Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

We had a great stay, Hans is a great host quick to respond and friendly . Fishing on the lake is very good and kayak and canoe and even a boat are at disposal . The cabin have everything needed . We greatly recommend it and will happily go back .

We had a fantastic stay at Vätö. As soon as we opened the door, we felt that "wow, we will enjoy it here" The kitchen is perfect for cooking together (we were 7), the cottages have great common areas with large dining tables, lovely sofa group and good board games. The cottage also has lots of activities such as a really good barbecue, outdoor fireplace, jacuzzi and a large lovely sauna where everyone fits. Comfortable beds, very clean and clear communication with Jenny made everything very easy and safe. We highly recommend a visit - we will be happy to come back.

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

We spent a week in Erica's cottage and especially enjoyed the nature and tranquility. We even saw deer, a moose, hares and probably stags. Everything you need was available in the house and it had many small extras, for example, in the refrigerator. We also grilled and of course enjoyed the hot tub. For the arrival, Erica's description was very helpful - be sure to pay attention! We made a stop at the Eldtoma coffee shop and the navigation system led us to a completely wrong barrier....! Thank you Erica for everything!

Very lovely place to stay when you want to explore Stockholm but prefer calm time too. Felt like I was at home. Very social cat there sat with me through night and helped me to study (distraction was perhaps bigger). Would recommend it to anyone (emotional support by the cat).

Our stay at Erika's place has just been wonderful and relaxing, and this is not only because of the place itself, which is cozy, clean and cured with attention to every detail, but also (and perhaps mainly) because they have treated us with great kindness and hospitality, making us feel at home and anticipating every kind of need. We are grateful for finding this place and for meeting them both (and their lovely dogs). Wish we could have spend more time!

We had a really lovely week, close to swimming with a nice sandy beach. Cozy garden and terrace to spend the days on. Catrin was easy to reach in case of questions. We highly recommend both Catrin and the accommodation.

We had such a great time at this lovely cottage. We felt at home, the area is so quiet and yet close to a nice cafe, the sea, the grocery store, adventure swimming many hiking trails and not far into Stockholm. Ann-Kristin and Ragnar helped with everything we needed and made the stay so cozy. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back.

We had a great stay at Carl's place. We loved the silence and nature around the house and on the island. The house is at walking distance (15 min) from the buss to Stockholm city (appr 1 hour). There is a lot of deers and foxes in the area and we were lucky to have spotted an "älg" close to the house. The communication with the host worked perfectly and was very friendly.

The perfect little cabin in charming Dalarö. Our family enjoyed four peaceful days here watching our daughters play in the yard, taking evening strolls around the cute town and sipping wine with beautiful waterfront views. Pia is very helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

This place is such a great escape from the busy traffic and tempo in Stockholm. We came for a weekend (Friday afternoon-sunday afternoon) and could easily have stayed longer. The island is quite, and the surroundings around the house is so peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the sauna, wood chopping, barbecue, and just sitting quietly by the fireplace reading/watching movies. We got there by Uber + taxi boat from Stavsnäs vinterhamn, which was smooth and convenient. Already looking forward to come back to Skärvassa!!

Dan's cottage is beautifully situated above a lake, near the town of Norrtälje. The apartment is very modern, contains everything you need. The cleaning is done by the tenants - so luck depends a little on who was there before you. 🙂 A beautiful jetty and a small beach are a 10-minute walk away. Shopping is also only about 10-15 minutes by car. It was beautifully quiet there, in the evening pitch dark and very relaxing. There is plenty to see all around, beautiful nature, the sea and endless hiking trails. Absolute recommendation!

We spent a few very nice and relaxing days in this house. The check-in was super easy. We received very detailed information in advance and the communication with Alex and Emma was super nice and uncomplicated. The accommodation is as shown in the pictures. There is a nice swimming area, a grocery store and a bakery nearby. We recommend this accommodation without reservation and would come back anytime.

We had a really great time at the stuga! The view is amazaing and we couldn't get enough of the view over the water and islands! The inside of the house is comfortable and it is more spacious than it appeares on the fotos online. Robert and Pia are very friendly hosts and are very easy to reach. We spent two wonderful weeks in this fantastic house. Everything was perfect – the house is very well maintained, well equipped and offers a magnificent view of the water. The location on the quiet island is idyllic and yet Stockholm can be reached in only about 40 minutes. Linda and her husband were great hosts: warm, helpful and available at all times. We felt completely comfortable. We can highly recommend this place.
