The cottage was lovely & Rod & Helen were the perfect hosts, very friendly & gave us lots of information about the area. We had a lovely weekend, just wished we could have stayed longer!

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. They felt incredibly welcome and throughly enjoyed their stay, they’d definitely return! Thank you Sarah for providing such a lovely home for their stay!

Lee and her partner were so friendly and helpful, she suggested places given the weather which we greatly appreciated & meant we saw more in the area than initially planned. Their place is so cosy and homely, it has everything you need for time in the Peak District and I would return again as its a great base for exploring the area further and place to relax after an adventure. We were only staying one night so not much opportunity to explore the area. Accommodation was very well thought out and perfect for 2 people. Beautiful view from the balcony - wished we were staying longer! Make sure you screen shot the get-in instructions (which were very clear). I failed to do this and had to disturb Clare to let us in as I couldn’t get online. I chose it for proximity to the Canine Partners national training centre and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I were to make another visit

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. She communicated all the way from the moment of our booking to the end of our stay. Location is perfect, snuck away from Dronfield Town, but close enough to walk to the many signposted country walks and local pubs/eateries. Short drive, train or bus to Chesterfield and easy commute to Sheffield. Lots of walkable trains and buses. Easy drive (and public transport available too) to the many scenic attractions in Derbyshire. Walkable Convenience Store and gas station is just a minute away.

Had the most wonderful stay in this little oasis. The space was beautiful with lots of colour and character, along with a file of thoughtfully written guide of everything you'll need to know. Lisa was also very accommodating and super responsive throughout, especially over check in/out days. We stayed only for the weekend but could imagine this place being a great option for longer term stay as well. The neighbourhood in general is gorgeous and quiet, very close to Brocco Park which is a beautiful walk and relatively well connected to public transport. We chose to walk mostly and took around 30minutes on average to get to most of where we want to go. Highly recommend!

A Lovely place to stay...Everyone so friendly including the animals. The animals all want to greet us,the star for us was the large pig.When we arrived through the electric gate we where greeted with a huge pig which was funny and brilliant,normally a dog or 2..(pig is fenced off 😀) The daughter Betty kindly took us on a tour to see the animals,very knowledgeable indeed...thank you!! My wife is very poorly,and this lovely place was a fantastic experience for her due to everything being relaxed and special Overall best place we have ever visited,didn't want to leave.. An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Our second time staying here with our dog, and we couldn't fault it. Fab communication and the place has everything you need for a short break. It is the perfect location to explore the Peak District!

The house is within a lovely, peaceful place, where you can easily take buses to the Chatsworth house. The studio is super clean, almost spotless and very safe (I’m a female traveler who travels alone and totally feel safe here). Ms Deborah is very nice and she provided milk, cereal, energy bar to make you feel at home:) Definitely recommend!
