and very comfortable place to relax after a long day. Communication was spot on and instructions for getting in and checking out all very clear, with plenty of local tips offered on arrival together with a map. The local area is pleasant, and pretty walkable. I was able to cycle comfortably from here into town each day - with Flore allowing me to bring my bike in for added security. I particularly enjoyed having my own private garden to relax in over breakfast and the inclusion of a digital radio, toaster, tea and coffee supplies really made my stay. I'm sure I'll be back. perfect location for a little exploring in the city, everything was so close and yet still a very nice comfortable and quiet place to stay :)

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. A beautiful place to stay, with everything you need, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful residential area. Comfy bed, good shower, clear instructions and most of all a very generously stocked kitchen – which just makes you feel at home. And even better, the place stayed nice and cool during a heatwave! Lisa is quick to respond, including to an amend to dates. Airbnb done right!

An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

Great weekend just what we need to suit our requirements of ground floor and walk in shower.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Liz and Tom’s place! They are always there to help you and it’s like a home away from home! 10/10 and would highly recommend!

Great place to stay for access to Sherwood Forest and surrounding area. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Lovely and clean , well equipped property. Private little suntrap .

Beryl and her son are wonderful people ,they are super friendly .I loved the apartment it was sparkling clean and fresh smell ,bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you would need is provided .The garden is fabulous and very dog friendly. The area has lots of great walks ,the nature reserves are wonderful. felt very safe and relaxed and cannot wait to return . Thank you so much Beryl ☺️
