Holiday rentals with a kayak in Nicoya Peninsula

Alexa was super attentive and helpful. We had everything we needed at the house. The beach chairs were a huge plus! As were the many beach towels. Check out Gracia restaurant ! Also the pickleball and tennis facility down the road is where we sent so much our time - world lass facility! A great rental near so much!

We had the best time! We had a few small plumbing issues, Joel was immediately responsive and problems were solved within an hour. Restaurants: Rustico, Rural (Tamarindo), Lola’s. Beaches: playa Flamingo & Playa Avellana were our favorites. House is super family friendly with the open concept.

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

Mi familia y yo estuvimos durante una semana en esta propiedad, la casa es moderna, amplia y muy cómoda. Éramos 6 personas y el espacio fue perfecto. Hacíamos 15 min a playa Flamingo que es nuestra favorita. La piscina comunicaría muy linda y la piscina pequeña que está en la casa era ideal para refrescarse. Buen servicio de parte de don Santiago, el guarda y buena comunicación con Jennifer. Definitivamente volveremos!

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

Una casa muy acogedora, el lugar increíblemente tranquilo. Muy accesible a cualquier supermercado; restaurantes, sodas, heladerías y muy cerca de Liberia. Ponderosa a 18 min. Josep fue un excelente anfitrión, sin duda cuando volvamos por la zona ya sabemos donde alojarnos.

We loved our stay at your place. Karla was kind and friendly. was very comfortable for our 2 families, 8 people in total. We enjoyed cooking and swimming in the pool. Parking was easy and it felt very safe. we would love to stay again! we highly recommend your place. thanks again!

This place was perfect for our group of six! We were able to easily reach our Arenal Volcano excursion from this home. The pool was perfect for slipping into after a full day of travel. There are quite a few creatures inside and outside of the home but it was not an issue for us! The showers were great and the beds were very comfortable and AC is always appreciated!

Han’s place was fantastic! We really appreciated Cinthya’s help with the smooth check-in and the personal tour. The home had everything we needed and more; it truly felt like a home away from home. This stay and the views were unreal! The our door area / view is priceless. House was very clean, and no complaints at all. Check in was easy. The only things I would point out is WiFi can be spotty at times (as expected, just a heads up for anyone who may need 24/7 access to it), and keep in mind it is about 30 minutes out from downtown La Fortuna which was no problem to us as we had a car to drive ourselves. Those are not cons though, only heads ups! There is no where else I would have rather stayed during our trip and our expectations were beyond exceeded! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to La Fortuna!

Margaret's place was above and beyond beautiful inside and out. It was so serene and peaceful. A bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely touch. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We spent our mornings on the porch drinking coffee and listening/watching the birds. Margaret was quick to respond to our questions. We took a hike down to Lake Cote which was just around the corner. The location is perfect only being 15 min from town but beautifully secluded. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. We will definitely return and would encourage anyone to stay at Margaret's place!

Tranquil, quiet stay. Very fairly priced. Israel was quick to respond to questions and very helpful.

Muy recomendada. La cabaña es igual a las fotos, ordenada, aseada, la ubicación es buena, céntrica en un pueblo. Cerca de varias playas.

Der Aufenthalt im „House of Waves“ war eine Bereicherung für unsere Costa Rica Reise. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist einzigartig, man spürt und hört das Meer in allen Facetten. Zwar wohnt man in der Anlage mit anderen Parteien zusammen, aber es war stets ruhig und ein respektvoller Umgang. Man kann auch frei die Aussenflächen nutzen. Die Bambuskontruktion des Häuschens ist sehr beeindruckend, man hat alles was man braucht und es steckt sehr viel Liebe in allem. Seid euch einfach bewusst: Ihr lebt mit der Natur zusammen, das heisst mit Kakerlaken, Krabben und anderen Insekten. Im und ums Haus. Das ist Teil der Erfahrung 😊
