We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

This was a wonderful stay that offers you the best of both worlds. A quaint, peaceful rural home yet driveable to bigger tourist areas. Jose was such a welcoming host and we appreciated our arrival treats and his graciousness even with our late arrival. The history to the home is unique and adds another layer of warmth to the stay. The home was clean and the beds comfy. The shower had good pressure and a good supply of hot water. It has a functional kitchen as well as a grill outside that we made good use of. The pool was absolutely lovely after a long day of touring. We enjoyed evening games of euchre in the loft area but note that even if you aren’t tall, remember to duck as there’s a low beam. We highly recommend this stay and would return without hesitation!

Ideal accommodation to enjoy the experience of seeing how people live in a Portuguese village. The house is perfect for a few days in summer, when you can take advantage of the pool and eat outdoors. The kitchen is completely authentic, and although the rest of the house is also furnished like my grandparents' house, it doesn't have as much charm. Emilia is a sweetheart. If you're thinking of touring the region, it's a good option.

Paulo was very welcoming & communicated at every stage from booking through to our stay & departure. He was not intrusive but always available if required. The place was immaculately clean, well stocked and very comfortable. He recommended several places of interest that were all worth visiting. The Toy Museum in Seia was a trip down memory lane and the Bread Museum was very interesting. Thank you Paulo for a great stay in Seia. We would highly recommend Paulo’s accommodation.

Amazing stay with an even more amazing host 🥹 I have to highlight Inês' friendliness and availability from start to finish. The space is exactly what it promises: calm, relaxing and unique! With many nooks and crannies to discover, friendly animals, an incredible pool and nature in its purest form! We couldn't find a place that would allow our dog to enter the pool and Quinta da Emília allowed it and made Joca's experience even better! In addition, we were also able to receive family, including our 2-year-old godson, who also took great advantage of everything the farm has to offer 😊 ahh! We still "stole" some peaches to bring as a souvenir 🤭 It was amazing and we highly recommend it!!! 😁 A huge thank you to Inês ❤️

Our stay at Casa dos Mirtilos in Germil was truly wonderful. Such a beautiful, peaceful location on the outskirts of a charming mountain village. Perfect for wildlife lovers. The garden was full of birdsong and butterflies, we even had breakfast visit from a pine marten! Bring your binoculars. There are lots of paths and quiet mountain roads for walking. Daniela was a brilliant host and was very responsive to messages and gave us good recommendations for local gastronomic delights. We had a wonderful week and would encourage anyone who loves being out in nature to stay at Casa do Mirtilos. Thank you Daniela.

AMAZING! Looks better then the pictures, the view and sunset are amazing. The place is really big and has everything you need for a peaceful get a way. Cousin Susie is very responsive and helpful. The swimming pool is very big and the view is also very nice from there. Best Airbnb we had! Thanks again!

Great stay with our two dogs! The scenery is beautiful. The house full of stories. The pool is a real plus. The neighborhood is very friendly. There are two many walks to do in the area and many with swimming nooks. We recommend 100%!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Wonderful beds and linen. Pool was very well kept and great for a refreshing dip. Hosts were very friendly and had great recomendations. The view across the valley was outstanding. Short drive to Pinhao. The owners offered us their own wine and port which was delicious.

This property is hosted by a wonderful family who truly go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay. Their hospitality made all the difference. I’ll definitely be returning—hopefully sooner rather than later! Highly recommend both the property and the host family.

We spent some incredible days in the cottage... the accommodation is perfect for disconnecting... animals, nature and privacy. The upper part connects to paths where you can walk or even go to the River and Village area. Top... we will definitely repeat. Adrian, thank you for your communication and help.

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! The whole place is amazing, very quiet and peaceful, good for a nice vacation or a quick getaway! The property is well maintained and there’s a lot of different things to do inside. The host is very nice and really helpful, it was great and we are happy to come back again!

Our family stay at Casa Da Touça was wonderful! The home was perfect, it had everything we needed for our week stay. The beds were so comfortable. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was spotless and well maintained. Our kids swam daily for hours and had so much fun. We also spent every night on the patio watching the sun set across the mountains. Maria is so kind and welcoming, we were greeted with such hospitality and a delicious spread of pastries and breads. We felt like family. She is so passionate about her guests comforts. Maria is very responsive to any questions. She provided a number of guidebooks and pamphlets of places and restaurants to visit close by. Casa Da Touça is a gem and we highly recommend it!!

The house with garden, chickens, cats and turkeys seemed like a little paradise to us. We enjoyed the pool incredibly charmingly and were able to cook deliciously with the equipment. It is incredibly green in the area and a swim in the river (Lima) was a wonderful experience. A good starting point to go to the mountains or to the coast, as well as sweet towns around and also not far from Porto. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation and were all totally satisfied. Enjoy the place and the time there, it's not difficult at all.
