West Auchenhean, Rosie's Cottage

FlorenceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My friend and I chose this cottage for a quiet getaway with our dogs and it was just what we hoped it would be. We were welcomed by Barbara and Graeme upon arrival and they were very kind and helpful if we had any queries at all. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The views from the bedrooms were stunning and there were plenty walks nearby the property, which were especially lovely in the evening with the sunsets. It was the perfect scenic escape we needed. Thank you Barbara and Graeme (and Rosie the golden retriever of course!).

4 Bed in AYR (90038)

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked this cottage as a meeting place for family coming together for a wedding in Ayr. Half from Buckinghamshire in England and the other half flying in from Austin Texas. Youngest 25 and eldest nearly 90! The accommodation was a perfect fit for us all. Plenty of space to spread out. Gorgeous, peaceful outlook to sit and watch the wildlife or to take a stroll along the path to the front of the property. Local restaurant The Holly Bush is very close, with wonderful views. Food was delicious and the owner super friendly and welcoming. Dumfries House is well worth a visit. With its free gardens to explore and take in nature. Plenty to keep all ages entertained. We also visited the beach at Maidens. Paddled in the sea, strolled along the pathway to take in a drink at the Ropes Bistro. A visit in to Lagg, another stroll along the seafront and a stop for tea and scones at Nardini's which is best known for its Ice Cream. Loch Doon Castle is worth a visit to take in the scenery alone.

cow boy Cabin - uk47145

JoyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
🌟 5 stars – A Peaceful Cabin with a Champion Host! We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful barn cabin tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Uplawmoor. The cabin was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. But what truly made the experience special was David, our incredible host. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He even joined us for a tennis match — and completely wowed us with his skills! When we had a small issue with the Wi-Fi, David responded immediately and brought a backup solution without hesitation. That kind of responsiveness and care is rare and really appreciated. If you’re looking for a scenic getaway with a personal touch and a host who genuinely cares, this place is a gem. Thank you, David — we’ll definitely be back (and we’re still talking about that tennis game!).

Such a lovely stay here! Robert was a great help with good recommendations for local walks/food. Ge very kindly started the Thot tub for us when we went out for the day so it was ready for us when we got back. The hot tub is lovely and was definitely the highlight for us, we will be back!

Little Arches - S4665

PamelaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I was slightly concerned with some of the previous bad reviews however I needn't have been. I Cottage was lovely, perfectly clean and while the are some minor cosmetic issues, they didn't in any way detract from our stay. A lovely home away from home and would happily stay again. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Pirnmill Home with a view

CaroleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This little cottage is located in an ideal setting opposite a pebble beach which my Beardie absolutely loved. The sound of the gentle lapping of the waves was so soothing in the evenings. Whilst the cottage is not close to many amenities it was only a shortish drive to everywhere. The scenery all around was absolutely stunning and Sue was a mind of information and recommendations. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed a very welcome break at Rose cottage - our 4 legged friend enjoying the most!

Ashdale Cottage | Sauna | Games Room | Woodland

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Excellent cottage. There are 3 cottages connected on the site which share a games room/laundry room. Unfortunately the sauna has not yet been finished so were not able to use it, but otherwise was brilliant. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Has an especially well kitted out kitchen which was useful for our party of 6. Very well located. Would definitely go back. Thank you!

Lamlash Cottage with Spectacular Views

GayleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a wonderful stay in picturesque Lamlash, the cottage was a perfect base for exploring the island. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate at the Drift inn for two nights which we booked online. We loved sitting out at the front of the cottage in the evening watching the world go by. We will definitely return! 😊.

The Coach House at Stewart Hall

CatherineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
An absolutely amazing property, located down a pretty driveway, with gorgeous planting all around. Our immediate reaction on arrival was just, wow! It is a truly beautiful, spectacular property both inside and out. High ceilings; spacious areas; and tasteful, elegant furnishings flow throughout the entire property. The upstairs area was a fabulous place for a couple or children to use. Self contained via a spiral staircase, it has its own living room and shower room. My daughter (11) loved it! We spent 3 nights at The Coach House and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The ever-changing view across to the Isle of Arran and Inchmarnock is just breathtaking, and we did, in fact, sit and stare at it for a solid half hour on one occasion. They are knowledgeable, and also provide a plethora of books on Scotland and the area, which I found riveting. Karen and her husband, David, are hospitable and friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and available. We will be back!

Coorie Lodge

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My partner and I, together with our dog, really enjoyed our stay. Debbie is very responsive on messages, however, we did not encounter any issues which we required her assistance with. The instructions provided made finding the property very easy. The property is located on a beautiful coastline. The private beach/bay was perfect to end a day after exploring the area. We also enjoyed taking ferries to the Isle of Bute and Tarbert.

Remote and cosy cottage with great views

BenRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Had a wonderful time in Arran, there are lots of exciting walk and things to do nearby. The cottage has a great set of amenities and is very well presented and clean. although the dogs next door can get excited during the day, they do calm down at night. Also be careful on the dirt road up. Thank you to Sandra for hosting us, we had a wonderful time.

SarahRating, 5 stars44 months ago
We had a fantastic relaxing couple of days. The cottage was lovely, the location was ideal and the grounds were great with a fabulous walled garden, woodland walk and games to play on the lawn. We would definitely recommend it as a relaxing place to stay. It is in a quiet peaceful location but with port Bannatyne, walks, park etc all right there.
