Angela’s house is beautiful, I really love it! The room was lovely and cosy. It’s easy to get to the city centre, and could enjoy residential areas’ peaceful atmosphere. Angela was very helpful and friendly, and she respected my personal space, which I really appreciated. I was glad that we had chances to chat about the house and travel experience, even though we both had full schedules during those days. I also liked the company of two cats, Bobby and Jesper. They were cute!

Great and clean house approximately 40 min. away from the city center. We were with the 4 of us and 2 of us had to sleep in the living room, but if you're not home that much that is not a problem at all. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet, and despite it not being close by any of the main tourist attractions of the city, the public transport to and from the city was relatively fast. The hosts were nice and easy to communicate with. Overall, a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend :)

What can I say - our stay gave us a lovely taste of life in a charming little cottage with a garden! The interiors had a different character than the quaint exterior which made it all the more unique. I especially loved the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed—crockery, utensils, and more—so we could enjoy home-cooked meals at least once a day. After long days exploring Edinburgh, it was always a joy to return to this cozy home, rest our tired knees and feet and relax. Maria, our host, was friendly and helpful from the moment we booked right up to our check-in. She made everything feel smooth and welcoming. Getting into town was super easy—we took the bus most days, which was really convenient. We even started to feel like locals! 😆 Arthur’s Seat was just around the corner, and my husband and son hiked it three times during our 7-day stay. They loved it! If we ever return to Edinburgh, we’d absolutely love to stay here again.

Melissa’s place is amazing. 5 stars! There are a lot of wow characters in her place. The place is huge for just the two of us. The kitchen is spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. The room is very comfortable and warm. We did not have to use public transport at all to get to all of the tourist spots. It is close to lots of the main sight seeing spots. Very convenient. Melissa is very friendly and helpful. She is very proactively with her communication. We supposed to contact her before we arrive but I did not read the instructions. She contacted us and sorted things. We only stay 2 days in Edinburgh, which we could stay for longer! Would stay in Melissa’s place again! Highly recommend it!

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. It was about a 10 minute walk to the tram and about the same to Old Town. Shops and restaurants were just around the corner. The apartment was clean, and there was bread on the counter and milk in the fridge when we arrived. The aparment is upstairs, so you do have to go up a flight of stairs. It was a delightful place in the heart of Edinburgh!

The Garden Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The location was very convenient to Stockbridge and all of its restaurants and shops. There are numerous bus stops within 10-20 mins walk to grab a quick bus up the hill into New Town, across Princes Gardens into Old Town, or even for easy day trips like to Rosslyn Chapel or Portobello. Victoria was a very accommodating host and easy to work with. The cottage had plenty of space, was very well equipped for self-catering, and was stocked with all the basics you need (e.g., coffee, tea, sugar, etc.). Having a washer and dryer (as well as a drying rack) was a luxury we’ve rarely seen in the UK or Europe.

Castle view from every window proved to be the perfect flat for exploring Edinburgh. The core location in Old Town offers an ideal base to explore the City and surrounding areas. Everything from groceries to cafes were merely a short walk away. We also loved how the flat comes equipped with all the comforts of home and offered ample room to lounge around in the evening after a day of outings. Lynne was a delightful host. We found the detailed guest guide to be very helpful in addressing any questions we might have had about the flat, as well as information about getting around town and much more. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

My husband and I had a great stay at Paul’s apartment! The apartment is even better in real life than in the photos. As others have mentioned, the communal spaces could use a little attention, though we knew that this is not within Paul’s control. The location was perfect for what we needed, Paul was responsive and kind, and the groceries he provided for our stay were a really, really nice touch. We’d stay here again should we come back to Edinburgh!

We absolutely loved our stay for the marathon! We found the flat to be very spacious for 4 of us and David clearly went above and beyond to think of any little extra you might need. The location is great and very central while feeling quieter and away from the hustle and bustle. We couldn’t get over the view of the castle! Would definitely reccomend

Helen and Amos were lovely hosts. We were pleasantly surprised at their hospitality. Lovely to chat to as well as they were very friendly.

The apartment was lovely—well-decorated, even. The beds were amazing, the location was just a little outside the city and that was great. For other guests—unless you want to take long drives, a rental car is not needed. Uber was super fast and very affordable. There is parking, which we found out is exceedingly rare in the city. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved, loved, loved our stay at Charlotte’s place. Perfect location, close to everything but very quiet. Very grand interior, and spacious so it was easy to relax. Lovely bay window seat with a lovely view in the kitchen. Great shower/bathroom, super comfortable bed. Loved all the art and furnishings. Very happy we were able to stay here for our Edinburgh visit! Charlotte is also extremely lovely and a great host!

Had a great couple of nights here. Very central. Walkable distance to supermarkets. Very cosy. Only downside was the shower base was very slippery.

Toby's place was exactly what my wife and I needed. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Toby was very responsive and helpful. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great apartment in a perfect location — close to everything in Edinburgh! The host was kind and helpful, and the place was clean, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommend!

I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

Lovely flat in a perfect location. Easy access to all Edinburgh has to offer with lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby. Aria's flat was so comfortable, clean, and inviting and Aria was great at communicating. I'd highly recommend this flat and would happily stay again.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

Highly recommend Tara's place! It was a very clean, well-equipped home during our two day stay. She was easy to find and provided much info on the area and our home which gave us great comfort and independence during our stay. Check in and out was very easy and Tara was a very good communicator. We enjoyed our stay, and Tara, very much and highly recommend her place.

Aileen was an amazing host! The place was amazing and in a perfect location. Everything about the apartment was awesome. I would recommend staying here if it’s available. I will definitely be looking to stay here again next time I am in Edinburgh!
