Waterfront holiday rentals in North Aegean Region

Armenistis is the perfect location to base your holiday. You’ll need a hire car to get around but the town is well placed in the middle of the north coast. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk and some nice local shops. The beaches nearby are also wonderful. The host was very attentive and helpful and the sea view from the apartment was lovely.

We absolutely loved this place, it was spacious, beautiful, very high end with carefully thought out furnishings and everything to make us feel comfortable, the views were to die for and we felt very special sitting on the balcony and watching the sea. The linens were top notch and it was wonderful to have an oversized towel. Panagiotis has catered for everything. We lived staying here and would recommend

We loved our stay here! We do reccomend a car if you are staying, it made exploring Samos a lot more easy as by foot it may have been impossible and more expensive, the place was good enough to stay in for a day or 2 with the amazing pool and view especially during sunset! The hosts were responsive and kind people, the husband gave us some home made wine when we arrived and a tote bag when we left!

We had no trouble communicating with Thalia. She responded to our messages in a timely manner and adequately. We loved the location of the house, the view was great! We were able to get everywhere on foot. There is a grocery store in the back of the house and very reasonably priced. We went to the balcony for coffee at every opportunity, but we couldn't fully enjoy it due to the wind, it was really windy when we were in Lesvos. So the balcony was not very convenient for us, unfortunately. Kitchen utensils were sufficient, all basic things. We discovered Greek coffee thanks to Thalia:) She was a helpful, caring lady as written in the comments. Since it was not summer yet, the house was cold in the evening/night and the air conditioning worked a lot. We also had no problem with the hot water. Some comments mention the issue of noise and smoking. We didn't hear any noise and never smell cigarettes, there was no smell to the apartment we were in. It was the most amazing vacation I've had in a long time. Right on the waterfront. The airport is very close and it may deter some from choosing the place, but it is not a problem. There are not many flights to and from Samos. Everything was as it should be and I would love to come again, if possible.

Very well located in the city, spacious for two , on the top floor with a beautiful terrace on the sea; free parking nearby; just knowing that the top floor to walk up is very steep! Unforgettable stay we will come back for sure!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Maria’s place in Chios. The location was perfect, quiet, scenic, and close to the beach and the town. We had a wonderful stay. It was great that the house had its own private section on the beach. You can find everything you need within walking distance—nice restaurants, live music, and pubs. We stayed here last year as well and were very happy again. Markus had prepared everything we might need.

This was such a great house with a perfect host! We have stayed there as two families and Erini helped us with all our needs from child-proofing the house to sleeping arrangements. She was very friendly, very helpful and responded quickly to all our questions. House has a big garden and a nice beach just outside. It has all the amenities you can ask for. It’s a newly renovated house with a clean interior. I would strongly recommend it for everyone, especially to families.

Nana is a really friendly and helpful host. She welcomed us with cake and tea:) We felt at home. The rooms are also very clean. The next morning, she offered pancakes and omelettes, she is very thoughtful and thoughtful. We stayed for 1 night, but if I come back, I will definitely stay here:) I recommend it to everyone:)

We had a great time at Menelaos’ apartment. It's only a few steps down to the beach and the apartment had everything we needed. Out of season there were hardly any other people and we had the beach almost to ourselves. The minimal traffic in front of the apartment seemed very noisy at first, but we quickly got used to it. We can definitely recommend it.

Absolutely loved our stay in Michael’s house! So peaceful and incredible views. We hired a van for our family of 8, like another review mentioned, it was too long to get round into the drive, we parked opposite in a little ‘lay-by’. Agios Isidoros lived up to its reputation, particularly if you walk back along the seafront and sit under some trees for shade. Olive wood House was great and they even let us have a go with sanding! Mythos in Plomari is a brilliant taverna, especially if you have children who aren’t particularly adventurous with what they eat. Very friendly people there. Melinta beach worth a visit- a bit run down but fun to jump off the rock if you have the courage! (I didn’t- my daughter did!) All in all a brilliant property to stay in, very useful to have washing machine etc. loved the air conditioning, cooler downstairs than up. Thank you very much Michael for making the special holiday possible!

This apartment is both amazingly located and beautifully appointed. Xanthippi is an amazing host, providing just the right level of being available without being too much. VERY clear instructions for check in and check out, and she provides great guides on the island in a book in the apartment. Will 100% stay again the next time I come to Chios!

The hosts are definitely very helpful, communicative and very, very nice and accommodating. We felt at home in the apartment. What can I say about the view from the balcony? I think you have to experience it yourself. We spent great days there. 1 minute from the apartment is a public parking lot that is free and the center is also 2 minutes away. Everything is great. You can't go wrong renting this apartment. Glad to come back!

We were two couples, we found a large and clean apartment, fully equipped, with two comfortable bedrooms. We didn't miss anything. We enjoyed the huge terrace, every morning we had breakfast overlooking the adjacent archaeological site. Easy parking in front of or next to the house. The location is excellent, between the Riha Nera for a relaxed swim and beach bar, and Romeiko Gialos for a walk, food, drink, ice cream and views of the Castle. All within two - three minutes walking distance. Nearby there is a market, bakery, kiosk, everything you need. Very good value for money, friendly and direct communication hosts. The building at first glance is not so well cared for, but that didn't affect us at all, we had an amazing stay.

Eleni's place was great value for money. Located at the perfect little town of armenistis, it was very peaceful but still close to amazing beaches, great restaurants and just a 20min drive from the big town of Evdilos. I would definitely recommend!

Small but nice, if you just like it on vacation. We felt super comfortable. Not too much frills but still cozy. The terrace is beautiful, just because you are directly connected to the harbor and the extremely friendly neighbors. Nevertheless, you somehow have your peace and quiet. This is pure Greece and the view of the bay is also a dream. It is possible to swim in the harbor basin or 10 steps further in the other bay. There are many swimming opportunities, with the most beautiful pebbles I have ever seen. The hiking routes are great but unfortunately only partially signposted. Yannis has a hiking guide there. It's better to rely on the phone. Then you will be rewarded with a diverse nature. We will definitely be back

This is our second year staying here and we love it. Perfect for peace and quiet and right next to the sea. The accommodation has everything we need and the hosts Rena and Nikos are very friendly and helpful. The beach bar is five minutes walk if you want sun loungers and drinks and snacks, and Komi is 20 mins walk for restaurants, bars and a more vibrant beach. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful place to stay.

Location, location, location. Very centrally positioned in the village, everything was only a stones throw from the apartment. Dia was very hospitable and quick to answer any questions and had plenty of suggestions for places to eat and visit. Had a great stay and would definitely stay again.
