Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

The home was beautiful, great location with an amazing view out to the archipelago. It has everything that you would need, and more! The jacuzzi was a great touch, something we used later in the evening when the boats go through the water in front of you. Markus was a great host, and gave the perfect introduction to the area with lot's of tips. Really happy we booked this place, we will be back again!

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

Lovely peaceful place. Short drive to bus into Stockholm. No restaurants close by but we were happy to cook at home. A few more condiments would have been very handy. Because we were resting, it would have been nice to have some footstools and coffee tables. All in all very nice. And very good communication with host.

We really enjoyed our stay: the house is very cozy as if you are staying at your friends’s place. We got lucky with some snow so kids enjoyed sledging down the road, and we enjoyed the sauna near the lake. It was a wonderful winter vacation, thanks Ola

We had a great holiday here. The location is beautiful, as is the house as well as practical and the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bjorn's tour of the house and property was instructive and welcoming. And both Bjorn and Stina were very responsive to questions including when one of our party needed emergency dental treatment. The recommendations were also very useful. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake and spent a lot of time on the paddle board, kayak and boat. Would happily recommend.

We had a great stay at Patrik's, the neighborhood is very nice, quiet, peaceful and charming. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and the bus stop is also nearby. Patrik gave us all the necessary instructions for our arrival and to get around during our stay. The cabin is very welcoming and is equipped. We didn't need anything more. This stay was a very good time, a very nice discovery of the city of Stockholm and its inhabitants, the pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful landscapes. Thank you Patrik for having us at your place. I highly recommend the Vardmo hut.

Beautiful island house in nature with large terrace, (warm) outdoor shower and outdoor toilet with water views! During the Swedish summer holidays there are numerous ferry connections and on the main island some restaurants, from mid-August at least the Coop. Unfortunately, the beach house is not part of the rental, but a nice large jetty. The house is better accessible by boat than via the forest path.

Cosy cottage on a calm and beautiful island

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We had a nice weekend stay in this cozy house in the countryside that unfortunately had to be interrupted early due to illness. Great nice and very helpful hosts and there neighbors (many thanks again!), made beds and a fireplace that burned when we arrived, as well as lovely surroundings. We walked to the marina and swimming bay in brilliant sun, it took about 15 minutes and it was easy to find. We are more than happy to come back!

This is a fantastic place! We stayed for a week and the place had everything we needed. I can particularly recommend Ylva's place for families with small children as the little garden is great for playing. Drottningholm may seem far from the city but it worked well for us. The nearest metro station is just a 5-minute bus drive away. This is the perfect little cottage if you're looking somewhere peaceful to stay. We couldn't have been happier!

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Henrik's place. Excellent location, very straightforward to locate, and easy from arrival to departure. Would recommend without hesitation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! The highlight of the property is the huge back deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. The large swimming pool adds to the charm, creating a perfect relaxation spot. Sigtuna itself is enchanting, with its quaint streets and rich history. The house embodies this charm, making it a delightful retreat. The peaceful location truly enhances the experience, allowing for a tranquil getaway. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting. You won't be disappointed!

We had quiet and relaxing days. The cottage is slightly elevated, the neighboring houses are not far away, but you still feel private. The house was very clean. The surroundings are quiet. A plus is the private pool. It was great for the kids. The photos are not entirely up-to-date and no photos are visible in the online guest manual. The hosts were great. Very friendly and accommodating. Alex even put the pool into operation, even though we were there in May. We were able to relax well. In summer, when the nights are short, you have to know that the roller blinds only close pretty well. Sensitive people will wake up early. We can recommend the accommodation in nature at Djurö. And also the bakery in the village.

Everyone who was there was completely shocked and positively surprised. It was like a dream come true. 🔥

We were group of six and loved our stay in this beautiful house. Very spacious bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Extra nice outside area as well plus the pool.Great location for us and everything we needed in short distance. We highly recommend this house for others.

For nature lovers a dream, we had squirrels from time to time on the balcony. Deer who ran by at your doorstep. The trip to the island itself was also always very relaxing with the ferry. Shopping nearby. Tomas took great care of us and if what happened, he immediately made an effort to arrange. We were well received and looked after by an employee on site, he also gave us great tips for the area just great thank you. We were welcome and well taken care of, it couldn't be better. Incredibly nice house, and perfect for larger groups! The spa area, jacuzzi and pool were the icing on the cake!

The house is amazing an ideal place for families! We had a wonderful stay at Jonas' house. The bed was comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the water. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing getaway.
