Guest house holiday rentals in Nicaragua

If you come to Managua you must stay here! Waleska and her parents are super friendly and overall great people. They recommend great places to eat and sights to see. On top of that the house is located in a fantastic spot that is close to many bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. In addition to that, it is a super safe area where you can walk around at night with no worries. We will definitely be staying with them when we come back to Nicaragua.

I enjoy my stay, the place is very quiet and peaceful, the 1 bedroom Cottage was perfect for a couple, I would definitely stay here again, Greg an Geidy were very helpful and allowed me to check is super late due to a flight delay, I hope next time I show up much earlier than that. Thank you both for the hospitality

Rebeca and family attended us with wonder, the communication is excellent, the place is accessible, the photos do not do it justice....the place is much more beautiful and magical. We felt very comfortable and rested as if we were at home. We will definitely return and recommend it!

This is a nice safe neighborhood, quite neighbors and a big apartment. Kitchen has some nice amenities and it is easy to come and go with nice privacy

Informative&friendly host, stunning&quiet place. Breakfast included was a surprise and it was lovely! Staff went above and beyond to help us. When we arrived we had a screw in our tire and an employee called a local repair man who came and fixed our tire the same day. We also had many ants in our room and an employee came and took care of it and changed all our bedding. I was very impressed with the amenities and the friendly, helpful staff. I only wish I had more time here!

An unforgettable experience! We spent 7 days in this cozy refuge in Managua, and it was the perfect setting to reunite with family and friends after years of separation. The location is ideal, close to Route 106 that takes you to the heart of the city, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. The place is simple but comfortable, with air conditioning and everything you need to feel at home. And while it's not a luxury hotel, it has a special charm that makes you feel part of nature. What we appreciated most was the opportunity to reconnect with our loved ones in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. We share laughter, stories and unforgettable moments in this special place. If you are looking for a retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with what really matters, this is the perfect place. Taniuska is a wonderful host! We will be back soon!

Great host ☺️ The dogs are also fun and cute. Slim is super accessible and friendly. She does give great recommendations and the tour on the scooter was fun 🛵 we ended up at the floating bar with an amazing sunset 🙂‍↔️. Thank you Slim 🙇🏾‍♀️

Just perfect

I cannot recommend this place enough, I stayed here for 4 weeks and it felt like home! Maria Luisa is an incredibly kind and welcoming host and also a great Spanish teacher. The location is perfect, quiet and private but only a minute walk to all the best restaurants and beaches. I would not hesitate to come back or recommend it to anyone thinking of going to San Juan Del Sur.

This place was really clean and well maintained. If I go to Managua at any time, I want to use it again. There is a distance to where there is a large grocery store, but there are frequent public buses around the house, so it was convenient when moving. The host and family were really sweet. Feedback is quick, so I don't think it'll be difficult to stay for a long time:)

I have stayed in many Airbnb’s and I just one to say that this was by far the best one. Not only was the house beautiful and comfortable, but Nino and his wife Silvana are the sweetest people. They made me and my family feel not only at home but they made us feel like family. They help us out at every moment! There are also many restaurants in the area and there is a nice mall a couple of miles away. I had an amazing experience at this place.

Perfect. The casita is new, equipped to a high standard, private (totally separate from the house), and also tastefully designed. It is evident that the owner has invested a lot to provide the guests with as good an atmosphere as possible. There is a water purification system and an independent solar system (so no power outages - not trivial at all in Nicaragua) . The location is also good - central and allows you to walk a short distance to anywhere in the iguana complex. Highly recommended

What an absolutely wonderful stay. Casa la Selva was perfect for all our needs, we didn’t want for anything. The location was great, away from the “hustle and bustle” of SJDS, but restaurants and basic groceries totally accessible. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and Colorados and Panga Drops. Lulu the cat came to visit us everyday and James was a marvelous concierge - communicative and responsive, always almost immediately. We wish we could have stayed so much longer!

I had full use of the space & found it both relaxing & functional, even for remote work thanks to strong Wi-Fi. The terrace felt private & serene, with greenery & birdsong all around. Mercedes is warm, respectful, & responsive, always ensuring I had what I needed while giving me plenty of space. Any brief interactions felt friendly, never intrusive. This isn’t a generic rental — it’s a thoughtfully curated space with heart. If you’re seeking peace, light, & character in a beautiful setting just outside the busy city, but close to the airport, this is the perfect spot. I’d absolutely return & recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, restorative stay.
