Holiday rentals with lake access in Nicaragua

My girl friend and I loved this place to escape, unwind, and enjoy quality time with each other in a place that had everything we needed. Go for a swim in the lagoon or pool with the company of two beautiful dogs. The property care takers took very good care of us and access to the property was simple.

Encantada con las instalaciones, Jimmy y Sara super atentos, de igual manera su mayordomo. Es un lugar bellisumo con todo para sentirse como en nuestra propia casa, me encanto que cuentan con Generador Electrico de Emergencia. Pronto regresaremos nos ha fascinado mucho!

We loved staying at Antonio's beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen & living room, super comfy bedrooms & the AC worked great. Great location to wander & shop and loved the dipping pool to cool off at the end of the day. The layout was great because the bedrooms were in the back away from traffic and the kitchen area is separated at the front so you can be noisy in the morning if everyone else is still sleeping!

Very spacious home located in an area near restaurants and a town square. Air conditioners were very effective to keep the bed rooms comfortable. Home has all of the amenities you may need to cook or prepare meals. Check in and check out were smooth. Guide book provided by host was helpful for tours and recommendations.

Que decir de este lugar, es tan tranquilo y tan hermoso. Me sentí tan relajado estos días, además de la zona que es muy tranquila y llena de naturaleza. Nel se porto super linda y accesible xon nosotros todo el tiempo, además que su cosecha de café es excelente. En caso de volver a viajar a Nicaragua, no duraremos en regresar a este lugar ❤️✨️

You are paying for the location. The location and the size of the property cannot be beat. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had a new sponge which hasn’t been the case at other Airbnbs. And the pool is quite nice! It would be nice if there were a few more kitchen amenities like lids for the pots and seasonings. It would also be nice if the trash in the yard was picked up in case there are children running around barefoot. There were some pop tops/bottle tops. But you cannot beat how close it is to the water. It felt like a private resort.

Justino's place is very pretty, silent and peaceful. It has all amenities needed for a family to be able to cook, clean, and rest. It's close to excelent places to be in the island. Justino as a host is very comunicative, went above and beyond maing sure we were taken care of and that we would be comfortable. Greatly recomended and appreciated.

Good space, very relaxing, coffee maker so easy to use even I could figure it out.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

Très beau logement, le terrain était magnifique, beaucoup d'arbres et de fleurs. Un petit paradis en bordure du lagon Apoyo. La route pour s'y rendre est sinueuse, mais belle. Le dernier 500 mètres et très rocailleux et l'emplacement mal Identifié. Mais pour le reste tout est parfait.

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in Jeydins Unterkunft! Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet auch alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Ich habe mich von Anfang an super wohlgefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, und die Kommunikation mit Jeydin war herzlich, unkompliziert und schnell. Ich kann diesen Ort absolut empfehlen – ideal für alle, die eine ruhige, schöne Unterkunft direkt am See suchen. Danke, Jeydin – ich komme gerne wieder!

This place was exactly what we were looking for in an AirBnB. The location was amazing, it was beautiful and peaceful. There’s plenty of things to do around this property if relaxing isn’t something you’re looking to do. It felt like we were in paradise. Cesar is very attentive and quick to respond to any situation. Can’t wait to go back!

Nothing bad to say about Hector y Isabel's place. Hector was such an amazing host who is so gracious and knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Ometepe. He gave us a great deal on renting his motorcycle and even brought in his sister in law to teach us how to cook local cuisine. If you ask nicely, he might even bring you up the hill and show you his beautiful farm on the side of the Maderas Volcano. Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and 2km or so to Ojo De Agua. Do yourself a favor and stay in this great spot. Thanks Hector!

Ons verblijf was prachtig! Mooiste accommodatie van centraal Amerika waar wij zijn geweest tot nu toe. Je begeeft je in een paradijs. Prachtige tuin, comfortabele slaapkamers en badkamers, mooi uitzicht, ruim opgezet, veel zitjes in het huis en in de tuin. Je duikt vanaf de tuin zo het meer in. Wilmer en zijn familie zijn zeer vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Wij raden deze plek zeker aan!

This was the best AirBnB experience we've ever had. In complete seriousness, when you read my review, you should just book this place if it works out with your travel plans. If any of these criteria matter to you, this place fits the bill: an extremely helpful and knowledgeable host who will help you coordinate almost anything; perfect cleanliness; a spot next to the water; somewhere eco-friendly; a warm shower; fresh fruits, eggs, herbs, etc literally outside your door; interacting with friendly animals; safety; your own place (not a hotel/hostel); ability to cook your own food; ability to get to anywhere on both sides of Ometepe with relative ease; restaurants/businesses within easy walking; English & Spanish; I could keep going but I think you may get the picture. Linda is one of the most incredible people we've met who has spent years enriching the lives of the people in her community and we couldn't be more grateful for what she shared with us and did for us. Thank you so much.

This was our second stay and as expected, it exceeded our expectations . I am sure we will return again, we absolutely love this place.

My partner and I had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, easy to get to grocery/atm or restaurants. Having a scooter made things easier but everything is also walkable. We were surprised to find how windy this side of the island gets, but it keeps the temperature cooler and easy to sleep in. Our private hostel was spacious and clean - and coming from the U.S. we found the price to be well worth it.

The place is amazing, however it gets a little bumpy one mile before you get to the house, a small car won’t ever make it, if you thinking to get there at night I would recommend that you don’t because the last mile it’s very narrow and very dark. Other than that the place it’s amazing and the care takers are amazing people. Pablo is very responsive and was always available.

Wilber and Lesbia were wonderful hosts and their place was absolutely beautiful. It was clean despite it being quite rustic. We had many animals and bugs come through and it was a very fun experience. The private beach and access to the lake was incredible and the homemade breakfasts are highly recommended.

Gracias me encantó el lugar me sentí como en mi finca, la playa super cerca a menos de 100 metros, muy bonito todo y el anfitrión calidad de persona bendiciones sin duda nos volveríamos a quedar.

Die Zeit im Papaki Haus war sehr schön. Hab mich wie daheim gefühlt. Teresa hat mich bei allem unterstützt was ich brauchte! Außerdem konnte ich mit ihr mein spanisch üben;) die Lage war super, nah am Strand und zum Wasserfall! Würde jederzeit wieder gerne kommen :)
