We absolutely loved our stay. Every detail was phenomenal and we were blown away with the place!! Totally recommend this place!!

I’m from Newfoundland and have stayed in many places around the island. Francois has long been a bucket list trip for me. I have to say it was completely worth it. The ferry ride is long and it takes a bit of planning but this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. These communities won’t last forever the way things seem to go but I’m grateful I got to experience it. Andrew’s place is the perfect home base for exploring the area. If you have the time and opportunity to visit Francois you really can’t beat this spot.

Judd’s place was just what we needed. A beautiful peaceful property, with wonderful scenery. We felt very at home with our animals. A Lovely weekend.

Our family had a 4 month stay at this Air BnB due to a temporary displacement from our home. Ray was very accommodating. The house was comfortable and quickly became our temporary home. It has such a beautiful view to wake up to every morning! Would recommend staying here!

This is a beautiful location on the ocean with a patio overlooking the ocean and another one in the back. It is a very nice home, very well kept and very clean and containing absolutely everything you could possibly need. A really comfortable place to use as a base for touring Conception Bay as well as Trinity Bay. There is a great walking trail right outside your door and plenty of local attractions close by. I cannot find a superlative that suits the host. He is the best..... funny, helpful welcoming and dedicated to his customers. A genuinely hospitable Newfoundlander. I am definitely going back.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The setting was so peaceful and private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was clean and the ideal way to unwind in the evenings, and the gazebo was gorgeous! Everything was just as pictured (if not better), and the attention to detail really made it feel cozy and welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and already wishing we could come back. Highly recommend!

Kyle and Connie were excellent hosts, very responsive from the very first message. The cottage location is very peaceful, has all of the amenities we needed, and the screen house which was my favorite part has the most relaxing furniture. They also have an outdoor firepit but on this trip we did not take advantage of it. We came from the West Coast and stayed for 10 days while walking the Island Walk. I am definitely planning to return with my husband hopefully next year.

Staying here feels like being welcomed into someone's home! The festive decor made everything feel so cozy and comfortable. Cheryl is a fantastic host, always responsive and thoughtful.

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. The kayaks are great to paddle around in the calm water, and the fire pit is perfect for cooler evenings. We had numerous cloudy days and no trouble with the solar power. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

What a wonderful find!! The whole family enjoyed the space, warm and cozy wood stove for the cold evenings, large workable kitchen, great barbecue!! The trails across the road were perfect for children and pets!! Well marked and easy to follow.

Beautiful place just off the main road, very cozy and spacious! Nice and quiet most times with the occasional truck passing by.

The views from the deck are amazing! Feels like your own private cove. The house is super cute and was perfect for our stay. The beds were so comfy, the bathroom was nice and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed with great quality cookware. The washer and dryer was so nice! We were 2 weeks into our Newfoundland road trip adventure during our stay and the ability to wash our clothes was priceless! Wish we had been able to take advantage of the kayaks, but it was SO windy that it didn't seem like the best idea. Didn't put a damper on things though, there was plenty to keep us busy! We thoroughly enjoyed all Twillingate had to offer and did a day trip to Fogo Island. This is such a great spot and will definitely be booking again next time we're in the area!

Myself and a few girl friends spent a weekend here and we had a wonderful time! The cabin is even more beautiful in person! Johnny is super friendly and very responsive to messages! I would totally visit again.

Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this spot! The view from the dining room is amazing, the summer sun sets right on the river in front of the cottage. The place has a great vibe, it felt like going to a family owned retreat. A great place for large groups. Memories are sure to be made!

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse with our 3 year old!! We really appreciated the welcome gifts and lovely note upon arrival. David and Kim were extremely responsive with any questions we had leading up, and made sure our stay was perfect!! The boathouse had everything we needed. We found the bed comfortable which is always very important to us! The weather didn't cooperate for our long weekend stay, but it didn't even matter as there is a beautiful covered deck where you can still sit out when it's raining and have a fire overlooking the peaceful water! Our little guy loved making s'mores in the bonfire and throwing rocks into the water! Our only regret was not taking our little pups along for the adventure!!!

Such an amazing place! Lots of room and an amazing view! Will definitely book again, especially in the summer time. Kids had an absolute blast there. Said it was the best weekend ever!

What an amazing cabin in the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from all the noise. The fall colours were unreal and was the perfect backdrop for the pond view. Chad was an outstanding host. This is a must do if you are looking for a quiet Newfoundland get away. We’ll be back for sure!

The chalet was beyond our expectations! Very peaceful and a beautiful hidden gem. We needed a place to unwind and relax and not worry about life and what time of day it was and this place has it all! The art work is absolutely stunning!!Beautiful view of Island Pond from the fire pit spot too a gorgeous nite sky from the hot tub!!

I always have things to complain about when I stay at air bnb's. They never live up to my expectations. However, there is not one thing I can say, which is negative, about this cabin. Spectacular views, spotless, lovely hot tub, comfortable furniture and cozy beds, lots of outdoor furniture and spaces, not far from CBS/St. John's, responsive hosts. They truly deserve all 5 stars. We would book here again, and may well do so! I do feel it's worth noting that it's located in cabin country so you have neighbours. There are plenty of trees to keep this property private but you can hear loud music from time to time. Also, there is no dishwasher.
